I always wanted to come to this restaurant… unique ambience! So Floridian. if you are in Naples you MUST come!
Our server Mary was wonderful and all the staff was friendly.
The food was excellent with the ahi tuna earning 5 stars
The only complaint we have is that during dinner we would get an occasional smell of sewage that would waft over the outdoor area, evidently from the nearby canal.
Second time here. The food is amazing and the staff works incredibly hard. If you are in a hurry, this is not the place for you. If you don't mind a little wait, take time to enjoy the ambiance you'll be rewarded with a great dining experience.
Cute place, good food and service! We will go back.
Noise level was not bad at all. I am very hard of hearing, but was able to keep up with my tablemates with little difficulty. Alcoholic drinks had a generous pour, much better than 5th Avenues eateries. The crab appetizer was first class, but the clam chowder was a little salty for my tastes. Yes, I will go back.
Great outdoor space! Live music and ambiance of the courtyard are so special. The tuna madagascar was very good. Service was very good. The music was a little loud to have a conversation at table with friends. I had forgotten how much I like this restaurant and will visit again soon.
Food was very good. We both had a chicken dish . Hot, well prepared and very good. Staff seemed untrained. We had a new server who didn’t know much about the dishes. He left us some fried type bread and pink butter. It was very good I just don’t know what it was. It was quiet and we asked to b seated at a little larger table rather than the 2 top up against the cement wall, threw the hostess for a big loop but she was happy to accommodate. It was not busy or I never would have asked. What I did not realize was there are 2 different menus. The casual menu is only served up the two steps in the bar. When I glanced at the menu online I noticed a few sandwiches and burgers that sounded good but I could not get one due to the location of our table. Overall everything was good. First experience. I will go back and try to get the sandwich next time and sit in the upper bar section.
The setting is perfect...so relaxing. The service was above par. The food was delicious. My friends said it was the best meal they have ever had! We had the salmon and chicken dinners.
Great spot, not what you would expect! Great meal.
Our server, Chandler was very nice and attentive.
Dinner was awesome. Other than myself everyone really liked their dinners. I ordered the Curry Chicken. There was nothing wrong with it. Just didn't suit my tastes . My husband thought it was great. Loved our waiter Jerry. Same one we had at Mothers Day Brunch. Real McCaw is just a real fun place with island atmosphere. Love it
Fun place once we were seated. I made the reservation for outside but I guess that wasn’t noted by the restaurant even though they ask when you make the reservation. We were sat at an outside table covered in leaves with bread plates on the table covered in leaves and some dirt. We had to clean off the table ourselves. Other than that mixup and clean up, the place was great. We would go back.
We had a great evening at the Real McCaw. Our server Mary Daly was outstanding. She made great recommendations especially the desert which she samples herself regularly! The background music was perfect. The owner took the time to say a hello even though she was very busy. Great food in a lovely atmosphere !
This is one of the last remaining old Naples establishments. I've been going there for 26 years and I've never had a bad meal. Not your cookie cutter restaurant.
Can’t believe we had not heard of this place before. Our kind of place, kind of Key West Funky. The food was outstanding. I ordered the seared tuna, and receive two large tuna steaks. Far more than I have received in any other restaurant. The tuna was so tender and delicious. My wife had the 3 nut salmon and, once again the portion was huge., and it was delicious. We both agreed they were the best meals we have eaten in a restaurant in years.
Had a great evening sitting outside in the courtyard. Jerry, our server, gave us excellent advice on drinks and food. Perfect spot!
Great food, great atmosphere and music, who could ask for anything more?!
Great food. Great drinks. Great service. Great music.
Great food, atmosphere and music. Waitress personable but slow to take our drink order and then our food order. I recommend you try it!
Our meal was outstanding at the service was excellent. We sat inside and it was lovely!
A gem of a cute Caribbean restaurant. Indoor and outdoor seating. Lovely table settings. Excellent service and fabulous food!
We found this gem by chance and we will definitely be back. The staff was so welcoming and the food was amazing!
Really was hoping to make Mother's Day special with a nice brunch however the service and food were lacking. The Mother's Day offering was limited which I understand however the portions were tiny, especially the salad my Wife ordered. Given there were no options for gluten free besides a salad that is what she chose. When the salad arrived it was like a side salad, had only 3 shrimp and a tiny amount of macadamia nuts with goat cheese. She left hungry..... Was really hoping this restaurant was going to be good....
A bit quiet for Mothers Day Brunch. This has always been a go to for off the beaten path locally owned restaurant. The food was good some parts amazing like the hollandaise, some sub par, like the over cooked poached egg. It was not so busy that the kitchen was overworked on getting the eggs right. The brunch menu was a bit limited, a few more offerings would have been nice. The location and building are old Florida funky which is a great vibe, but could use a little sprucing up. Glad the RM is still there after the past year, we need the locals to survive.
As we drove into the parking lot, we began to wonder if we made the wrong choice in a restaurant. Due to the pandemic, we had outdoor seating. Loved the tablecloths!!! We were seated on metal chairs with seat cushions. Walls were painted bright colors. Vines and trees provided decoration. Our waiter was terrific. Live music was playing. Food was good.
It was a wonderful dining experience, from the hostesses to the server and food runner, service was impeccable. They made my birthday very special. The food is delicious, excellent wine list.
From start to finish excellent service, excellent food.
The clouds of flies were remarkable. Remarkably bad. Every time food showed up a large cloud of horse flies would swarm whatever table was served. It easily ruined the meal. I think the dumpsters must have been near this outdoor seating area.
It’s unfortunate this Key West like restaurant lacks in adequate parking and service. We sat for 20 minutes before we were even approached by Mary. However every table around had other servers (3 total) none of whom even asked if we were taken care of. Mary did the best she could but was running from one end of the restaurant to the other. Once we did order drinks it took another 20 minutes to get them. They were so watered down from sitting at the bar that I took them back to the bar myself to have them remade. We hoped to be wowed by the food to overlook the service. Sadly our small Caesar salad came out on a warm plate with warm lettuce and little dressing. Maybe the main course would be better. They did come out hot 90 minutes after our arrival. My wife’s steak was rare (cold red center) when we asked for medium rare and my shrimp scampi with 5 shrimp was tasteless. I don’t think it had any garlic and the bitter greens were an unexpected addition. I’d say the best bet here is to eat at the bar. Mary did try to save the night with being attentive at the end but it was 9:30pm by then and the place was almost empty. This is the second chance we’ve given them. I doubt they’ll be a third.
Everything was terrific EXCEPT except for the mixed drinks. Maybe new bartender. Very very weak pour. salt on Marguerite’s when requested no salt. No vodka in one of the other drinks. Wines were fine
We love the atmosphere and food here.
Excellent evening with good friends and enjoyed the Kentucky derby.
Food and service was excellent, as were our drinks. Ambiance is beautiful and special.
Sorry but wet ice, erratic service and mediocre food leaves us totally disappointed.
The chicken liver pate as an appetizer was delicious as was as the shrimp cocktail. I had the scallops as my entree and it was good, but a little rich for my taste...but it was still good. The homemade bread / buns are a nice touch and are good with the special butter. Our server (Mary) was very attentive and friendly. The ambiance is fun and quirky. My husband had the porkchop and it was delicious. We enjoy this restaurant and hope that it continues to be successful.
As always Fabulous
It was delicious. Food amazing. Flies attacked and they brought us a cintronella candle It was very helpful
Fun atmosphere. We were there early for dinner so it was pretty quiet. Good food, friendly attentive staff. Would visit again.
