I chose this restaurant as the location to propose to my wife. We are still married. Need I say more?
This is certainly not our first time at the Winery. Came in the celebrate a wedding anniversary. Seafood was poorly prepared; very bland. We had asked to change table prior to start eating since we were hoping for an intimate dinner. Answer was a categoric "no. I'm sorry." Yet, ere were many available tables. Tuna Spoons were poorly dressed, with very little tuna on them. Overal, i felt cheaper of over $200 (dinner for two). Next time, I'll go to a place that has consistently been excellent: The Dick in Newport. The Winery felt cheap and dry commercia. Not the Winery we remember...
Had Birthday celebration here with some friends. Steven our waiter was awesome as well as the sommelier.
We had a pleasant time enjoying delicious food and drinks. Definitely recommend you visit The Winery if you are in the area.
Celebrating my daughters 21st birthday, outstanding experience. We will definitely be back!!!
We celebrated our 16th anniversary. My wife and I like to explore restaurants that offer great wines. We were very impressed with their large quantity of wine selections and variety. I was really excited that they offered a local brewery from Fullerton. The beer was great. The waiter offered a great recommendation of wine to pair with our food. The food was exceptional. We recommend this restaurant to anyone who is excited about finding a place with great food and wine.
The vegetarian options were too few and very tasty. I am a fan of the Winery restaurant but will have to chose some place different for vegetarian options.
Enjoyed the staff, ambiance, food, drinks & people eating out at this establishment. Great food, great service. Is a little pricey, but well worth it. The beer & liquor listed are wonderful too. Awesome place. I would recommend this place.
Fillet was somewhat stringy and really missed the hollandaise sauce for our asparagus.
New Year’s Eve! Great experience! Excellent food, ambiance and terrific service!
Service was first rate and food very tasty. Looking forward to opportunity to return.
Tustin’s gem~ Highly recommend this restaurant/bar for casual or formal dining~ Food and service are exceptional!
The Winery is always a pleasure. The service is great, the food is outstanding and the wine list is very robust. We had almond dusted calamari and pork belly lollypops to start. Both were great, but the calamari was especially delicious. For our mains, we had lobster risotto, filet mignon and scallops and white shrimp over mushroom risotto. We all loved everything and shared a bit of each of our meals. We will definitely be back.
We've dined at both Orange County Winery Restaurant locations on many occasions and they never disappoint. Our XMAS Eve Tustin waiter, David, was great at explaining the menu and the day's specials, and always checked back to see how we were doing. You can tell the staff is well training and supervised. The starters and main courses were made with quality ingredients and expertly prepared. Highly recommended.
We went to have our holiday dinner and chose the Winery with our family. We ordered the bone in Filet ($60) and my husband came out 5 minutes before mine. Both of our steak was extremely fatty. We should have ordered the regular filet for $20 less or better yet got a better cut from While Foods next door. We were seated in the outside patio area but it was fully enclosed with heaters to find out people can smoke in there. We were in the middle of our dinner and a man 10-15 feet away lit a cigarette. We would have never sat there or made reservations knowing. It was so disgusting we opted to skip dessert and leave right away. We used to really enjoy this place but I’ll probably skip going there unless I know we will be seated inside.
We went for Christmas Eve, just the two of us. They we staffed up and ready for the night. Service was fast but friendly. Food was terrific. We'll go again on a non-holiday night.
I ordered a 12 ounce ribeye steak costing $52.00. I could have bought 3 prime steaks from Costco that were better cuts fo4 less money. Save your money, this restaurant cannot do it any better than you can do at home. I will give props to the Som. He was fun, intelligent and insightful.
The food and service were excellent, but they turned up the Christmas music too loud about half way through lunch.
Great food, wine, and ambience. Very enjoyable dining experience
Food was mostly mediocre. Had a Bone In Ribeye as did my friend. We both thought the steak was really bland. Brussels sprouts and fried asparagus were good, not great. Charcuterie board and cobbler were both good. Service was good, but again have had better. All in all this is not a place I would return to. Plenty of other similarly priced or even less expensive restaurants that offer better food, ambience and service.
Great staff and great food as always. We have our holiday luncheon there every year and we couldn’t be happier. They’re always super attentive and the food and wine is just incredible.
Great food and service. Took my team for holiday lunch and everything was great
Sat nite was just toooo busy (Xmas season) but food & service was spot on.
Had Reservations for 7:00 PM. I arrived at the restaurant at 6:55 PM.
Waited around 5-10 minutes before I was informed that a table would not be available until 8:30 PM. They offered to seat us at the bar area BUT NO apologies so I told them that we would be leaving. Only then did they apologize. They did try to offer free a appetizer BUT I was too upset at their customer service and left.
overall experience :
service could have been a bit better BUT it was Holiday Season, they were very Busy..
Waitress did not come by after taking orders.. Ordered a Bake Potato with our dinner, had to
find someone to get us topping..
Parking can be a grind...
Been here a couple times, everyone is very friendly, food is great, ambiance is very nice.
Nice decor, and nicely decorated with mostly tables and some booths, but on the night I went there were several large parties, and the noise level was very loud. The service was great, and very attentive, but the food was not as good as the service. They have a few semi private dining areas adjoining the main dining room, and when they are packed, it's just too loud and busy to have an enjoyable meal.
Food was great, service was great to.really felt welcomed soon as I walk in.
Thank you for being a part of the surprise. Our waitress Crystal or Christy was amazing. The bday girl enjoyed and we all had an amazing time. Definitely will return again and again
Overall great experience. Food and service was outstanding. I would recommend to others.
Food was excellent, but the cocktail was watered down. Not worth spending on cocktail, go for wine or scotch.
Wonderful date night with the love of my life. Will diff go back again
Nice restaurant with top notch service. My experience was just the right amount of attentiveness. Food was good however, the one knock is the lobster from the seafood tower. It was very bland like someone washed it too well so there is no ocean taste. :(
A great Thanksgiving experience! Whether it was the flat iron steak, the massive pork chop or the shrimp and scallops, every dish had by our party was really impressive.
Fabulous Thanksgiving dinner and totally wonderful service.
This was a pleasant experience but it was a bit pricey.
We enjoyed a quiet, romantic celebration on a Monday night. The restaurant was a bit quiet, so it felt like it was just us. Our server was new (finishing up his training) and he was DELIGHTFUL. Steven was close-by but didn't hover, he was knowledgeable without being overbearing, and very personable. His training waiter was Damian (whom we've had before) and we could tell immediately that Damian has perfected his training technique! About the food: I usually order the same thing (filet mignon with a red wine reduction) although this time I ordered the Bearnaise sauce (OMG! delicious). Hubby ordered the salmon (cooked perfectly, glistening with moisture, served hot). As a side, we had the butternut squash and potatoes (perfectly wonderful, but it could have cooked a little bit longer). Wines: I ordered the Halter Ranch Cabernet, yum! Hubby had the St. Supery Sauvignon Blanc -- presented appropriately chilly. Ask to sit at the Chef's Tables area and watch the kitchen; it's fascinating! We will be back very soon. Thanks, all xoxo.
We went to The Winery for dinner before going to the OC Performing Arts Center. We had plenty of time, and the staff was very attentive. Our appetizers and drinks were served quickly, and our main came out in perfect timing. The food was very tasty - we had the pork chop and the roasted brussell sprouts. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. We will definitely go back again.
Excellent staff with awesome team spirit coupled with tremendous wines and delicious food - look forward to the next opportunity to dine with them!
