   I love everything about salty! The service is top-notch and the food is absolutely amazing. They’re known for being one of the best happy hours in town as well.  also, they have a great rewards program, so don’t forget to sign up.

   shoiuld have ordered a higher priced second meal. had it the wrong way around. they charge for the higher meal of course when you get one entree free... lol

   We have been to The Salty Sow many times over the years. If this had been our first time, I would have to really think about going back. While the food was great, as always, the service was very bad. We got there when it opened and were seated immediately. Our server came to us about 5 minutes after we sat to introduce herself and ask if we had questions. She said she would come back for our drink orders. Ten minutes later, she came for the drink order. After another server dropped off our drinks, our original server came by to take our food order. We ordered some starters which came out quickly. Another ten minutes passed before she took our main orders. We noticed the food was taking a while to come out, especially as tables around us who had ordered their food after us started getting their food orders. Thirty minutes after we placed our order I asked about our food. the server had a slightly startled look on her face but said it would be right out. Another 10 minutes went by before it did with no apology of how long it took.

    Food, atmosphere and value all great. Service, not so much. Server seemed too busy attending other larger parties (we were only two). My dining partner promptly received his glass of wine from the bar, but our server forgot to bring my iced tea. Took a while for him to come back to take our food order. We had to flag him down for a second glass of wine and a tea refill. We also had to flag him down to bring us our bill.
