About this restaurant

  • Charming
  • Good for special occasions
  • Neighborhood gem
The Pink Adobe restaurant stands proudly in the heart of Santa Fe's historic Barrio De Analco neighborhood, which is considered the oldest neighborhood in the US. Founded in 1944 by Rosalea Murphy, an artist and social connector, the restaurant takes its name from the rose-colored adobe plastering on the nearly 400-year-old hacienda that serves as its home. This iconic Santa Fe destination at the heart of the Old Santa Fe Trail has been known for its fun, vibrant atmosphere and outstanding cuisine. Some of the famous well-known dishes are still existing such as the Steak Dunnigan, French Onion Soup and Rosalea's French Apple Pie among with new and innovative creations from our Executive Chef Andrew Fox.

A unique gem in Santa Fe. Location is a bit hard to find but building has great charm. Rooms are intimate but i wish it was better lit since reading the menu was a bit of a challenge. But struggles aside- we loved the whole dining experience. Food is what i call Lux New Mexican but it also offer a great selection of steaks. Corn bisque with a popcorn garnish was truly a surprise and a real winner. Do not miss.

Great the only strange thing was only being there an hour they wanted us to move to the bar if we were done eating . Must restaurants allow at least 1 to two hours for dinner .

Best food we’ve had in Santa Fe. Everything was outstanding. The trio of dips and chips were delicious and the chicken enchiladas were perfection. Definitely will go back again.

We dined outside last night, and in spite of windy weather we were given a table protected from the wind. The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful! We enjoyed the meal so much we debated returning tonight! The duck enchiladas were divine!

This was our first time at The Pink Adobe. Our server, Roxana was excellent and very attentive. We both ordered a Silver Coin margarita. Yummy! The atmosphere is warm and cozy, typical of a Santa Fe adobe. We shared a Caesar salad which was plenty for the two of us. Very good. They also serve blue corn cornbread as a starter, also very good. My husband ordered the Plato Mexicano. He said it was overall good, but mild in spice and carne asada very good, The enchilada lacked spice and heat that he normally associates with New Mexican red/green cuisine. Presentation was terrific. I had Duck Confit Enmolada. It was delicious! The mole was not overwhelming and the dish was on a slightly sweet side. Definitely recommend.

Terrible service. Expected much more given price. Made reservations for the patio and arrived 45 minutes early so I could enjoy the Dragon Lounge. I checked in at the hostess stand and was told someone would find me when the table was ready. Keep in mind, there is no one sitting at any of the 12+ tables. Went back to the hostess stand approximately 10 minutes past my original reservation and was told it would be another 15 minutes. I asked why the party of two that just checked in was seated on the patio, and the hostess backtracked and said our table was ready. We were seated at our table, and waited 30 minutes for someone to ask if we wanted anything to drink. Server left and it was another 15 minutes before I stopped someone who appeared to be the manager if we could place our food order. We ordered shishito peppers for an appetizer and bordelaise for the entree. We observed the tables around us being tended to in a timely manner as we waited another 20 minutes for our appetizer to arrive. We were seated without silverware and no one cared to bring it out with the appetizer so I went on a scavenger hunt to find it on my own. I finally asked the manager who was responsible for waiting our table. The manager apologized and acknowledged that our service experience was unacceptable. He offered to comp our meal, which we graciously accepted. Unfortunately, it was another 15 minutes before our entree arrived. I appreciate the manager’s gesture, but the offer wouldn’t have been extended had we not spoke up.

We were not seated until 20 minutes after our reservation time, but after that everything went well. The service was prompt and the food - chicken tinga enchiladas - was excellent.

Love the ambiance but this time both the food and service were disappointing - except for the killer apple pie.
