The staff was excellent from the hostess through the busser. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful.
Went here with my boyfriend and his mom while she was visiting. We are wine club members and this was the first time we were dining in for dinner. We had no issues making a reservation or getting sat on time, our waitress was very pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was delightful. It was bit of chilly evening, but the heaters were on so we barely even noticed, and the outdoor scenery was just wonderful. We ordered a bottle of wine to split and of course, the Sangiovese did not disappoint. My boyfriend and his mom ordered the Cioppino Calabrese, I ordered the muscles as my meal and we all shared the bread on the table. The herbed bread tasted spectacular but it was cold unfortunately, and would have definitely be even more tasty with if it was heated. The muscles were cooked perfectly and there were plenty bathing in the curry-type sauce. The sauce was perfect for dipping the bread in as well, my only complaint was that there was likely too much fish-sauce used in the recipe as it was reminiscent of some seafood other than muscles. My boyfriend and his mom were very happy with the amount of seafood in their pasta dishes, as there was ample amounts of salmon, muscles, crab, shrimp and sausage! Their only critique was that the flavor got tiring very quickly and seemed to overwhelm the dish. We did not have dessert because nothing caught our eye, but the options did look diverse and creative. We will most certainly be back again for some more delicious wine, fun atmosphere and friendly staff!
This was our third lunch outing to this restaurant. Really like the location and the food. The free bread that they give while you're waiting for lunch was bad! Neither warm nor tasty. Service was not great since they were really busy. Our server was very nice but too busy! Also, the Chardonnay that my husband ordered seemed diluted; he had to switch to beer.
Nice location but pretty pricy
Celebrating my friend's birthday, the food was fantastic, the view is beautiful.. I looove Ponte. Adriana Cuevas
Server was great, food was delicious. Will definitely come again.
Some dishes excellent, both my wifes and my proteins were not cooked properly. Chicken very dry, steak ordered med. Rare was a solid medium. Been here many times, but visits have been less frequent because food quality has declined.
We were looking forward to this dinner. Our table was behind the wall and food tasted as if it had been cooked for hours, dry and lacked flavor.
Our Server was Heidi and she was awesome, so kind and informative of our questions. Lunch was delious, and my husband order the special and it tasted wonderfu. I know because I sneak a taste lol. We love Ponte, and hope that Heidi will be working that day. Coming back for my Husbands Birthday In October. Can’t wait.
Susanna was our waitress today. She was excellent. Food was great, as usual. We had the calamari and wine country salad. Amazing farm to table food.
We came for lunch to celebrate our Mother’s 88 birthday!! She loved it.
We had my birthday lunch here at The Restaurant at Ponte and it was wonderful. Amazing food, beautiful setting, and a very nice relaxing time! Of course the wine is fabulous too!!
Food was good. Service was great. Atmosphere is charming.
My wife and I have loved this place since we first dined here several years ago. We always look forward to our visit and are never disappointed. The patio dining and live guitarist are the ideal setting for us. I seem to always order the special, be it a Rib Eye or Filet, and they are always cooked perfectly to order. The salmon has been the go to order for my wife and it never disappoints.
Chicken pizza with pesto is excellent. Caprese salad uses soft, squishy type of mozzarella. Sort of like a chunky yogurt consistency. Borderline slime-like as my wife commented. Maybe consider the more firm traditional type? Service was professionally civil. Plunking down desert ware and walking away is not necessarily friendly. Would return.
Outdoor restaurant with food intended to pair with their delicious wines. Live music creates a nice ambience for a quiet dinner with friends or a loved one.
Our waitstaff, Ashley, was just wonderful and made us feel special!
Quite a festive place! We loved the bread before dinner. Our server was outstanding, making great recommendations. Since we visit wine country often, we’ll be back!
The service was great from the moment we walked in. Excellent staff and food!
Everything about this dinner was amazing. The food, the atmosphere, the wine, the music. I loved that they had live music, but you could still have conversation without struggling to hear someone talking. I had the special New York steak, it was perfect. The augratin potatoes were the best I have ever had. We ordered an appetizer cheese plate. We had ordered 2 because we had 6 people and wanted to make sure we had enough, because appetizer plates are typically so small. Not this one. We took half of them home. I was very impressed. Will definitely eat here again.
we have been to this restaurant in the past and we were always very pleased. We haven't been there for 6 or more months and were surprised how bad the food was (appetizer, main dish and desert). The bread was the best!
