   Nestled just off Tooting Broadway, you're not likely to stumble across this place by chance. Has a gastro pub feel with trendy classic-contemporary interior. Think hunky wooden tables and trendy grey walls. Lots of space too. Sunday lunch was amazing. Great value, generous portions and super tasty. An 'up and coming' crowd, very family friendly and very relaxed vibe. Will be going back again

   I took my wife and 7 month year old here for lunch on a Saturday to try out the new menu. The food was excellent and great value. We will definitely be back as I want to try most things on the new menu. Great with a baby, lots of space in the front dining room and nice atmosphere.

   We have been meaning to try The Selkirk for ages, having heard nothing but good reviews about the food from friends and reviews. It didn't disappoint. The food was delicious, generous servings and good value. Service on a busy Friday night was extremely friendly and efficient too. I will definitely be back again soon.

   Very impressed with the food, was served quickly and was delicious! My beef could have been a little bit rarer (having asked for rare) but just personal preference, was still very good. Would definitely recommend the crumble and custard- beautiful! Staff were very friendly, nice atmosphere, a nice change from some of the other pubs in Tooting (although they are good too!) I'm sure I will be returning, nice to know it's just around the corner. Well worth a shot on a Sunday.

   3rd visit for food and drinks and each time lives up to or exceeds expectations! Superb Sunday roasts, the BEST chips and I can now shout about the lamb pie too! Visited Friday 12th Feb with 3 friends who live from Banstead to Forrest hill and each one of them said they'd return independently. Great atmosphere, amazing restaurant quality food and I rather like their array of beers too! Well done Kerry & gang!!

   The Selkirk is our local and we have been for Sunday roast before. I would recommend booking as it is very popular. We were seated immediately and the staff were attentive throughout the meal. Try the pumpkin soup! It is delicious! We both had the roast chicken which was gorgeous, melt in the mouth, and the selection of veggies is vast and filling, definitely what you need on a rainy December Sunday. Enjoy the Selkirk, it is a hidden treasure!

   This local pub really come alive in summer thanks to the large garden but it is a pleasant place to have a wintery Sunday roast too. Nice food, friendly service, interesting beers. All you need from a local pub !

   Overall the experience was good. The food was good quality and the staff were friendly and attentive. The drinks service was slow though and a bit frustrating. £7.50 for a bloody mary is a bit much too. The food is good but the service is bit slow but did not mind as we were having an easy Sunday. No extra gravy when requested though, this is such a small thing but really makes a difference. Overall would go again and would recommend.

    We watched the rugby finals here on Saturday and it was perfect. Great service, great food, great ambiance, very child friendly and we especially loved the free juice on tap - a very nice touch 😊
