The Pewter Mug
This was our first visit, we have lived in Naples for 18yrs. We can’t wait to come back. The prime rib is out of this world. Jeremy is a top notch server, we will request him each time. We never had to ask for anything
My wife and I totally enjoyed the experience at the Pewter Mug. Jamie our waitress was fantastic . Food was was great and will return.
Great time and awesome food. The staff was so nice and the overall ambiance was perfect!
Prime rib was delicious.
Safe handling procedures for the salad bar/everything was fresh.
We love the prime rib here. It was nice to see the great salad bar is back. Our server was very good as well.
Substitution of potato for sauteed spinach was a $2.99 charge. Was not told this when ordering. Salad bar great! Food great!
The beef is top quality here and the service is always excellent.
We went to the Pewter Mug for great prime rib, and got it. Bonuses... steak fries, a great bread, soup and salad bar, and a great server. Outdoor dining a plus !!
We enjoyed bar area for a relaxing drink before dinner. The waitress was very friendly and upbeat. When our guests arrived we were immediately seated in a nice quite booth. The salad bar was amazing as was the soup. Two of us ordered the prime rib. It was outstanding, done just perfectly. One ordered the ribeye, and she said it was outstanding. All in all I would highly recommend the Pewter Mug to all of our friends, and relatives.
We go there often and food and service is always outstanding!
Always good. We went early and it was a bit backed up, but not really inconvenient. There’s no place around with Roast Beef like these guys do it, so it’s always a pleasure to eat here. Escargot appetizer is great, and be sure to pick up a bottle of their Bloody Mary mix on the way out. Good at home all by itself and strong enough to mix with a little water for a Virgin Mary anytime.
Very nice restaurant with good food and good value. Love their salad bar. Service very good and attentive.
The Pewter Mug never disappoints! We have never had a bad experience. Excellent staff and food!
This was our first time eating at the new Pewter Mug. It was as good as we remembered. Prime rib was outstanding. We were happy that the salad bar was open. Everyone who visits the salad bar wears gloves. It was very clean. The wait staff all wear masks. We will definitely be going back.
Salad bar was so fresh and tasty options. Prime rib melts in your mouth. Will definitely go back.
THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS A++...SALAD WAS WAS SAFE AND DELICIOUS
Good meal with good service.
I've been going there for years (both old and new place). Will DEFINITELY go there again.
Nice evening but the french onion soup was all
Liquid without any onions.
First time to the new location. Food was excellent and fairly priced. First salad bar we’ve seen in over a year - and they handled it exceptionally well, requiring masks and gloves at each station. For diners not comfortable with the salad bar they provided an additional salad menu for each person’s selection. Server Jeremy was attentive and very good.
Our only negative comment regards the ambiance, as the lighting was overly bright for what approaches a fine dining menu and experience. We requested lighting be lowered over our section, but we were advised lights were kept up to assist diners with reading the menu, although it is possible lighting is not sectioned off so unable to provide a more subtle/intimate dining experience. Bordered more on a diner type ambiance.
Overall still a great dinner, and we’re sure to return.
Once again another great steak. Our problem with the Pewter Mug is with the bar. My wife likes a good mixed drink and for some reason, the Pewter Mug lacks a decent bartender. She has had numerous drinks that just don't live up to the billing. This time her French Martini was way too strong. Usually, her complaints are too weak or flavorless but this one came in with the heavy hand. I tasted it and it was strong. This place needs a consistent bartender and some more creative mixed drinks. As Joe Biden would say, Come on man!
Excellent salad bar and ribs
We love it there. Our server, (can’t remember her name, but she makes the creamy horse radish) is always fun, and fun to talk with. Food is real good. A little noisy, but as the place cleared out it got much quieter.
First time visiting Pewter Mug. Read on FB some good reviews. I thought the ambience in the dining room was just okay. Had the NY Strip and didn't feel it was the quality of higher priced steak than other places. Loaded potato that came with it was cold. Waitress was effective but not friendly.
The Prime Rib!!!! I love the it here
Been going to Pewter Mug for 38 years. Still a great place.
It took a while after we sat down for the waitress to come over and take our drink order. We have gone there many times and my husband and I share a dinner. This time the waitress told us if we share she would have to charge us an extra $14.95! So we did not share and I ended up taking home half of my dinner which I hate to do. My chop steak was well done and I ordered it medium rare. Also she forgot to bring my spinach.
Excellent menu selections. My friend and I took advantage of the early bird menu. Both dishes were very good...I had the prime rib. Excellent salad bar and choice of soup. The key lime pie for dessert was excellent.
Hi. Salad bar was excellent. But, my fish was dry. It was served over cold risotto.
Didn’t much like the atmosphere as it was not cozy and more like a cafeteria.
Service was good.
Outstanding prime rib - almost fork tender and cooked to perfection. Salad bar great. Service, as always, spot on.
We sit in the Old Florida Room! We have been going to Pewter Mug for over 25 years! We live in East Naples so we were a little sad when it closed. BUT when they re-opened we did not care how far up it was we would have gone to Ft Myers ! Our waiter was great but he had so many tables that we would have liked to see him more! Not his fault. Looking forward to the next time. Our Son & Daughter-in-law were down from NY for my Birthday! The loved it! We sit in the "OLD" room because the other part is so loud you can't hear yourself talk!
I made reservation online and no table was reserved by us so we were seated at a table by the kitchen door. My stuffed sole was stuffed with something tasteless and mushy - nothing like it used to be. My husbands blackened chicken alfredo was pretty tasteless, too.
Love the outdoor area, very pleasant. Food great, meat cooked exactly as ordered.
Thank goodness Pewter Mug found a way to keep their salad bar. You wear your mask, put on plastic gloves they provide and ENJOY. The choices are all delicious. Make a traditional salad or enjoy the broccoli, pea, pasta, etc. They are all great.
The prime rib, steaks, and sandwiches are wonderful.
This was our first time to the new location. It was great overall. The food was delicious with ample servings. Great salad bar as always. We will return and spread the word!
We requested a table for 6 in the Grill Room because it is quieter, and it was perfect. Excellent attentive but not intrusive service, Heidi. The Soup and Salad Bar are always terrific.
The Prime Rib was served as requested, Rare and it was delicious, as were the Beef Stroganoff and all sides.
Not an inexpensive evening BUT still a Bargain and very enjoyable
Outstanding food with an outstanding salad bar. Local favorite.
The food was awesome. Our waitress was attentive. She made us laugh- she figured out that our grandson should be served 2 sodas at a time.
We went for Easter and loved that we could make a reservation to secure our table.
Soups and salads are always crowd pleasers; however, when ordering Prime Ribs, that's always questionable. Many times it's not as tender as it should be. Very disappointing because we truly enjoy dining at Pewter Mug.
Would recommend Pewter Mug to others, but suggest they order something other than the Prime Ribs.
