    We should have walked away when we arrived and there was someone ordering their take away dinner at the reception. The staff completely ignored us and focused and getting the take away order. The service was extremely slow and the ambiance was definitely old school. The food matched the service and ambience. Sorry, we really wanted to enjoy the experience as they are in an awesome location but unfortunately that is the extent of the attraction to their dining experience.

    The location is the reason to dine here. You have the option of sitting outdoors, basically on the beach at beautiful La Jolla shores. The prices are very reasonable considering it is La Jolla. The service that evening was attentive but ours was not very knowledgeable about the food he was serving. The food was good and an excellent value given the price. The flat iron steak was very tasty and tender. I prefer eating here over the super expensive and crowded places up on Prospect that are packed with mostly tourists. Parking can be challenging, like a lot of LA Jolla. I took an Uber.

    We caught a great day at the restaurant and then enjoyed a great hamburger, onion rings and wine for lunch. Noise level…hmmm….how do you count the waves and beach noise? Love it. Been there a few times and we will be back!

    The host was accommodating, our entrees were delicious, the server was friendly but a bit slow to come back between visits to check on us, and the view.... THE VIEW! Sunset on the ocean with a front row seat. BEAUTIFUL! If you choose to sit inside by a window at sunset it is very warm. We asked to be moved to the patio where there was a nice breeze. Lovely way to end our San Diego trip on our last evening.

    Food was good but pricey for this restaurant. Great view but very outdated and old furniture and look and feel. Needs a major overhaul.

    My mother got an alergic reaction here that closed her throat and we told the server my mom was deathly allergic to sea food there could not be any cross contamination …. There

    We Celia graduation as well as Father’s Day and it was perfect. The staff was attentive and the food was excellent. The icing on the cake was the beautiful view!

    Such a disappointing meal. Waited over an hour to get our food after we had ordered and it was terrible. The $24.00 hamburger was raw. The turkey pesto sandwich was cold and actually terrible. Turkey slices like you'd get in the bologna section, a cold slice of Swiss cheese after the menu said Havarti, and the pesto looked like green mayonnaise. Have been eating for years and I would not go back again.
