A chic and sophisticated décor provides the setting for our distinctive "world cuisine", a provocative mix of zesty influences that creates a delightful dining experience in Palm Springs, California. Plush high-backed semicircular banquettes surround our dining room and offer comfortable and private seating. The cuisine has a light, exotic feel with an emphasis on Pacific Rim specialties, from Chilean Sea Bass baked in Banana Leaves or Kahlua-Barbecued Pork Chops to all sorts of tasty tapas, salads, wood-fired pizzas, and desserts. The Coral Seas Lounge, a hip mid-century style bar is lined with sexy black leather bar-stools and is reminiscent of the upbeat lounges of old Palm Springs. It wraps around the dining room and leads outside to a lush, tropical, 2000 square foot dining patio where a variety of specialty cocktails and old-school favorites are mixed - an ideal place where friends gather and martinis are sipped under the starlit desert sky.

    One of our favorites but prices have gotten high. Will continue to go but maybe not as often due to pricing! $17 for edamame seems to be a bit pricey in my opinion. Used to be a place we would visit weekly in season.

    Just go! Excellent Cocktails, wonderful service (Thanks, Ashley) PUPU platter is a wonderful share! Outrageous Chocolate Pie! Only complaint hostess who took us to our table had no personality! Ashley made up for her with terrific service & suggestions!

    We had our niece with us for just a few hours before she had a flight out of PS. Once we told our waiter, he managed our food and beverages efficiently and did not reduce our experience. Excellent food, excellent services. One of our favorite places!

    Always a good time at Tropicale. One minor quibble: once seated for our 7:30 reservation, we were told brusquely by our server the kitchen would be closing at 8:00 p.m, so orders needed to be placed. (It's always seemed to be at least 10 p.m.) We understand TOTALLY that employees deserve some time off during a Holiday, but we were startled by the abruptness. There had to have been a better way to say it. But the food was great, the service otherwise timely and friendly...it was just an awkward start.

    They had very good and pleasantly presented drinks, and put on a tasty Thanksgiving flare! The outdoor seating was surprisingly comfortable with flame heaters that added to the ambiance!

    Server was great, table was in a perfect location on the Patio. Drinks were great and the Turkey Dinner was fantastic. The Pumpkin Soup was to die for.

    We arrived at 4:00 For Thanksgiving dinner - my friends dish arrived much before mine. Mine reportedly had and accidental collision and had to be replated. My desert arrived before my friend was finished with her entree and was partially frozen and needed time to thaw.

    I never thought that I’d ever write a negative comment about Tropicale. We have eaten there many, many times since their opening 16 years ago! Thanksgiving Dinner was an exception! I made the reservation several weeks before the date requesting the Patio! When we arrived at 3:00 we were ushered through the almost empty covered patio to the open air patio! We chose to split the pre-fixed Turkey Diner and when it arrived, it was a total disappointment! Sorry that we will not be back for any Holiday Meals but will continue with their regular menu next time!

    I was travelling through Palm Springs from UK on my own so had a table for one on Thanksgiving. I was made to feel extremely welcome. I don’t recall the name of the person who served me but his service was impeccable 😊

    Wow. It was our first time here and quite busy. Our server, Karissa, said it was Thanksgiving was the busiest week. We were celebrating our anniversary and the host was able to get us a perfect table outdoors next to a heat lamp. Karissa was attentive and offered great suggestions. We will def. come back. Fun and lively vibe!

    One of my favorite places. Great food, good drinks, very friendly staff, and a fun vibe. Outdoor seating is comfortable and well shaded at any time of day. A weekend brunch here is a must with the bottomless mimosas.
