The Pink Adobe restaurant stands proudly in the heart of Santa Fe's historic Barrio De Analco neighborhood, which is considered the oldest neighborhood in the US. Founded in 1944 by Rosalea Murphy, an artist and social connector, the restaurant takes its name from the rose-colored adobe plastering on the nearly 400-year-old hacienda that serves as its home. This iconic Santa Fe destination at the heart of the Old Santa Fe Trail has been known for its fun, vibrant atmosphere and outstanding cuisine. Some of the famous well-known dishes are still existing such as the Steak Dunnigan, French Onion Soup and Hot Apple Pie among with new and innovative creations from our Executive Chef Mario de Leon.

The ambience was perfect. Celebrating our 14th Anniversary. The wait staff was perfect. The food however was very poor. I had the Steak Dunigan, a New York Strip. Requested it be cooked rare and it was. The color was nice on the inside. My first clue this was going to be a bad steak was how hard it was to cut with a steak knife. The experience got worse when I tried to chew it. Oh my. This was the toughest and chewiest steak I ever had. I ended up leaving about two thirds of it behind and filled up on the browned potato which was quite good. I did not send the steak back to the kitchen since it was cooked properly. Just a really bad meat from the supplier if I had to guess. My wife had the salmon which was quite good except the portion was extremely small. If you visit the Pink Adobe, my recommendation would be to steer clear of the red meat.

Excellent food, very pleasant courtyard setting. We had a minor issue with service but the Manager resolved it expeditiously. Highly recommend.

Clams and lamb were both fantastic. Habanerita was good but be cautious it’s very spicy. Very cool building. Overall good pick.

We had a cocktail at the quirky dragons room bar then dinner on the patio. It was fantastic start to finish and the waiter, every service person and the manager were gracious, helpful and giving.

Food was overcooked on one plate and undercooked on another. Service was slow and inattentive. Drinks and food overpriced for the quality.

Lovely venue, especially with outside seating with live music and hanging lights and heaters. Service was very competent and pleasant. Food was tasty with a variety of options.

It saddens me to write this review. I’ve been coming here 20+ years. Was here 2 weeks ago and very different experience. First the service is overworked with tables. The food came finally after 45 mins. The coating on chili relleno was burnt to a crisp. The veggies inside almost raw. The cheese enchiladas had paste like rubber cheese. The carne asada like rubber. MGR came over as it was inedible I switched to French onion soup. It came and a bay leaf was not strained in it whole. Very dangerous for choking and we don’t digest them. Bizarre mistake for Chef. The food was inedible, the service terrible. The waiter finally came back as we were trying to pay and leave. There were tables open. MGR comped the meal which was right to do. We didn’t eat. We left a tip. I see lots of hits and misses in reviews. I hope they fix this-Pink Adobe is a Santa Fe institution where I bring all my guests. Won’t be back till it’s consistent again.

Music was too loud. The pork and mole meal I had was dried out and tough. It tasted as if it had been cooked hours before and left in a warming tray. However, my wife's salmon dish was very good.

We were seated outside, not 10 feet from a loud 3 piece band. I asked for another table and were told that was the only one available for 2 people. We couldn't hear each other talk at all. Steve's Chile relleno was just average he said; my lamb was somewhat meager for the price but flavorful. Altogether it was a disappointing experience though the weather was gorgeous
