It was perfect! Great service! Thank you Connor!
Took my boyfriend here for his first time. The ambiance at this restaurant was really elegant and relaxed. Fine dining at its best. We both started our evening with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. The Winery Corkscrew Pasta was of chief perfection, each bite of the pasta was filled with memorable flavors. Having to hear my boyfriend say he would come back a second time was a great highlight of our evening. We both would recommend The Winery in Tustin for a great date night or dining experience.
The Winery has a wonderfully unique menu with much to choose from. We had the venison which was tender & delicious & the catch of the day, black cod which was delicious as well. Dessert was decadent & food presentation beautiful. Service was very friendly & attentive.
Great place for lunch. Food, service and ambiance was outstanding!!!
First class delightful experience
Amazed at how wonderful this place is. It is a fine dining experience without the fine dining cost. My fiancé and I loved it. Staff was so friendly. Our server, Tony, was fantastic and the cook and managers made sure to check on us to see if everything was to our liking. So glad we decided on this place for dinner. We will definitely be going back.
A very nice restaurant with excellent service and attention to detail! Staff make us feel special. Food was outstanding, and so were the drinks. Extensive wine list. We will be coming again for sure!
High expectations were meet with a huge disappointment. Having been a regular diner, 3-4 nights per week, from 2009-2013 while working in the area and returning whenever travel allows will now be removed from my list of favorites. The quality, consistency, atmosphere and service levels were sub standard and pale in comparison to what they were when making a name for themselves. Unfortunately, The Winery will no longer be destination for my group...following an $800 dinner the group should not leave discussing how bad things were. In retrospect, the lack of patronage should have been a clear indicator.
We've dined here many times but this past Saturday they missed the mark. We ordered two appetizers -- the calamari and the flatbread with duck. The first appetizer came out and was tough and the second was a no show. We inquired of the server and he said "oh, there was a communication problem with the kitchen". When it finally came out, it was burned and was not good. The entrees -- the husband liked the duck breast and it was a different preparation than before. I ordered the mussels and frites and they were not good. The mussels were not plump, but dried up. They put the frites on top of the mussels and this was not a good idea as the frites fell into the sauce. They served bread with the museels but the bread was not good either. Our server from Vermont was nice and made up somewhat for the dinner. Would not recommend the Winery at this stage.
Amazing service with some exceptional food specials. The menu has some great offerings it was hard to really decide. Great wine list, it was a perfect night!
Food was good but had a high price. You get what you pay for
Special valentines menu
Great food! Excellent service! A bit pricey. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
It was overpriced for what you get. For a $99 forced menu, the least they could do would be give me enough food to fill me up. I was still hungry.
Great valentines dinner, amazing bone marrow, lamb was good but could use lest herbs and more acidic
Server was pleasant but the service was slow. Food came out really late
Damien is an excellent server! Had him both times we've been there. Always so pleasant and accommodating. The food was excellent!
Another lovely night out at the Winery. Food is always consistant and the service impeccible. Always a 5 star evening at The Winery.
Pricey, but worth it. Nice place for business meals and better than the franchise steak houses.
I'm a big fan, and frequent patron at the winery. So, some constructive criticism here... when your daily special is twice the price of the average entree, you should tell, or more appropriately, warn your guests up front before they order it. Charging $53 for a common piece of fish is unexpected to say the least, and outrageous in most circles. Better to surprise your guests before they order then shock them when they get the bill.
I love this place, the staff is always friendly and attentive, the menu never disappoints, the wine list is extensive and they allow an after dinner cigar on the outdoor patio after dinner. You cant go wrong here.
The restaurant is beautiful and the wait staff was attentive and helpful. We had the special pasta of the day that was amazing and ended an enjoyable meal with a delicious chocolate cake. I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.
Overall, it was fine, but menu is uninspired and food just average. Just nothing special about the food or décor.
My husband and I both had the filet Mignon. It was delicious. We split a baked potato and it came with all the fixings. The service was excellent; both the bartender and our server were friendly and efficient. I would definitely like to come back!
Don't understand why "romantic" restaurants have to have the music piped through the ceiling speakers so loud. Otherwise, this is a lovely venue to celebrate a special occasion.
Everything was fabulous!
The food was excellent. The service was amazing! I can't wait to go back!
The food was delicious and our server, Connor, was exceptional!!
We had an amazing time. Hostess (nice lady with an 8mo old baby,; we brought ours ; ) and waitress Erica were both very attentive!! They made our day!
The service was wonderful
The food, not so much
It gave me the impression that the head chef with off because everything was not up to par
The halibut tastes burnt
My sons chicken on his salad had the same burnt taste
The duck was fatty
The salmon was dry
The shrimp cocktail was watery
All in all a very disappointing food experience
The only good thing was the waiter and his attention to service
This was the 2nd dinner at the Winery for our 3 couple group. The past visit in December was excellent. This time was not a satisfying dinner. The waiter was not present nor engaged with our group. We felt dismissed and thus we will no longer return to the winery nor will recommend the restaurant to our friends and network.
The wedge salad arrived as a chopped salad, no bread or butter was served or offered. A request for pepper was acknowledged as a certainly, but it never came. The filet was ordered medium and came rather rare in the center, a callout I specifically did not want. To thrive a waiter must engage and be present and follow through, rather this waiter seemed overwhelmed and not really into his work.
Went for my wife's birthday, our Open Table reservation had a quiet booth ready for us. Our server, Brittney, was very attentive and offered good suggestions for us. We loved the pork belly lollipop appetizers, wife had salmon, I had Mahi Mahi. Was a lot of food, and we ended up taking some home. Great experience, we'll be back again.
My daughter and I had a very nice booth enjoying a quiet evening. Our server David was excellent!
Terrific, top to bottom. Excellent evening. Could not have been better.
The food was awful for steakhouse prices. The charcuterie platter was made of really cheap cheese and 3 salami. Trader Joe’s has better choices. Definitely not worth for $22. Mains - all items, (veal & rack of lamb) were prepared from the same teriyaki esc sauce. It was terrible. The creme brûlée did not even have vanilla bean in it. It was just a custard. Best part of the meal was the table bread.
Wonderful atmosphere; attentive and professional service; outstanding wine line ....and overall experience and personal attention of William, et.al., most engaging and refreshing. Could NOT have been more enjoyable for our party of 10, celebrating my wife's 73 birthday!!
We loved to have dinner @the winery. The staff was amazing courteous and very efficient.
The hostess told us that no table was available. After seeing many empty tables I went on open table to see and it was wide open. Got a reservation and was seated minutes later. If you are told they don’t have a table check here first because the hostess doesn’t seem interested in doing her job.
Amazing experience every time! Thank you William and Lou!!