Ponte is located in the vineyards of Temecula. The restaurant is outdoors and even though it was a warm evening, the misters made the temperature very tolerable and pleasant. Dinner began with wine and very ample appetizers. The Burrata salad with reduced balsalmic was excellent. Entrees and deserts were all spectacular as well. We had the duck, meatloaf, shrimp and fish / rice dish with black rice. All great choices. Desert was very generous with the pavolova stealing the show. All great. Will return.
Best restaurant in Temecula Wine Country! Awesome atmosphere, amazing service (even swapped out one of our entrees for another one because it wasn't cooked well, with no charge and no fuss!) and of course, some great wines from Ponte Winery! Just a great place to gather friends, family or a nice date and enjoy the wonderful ambiance of wine country.
We had another wonderful visit. Excellent food, wine, service, and ambiance - even on a scorching hot day. You will love it...
Great atmosphere. Apps and dessert was amazing as well as the wine. Both my husband and my main course was just okay.
Great live music, good foods, pleasant outdoor dining and great service from Cassandra K. Definitely will go back.
Nice outdoor dinning in Temecula wine country. Good service. Would definitely go back!
Was so excited to take hubby to celebrate our anniversary. I had been to restaurant with my friends and we had a great time, so I thought going again would be great the same. It wasn’t. Food was good, but service was not. We were greeted and taken to our table promptly. It was very hot and sunny, so we asked 3 different people to lower the shade. Our server finally did, but we had to clip it to the pole so it wouldn’t constantly hit our table with the light breeze. Server told us she would get us water and bread. We got our one serving of water, but no bread. Hubby and I shared a few appetizers and a pizza. We had to ask for an extra plate several times. We ate and enjoyed our food, but hubby was not impressed and he didn’t tip our server, neither did I because There were only a few tables being used and two different servers. We should have had better service.
Beautiful outdoor seating with misters to help on warmer days.
We could have used more misters since the restaurant is outside and it was 95 degrees. The service was very nice as well as the food. Especially loved the flights!
The staff and ambiance could not have been nicer!
The food fell way short - gave it two chances and both nights the food was very mediocre
It took more than 2 hours for our dinner experience and it was not a good experience at all. We didn't see our waitress for 15 minutes after we sat. Then after ordering our food, it took another 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our food. My lamb tasted like a steak and a poor one at that. Then it took another 15 minutes after asking for the check to receive it. Overall one of the worst dinner experiences of my life.
Very nice, birthday dinner. Food was good.
Makes me happy every time I walk in! I love the ambiance and the food and of course the wine!!! The burger is always a must. Tried the turkey / veggie burger and loved it! The staff are so friendsly and accommodating
We have been here many times and the food has always been excellent. However, this time, although my salmon/couscous fish was tasty, it was overly peppery. The size of the piece of salmon was fine for a lunch , but there could have been slightly more of the couscous etc.
My lunch companion was disappointed in her Wine Country salad with Mahi Mahi. The salad dressing was bland, very few pieces if nut and cranberries and Two small pieces if mandarin orange (tinned ?) and the fish did not have a speck of seasoning on it. She had to send it back and also ask for more salad dressing.
Having said all that, we still enjoy lunch at Ponte and maybe it was just a glitch this time as they were very busy.
Not comfortable. The bread had too much tomato sauce, but pretty. This food was okay but not like the website presented. I’m so sorry I was very disappointed. The food was just okay... not special. The menu is on a napkin... not a good first impression for your prices. I thought there was a view according to your website. Most of the tables don’t seam to have a view. Love the idea of the basket for my purse. The entry to the restaurant and signs are charming .it seem that our server had too many table to attend. We ask him to do something for us and he said he and the cook were too busy... not very diplomatic .
The waiter was great, food was awesome and the food was excellent all within a beautiful setting and view of the winery.
Delicious food! The 4 cheese plate was amazing!
The food and service were very good. The temperature on the patio was very high , but
the outdoor sprinklers were helpful.
