The Restaurant at Ponte
The Restaurant at Ponte is open in inclement weather. Heaters and blankets are available in the winter, and misters and fans are used in the summer.

I have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. Great food, great service.
I’m a bit disappointed in the menu selection at Ponte. The service was great, but the food for the price paid was subpar. I renewed my wine club membership yesterday to get a break from the normal tasting room, but not sure I’ll dine in the restaurant anytime soon.
One of the finest restaurants I have ever eaten at. On a par with Mastro's of Beverly Hills. The filet I had was made perfectly and my wife had the special sea bass which she said was incredible.
Fantastic food, service, and ambiance.
Service was amazing and wine pairing suggestions were on point. Enjoyed our lunch.
Unfortunately it was extremely cold out , the heaters weren’t helping, and were only being used at medium power . We asked for a blanket that they have provided in the past and we were informed they aren’t providing them due to theft , which is understandable however it was a very chili night And I feel if they are going to be open for business they should consider the weather and provide a comfortable atmosphere for the Guests . We tried to sit and wait for our uber ride by their fire and supposedly that was out of order due to the weeks rain unfortunately it was a very uncomfortable our food was cold as well .. we have had great experiences in the past on a nice evening.. but would recommend NOT to visit on a cold night .
Food was wonderful. Ambiance amazing. Wine was nice. Service was amazing. What a nice experience :) Thank you!
Took 10 min to acknowledge the table. Received soup luke warm with no spoon, waited 5 min and had to flag down the server, sent back the soup. Dinner was served, filet was ordered med rare and served med well, broccolini was cold to the touch, straight out of the refrigerator. Sent back the steak, 2nd filet was a far better cut and cooked to order, broccolini still ice cold. Asked to speak with a mgr on the way out, she was initially defensive and dismissive, stating she was unaware of the issue and the other Mgr was overseeing the kitchen. Neither manager was seen in the dining area throughout dinner, 6 tables were seated when we left. Purchased a bottle of wine, after the initial small pour, server did not pour any more into our glasses. Server was friendly, but service was very slow and not 1 need was anticipated. Very disappointing experience.
Duck was fatty and tasteless.
We enjoyed the food and level of service. It was noisy and chilly in the barrel room, though.
They seated us in the barrel room which was cold and noisy but the food was delicious and the service was very good. We will go back when the weather is warmer and hopefully get to sit outside. Highly recommend their food!
Friends went together. Ponte was absolutely wonderful. We sat in the Barrel Room which was a plus. It was delightful. Food very good. Service so nice.
I will go back again soon I Hope.
The food is delicious, waitstaff courteous and knowledgeable, and the ambiance is delightful at Ponte.
We have been here twice before and loved it . (We drive 2 hours) This time the food was disappointing, our mains took a very long time to arrive and the ambiance was nil, as construction was occurring and we were serenaded by metal being pounded. The restaurant should have been closed during remodeling.
Ponte is lovely and a convenient point for two distant friends to meet once a year, but this was not it's best day. The usually pleasant outdoor patio is torn apart, evidently being rebuilt. The small adjacent patio was sometimes overwhelmed by the construction noise, and the overhead heaters couldn't combat the cold breeze. Service by Gilmar was perfect, butternut squash pizza and winter green salad were very good, but not exceptional.
Temporary location in the barrel room was interesting.
Weather was not Ponte’s friend. They used zip ties for sun shades trying to block wind and rain.
Unfortunately wind was strong enough to snap zip ties, not once but twice.
First it hit another table, they reinforced with more zip ties but did not work. The second time the metal pole hit both the first table and our table knocking over eater&wine cups. Good thing my 5yr old son was not sitting where I was or there would have been some serious injuries.
They finally moved us in the rain into the Barrel Room.
Bad planning on Ponte and bad experience for the family and I.
Food, Ambiance, Service, Setting....All Fantastic. We also stayed the night at their inn. Highly recommend for a quick getaway.
They emailed about new winter menu drove down from LA to get some duck it was delicious
Construction remodeling in progress, but we had a very nice lunch. Mushrooms and scallops
were great. Will go back once the construction is over.
Met my sister and brother in law from Minnesota for lunch. We ate outside. The food and service was excellent!!
