A chic and sophisticated décor provides the setting for our distinctive "world cuisine", a provocative mix of zesty influences that creates a delightful dining experience in Palm Springs, California. Plush high-backed semicircular banquettes surround our dining room and offer comfortable and private seating. The cuisine has a light, exotic feel with an emphasis on Pacific Rim specialties, from Chilean Sea Bass baked in Banana Leaves or Kahlua-Barbecued Pork Chops to all sorts of tasty tapas, salads, wood-fired pizzas, and desserts. The Coral Seas Lounge, a hip mid-century style bar is lined with sexy black leather bar-stools and is reminiscent of the upbeat lounges of old Palm Springs. It wraps around the dining room and leads outside to a lush, tropical, 2000 square foot dining patio where a variety of specialty cocktails and old-school favorites are mixed - an ideal place where friends gather and martinis are sipped under the starlit desert sky.

                                Tropicale gives you the feeling of paradise in the desert. We arrived and we were warmly greeted and immediately seated for dinner. The ambiance is nostalgic yet very cool for today’s diners. The menu offers a variety of Hawaiian Asian Fusion delights from a platter of Pupus (appetizers) for two (a “must have” on the first visit) to refreshing salads (the organic greens with toasted walnuts - delish) to wonderful entrees with a unique island twist (we’ll try a few on our next visit). The drink menu offers many tropical cocktails plus your favorite wines and beers (including a crisp Belgian Pilsner that my husband loved). The service is outstanding - our server recommended the carrot cake and chocolate cream pie - customers’ faves for dessert. We went for a cup of freshly brewed decaf coffee and a slice of the chocolate cream cake - absolutely delicious and not overly sweet. Make note, one piece was more than enough for the two of us. So here it is in a nutshell, if you’re looking for a piece of paradise in the desert Tropicale is the place to be. Make a reservation and enjoy! 😃🏝️🏜️💕

                                If you're looking for a dining experience that delights the senses, look no further than The Tropical. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and sincere service from Ramses, which set the tone for a fantastic meal. We started with the Caesar Salad featuring shaved Parmesan—it was an absolute winner! The salad was cold and crunchy, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of accompaniments. It's definitely best shared to fully appreciate its refreshing flavors. For our main course, we indulged in the tomahawk Cuban rubbed pork chop served alongside rice and black beans. It was nothing short of awesome! The robust flavors of the rub paired beautifully with the tender meat, making every bite a delight. Overall, we enjoyed every aspect of our meal at The Tropical. With delicious food and warm hospitality, this restaurant is a gem worth visiting again and again. Highly recommended!

                                Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Everyone at our table ordered a drink and everyone enjoyed them. The coconut martini was amazing. Elevated casual. Highly recommended.

                                The hosts were extremely helpful. I’m in a wheelchair and had to make sure to get a high top so I could get under the table with my niece. They were very accommodating to find the perfect table. I ordered one of my favorites Weibo friend Charles delicious had a wonderful mimosa to top it off. My French cheeseburger looked magnificent actually all the meals that came out look like the cover of a bon appétit magazine Excellent experience.

                                I booked this, not knowing what to expect. I was afraid because the choices seemed limited however, when I received my food, I was so very surprised. It was very, very good. I took some friends there the next day. The dessert was absolutely incredible. This is a Must Go to spot whenever anyone is in the Palm Springs area!!!