The ambiance was perfect. Love the wine barrels in the room. Also liked the outdoor seating. Loved you could walk out and enjoy the winery. Wonderful wine flights with the meal! Perfect well done!!
Our past experience here was pleasant.
This time, only one of us had a good experience.
Our server was cordial and did his best.
One of us had Margherita Pizza. It
was appealing to the eye and had fresh and delicious flavor.
The other of us ordered the lamb burger. Do not make that mistake.
It was delivered stone cold. It was biege and did not resemble any meat I have ever eaten. I sent it back. The next one was hot, just
the same color. Biege. No sign of
meat. Was it all filler? I will never know. The bun was rock hard and inedible. I think it was supposed to be ciabatta. Could not cut it even with cerrated knife. AWFUL.
The restaurant is undergoing renovations. We would have rated our lunch five stars, except for the construction taking place which was a bit noisy. In addition, the views were blocked by construction barricades. Otherwise, the food was excellent.
Barrel room was comfortable even in January. But it is loud.
Food was very good.
Soufflé was exceptional
We just love Ponte! The wine country salad is my favorite!!
Fresh, tasty food and good service.
An amazing restaurant and winery! Best in the Temecula Valley! Delightful outdoor ambiance. Never ever disappointed in either the food or the service. Wine taste before lunch. Enjoy a relaxing lunch, with a glass of wine. Then go back to wine tasting.
Great place to eat a late lunch. Beautiful setting. Good food. We are from Indiana but always eat here if in the area.
Food was delicious and creative. Staff was courteous, helpful, and professional.
Chocolate souffle was delicious. Best part of dinner.
Underdone brussel sprouts and unseasoned, soggy calamari.
Service and the live entertainment was quite good.
This was not our first time eating here, and the food was not as good as in the past.
Went for lunch, sat outside the food was very good a bit pricey but worth it for the ambiance
Always love making a point to experience Ponte when visiting PS. We truly love the experience!!
Just a suggestions for us vegetarians....
The cheese platter was served by someone who could not give us a tour of the wonderful selections on the plate. Only one or two minutes later, our waitress came to us to give us the tour. She explained there was a bacon-cranberry chutney of which I said I am unable to eat meat. I wish I would have known this ahead of time as I had already taken a bite of it. I too could have waited for the tour - guess I was too hungry, so my bad as well. We then ordered the Farmers pizza (after I mentioned I do not eat meat). She didn’t remind us of the fact the pizza is served with pancetta. The pizza was served and I couldn’t eat it. Again, our bad for not rereading all the ingredients on the za. She did check on us after the first few bites and then offered to remake the za without meat after my husband questioned meat on the za. We responded by saying no thank you to her offer, as we should have remembered there was meat on the za and had plenty of things to still eat on the cheese platter.
Anyway, it’s sometimes difficult to work around so many specific ways of eating. We do our best to take care of how we order, but will mess up sometimes. All in all, everything was soooo delicious - the beet soup was exceptional, as was the cheese platter and za. Thank you for all you do. We will surely be back again and continue to tell our friends about Ponte!

Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, guy playing and singing beautiful, soft music, frogs making noise in the background, and service was friendly and prompt. I was extremely happy with our experience.
It would have been better if we visited the restaurant during daylight hours. The nightime was freezing and ambience wasn't that great. The server was very nice and accommodating but she was stretched pretty thin. The food is very overpriced therefore I don't think the value is there. I would recommend for lunch, but not a special occassion birthday dinner.
The food was very good as was the service.
Great experience start to finish..thanks!
Restaurant was spectacular. We went for a friends birthday. The seating was outdoors, it was cold but the staff ensured that we had amble heating. Food was great. We shared a chicken pizza a must have again. The burger was good well cooked and a large portion. Other customer had the calamari, salads and a cheese platter that look good. I am looking forward to returning and trying those options.
Wine room was good. Staff was very knowledgeable about the wines and answered all questions.
Ponte is definitely on my list of wineries to visit when I am in wine country.
our favorite restaurant in Temecula wine country. Best Calamari dish we have had...anywhere! All the food is incredible.
Always the best service, ambiance and winery food in Temecula. We are locals that eat out in Temecula multiple times per week. We love this place.
