Best outside Dining experience during Covid.
Nothing has been compromised on both the quality of food nor the creativity and choice.
One of our favorites in town. Great service, relaxing ambience and amazing food.
Great find! Outside seating on a beautiful day was perfect and food was great!
Everything was great, except all the undercooked broccoli stalks in the salad and the rice was a bit burnt tasting. Everything else, especially the quiet, spaciousness, and service was fantastic. thank you.
Delicious food. Felt well taken care of and safe.
We are regulars for bar dining, and this was our first dine-in experience, post-COVID closure. The reservation system was a breeze, check-in for patio dining easy and plenty safe, and the food was excellent... even as leftovers due to over-eager ordering!
As always ... Delicious food from a wonderful menu. Great service. Our go-to restaurant when we want to dine out for special occasions or just when we don't want to cook.
Great food and excellent service!
We enjoyed a very nice family dinner as a result of excellent service provided by Joe. Most entrees were
very well prepared and delicious, with one exception. The lamb shank needed more of the chef's attention than it received. I look forward to ordering my favorite, the lamb, again and finding it "falling off the bone",
moist and delicious.
Great time for Valentines Day
James is the ultimate host who makes sure that the
operations of the restaurant run smoothly timely and with the precision of a fine tuned operation.
The selection of the price fix menu was balanced and superb with the lamb and fish as an excellent choice.
When we arrived the restaurant was mostly empty, but when the other tables filled up , it became a llittle noisy. Food, service, value were outstanding. We will return.
We always enjoy the excellent food and service at the North End @ 4580.
Only place in town with the best GF beer (Omission Lager, IPA)! Great staff, ambience (dining room is always quiet, bar area a little more lively- but you can always carry on a conversation.) 4580 salad with (non GF) fried capers is awesome (can add yummy scallops, but lots of choices). Saag soup is delicious. Lots of options, but I’m a picky eater. Solid go-to restaurant and staff to love.
It was a special menu for New Year’s Eve. My husband and
I ordered different apps and entrees and both were excellent and
Worth the cost. My husband opted for the wine pairings and he
Was pleased with the wines for each course. Great dining experience!
It was Christmas Eve and we had a lovely meal. Dined on scallops and lamb shank for entrees. Service was crisp and professional with James the owner always about to insure that all aspects were working together.
Love the server “Connor” !
Food were excellent too!
The salmon was delicious and the restaurant was not noisy like most of the Boulder restaurants.
my last visit was at lunch and it was very quiet. food and service was great. hit or miss with noise at other times but still it is quieter than many other places.
I had to go home and eat a a real dinner. After spending $85 I like to feel moderately full!
The First Bite promotion brought us in for our first visit, driving down from Fort Collins. The ambiance was cozy, but the place started to get a little loud as it filled up. Our server was excellent - both personable and professional - and our host was gracious. The food was tasty, and a good value with First Bite. And my wife was happy to find gluten-free options. But although I realize that it was a special prix fixe menu, the portion size was pretty small on a couple of the items: particularly the potato "skins" that turned out to be two quarter pieces of one potato skin, and the trout amandine which was one half of a very small trout. We will probably stop in again, but expect to pay more for a real meal.
Super great service. Good quality ingredients. Entree portion was small, even for an upscale restaurant.
Went here for First Bite Boulder restaurant week and was not disappointed! Dishes were delicious, with great flavor and cooked well. Wine pairings complimented the food nicely. Our server was friendly and prompt and the overall environment was wonderful. Would definitely come back!
Great as usual!!
Fun place and all the food looked good except the First Bite Boulder selections which were not that tasty and very meager portions...not worth the price.
Excellent food and service. Wish there was a better nonalcoholic beer selection (Grüvi IPA is excellent, can get in cans).
I just love the prefix dinner! What an amazing deal for such delicious food! The lasagna was so delicious. I was hoping to take some home but my husband finished mine after demolishing his bison ribs. I love this place!
For us this restaurant was convenient to where we were staying while in Boulder visiting our daughter. It's located in the new and upcoming hip neighborhood of NOBO (North Boulder). Our server was professional, but not the best we have seen. The host was personable and perhaps could have been the owner as we were watching him interact with employees and customers. It's got a nice hip vibe, locals sitting at the bar, and the food was very good. If we ever stay at the same hotel, I'm sure we will go back. It was easier then having to go down to Pearl Street where it is usually so busy.
The food, the service, the ambiance and the value, always top notch here. We love that 4580 is in our neighborhood.
Nice evening with good food and wine. Only criticism is the salad size (they are huge)...and we each ordered one and weren’t able to finish either one.
Excellent food, drinks, and service. Everything is well prepared and presented.
We always have a wonderful experience at 4580. My personal favorite is the salmon but my husband loves the short ribs and my son enjoyed the burger. Everything is delicious and the elderflower martini is the best! Service is outstanding in every way. We'll just keep going back!
Food is fair, at best. Will not return. Decor is nice, but not a reason to go back. No one at our table of four thought their food was anything above average, and that’s being generous.
Amazing quiet for an open bistro atmosphere.
Interesting and varied menu.
Not far from CU if you have wheels and a great place to take parents.
Friendly eatery, talked away on the north end of town. Simple, well cooked dishes. Loved the truffled french fries. Parking is a bonus.
Good service. Above average food. It was quiet, which is a big selling point for me.
Still a favorite, especially outside when the weather's good. Squid in all forms great, risotto was tasty, steak was huge. Wine selection also very fine.
A VEGAN REVIEW. I had the vegan steak and it was amazing. I don’t usually want food that tastes like meat, but everything about this was so good. The dish itself wasn’t vegan but the chef was so knowledgeable and full of suggestions on how it could be made so. It’s probably the best tasting vegan dish I’ve ever had in Boulder. My husband, who ordered a real steak, tried mine and was amazed. And imitation meat does not thrill him, ever. And they had a really good mango sorbet for dessert. Also, the quinoa fritters were a really good appetizer! And, the staff was super polite. And, our dog was welcome! Wins all around.
Was good, food was excellent, waiter good at first then got busy with other tables and kind of forgot us. Probably would have had dessert but decided to just get our check and go after waiting on our waiter to long, oh well!
We've had better experiences in the bar than we've had on the traditional table area at 4580. The food is always good, and the menu and drink options are excellent. The happy hour is a great value, but we found out after we were seated that it is not available on the table seating side. We liked the atmosphere on the bar side better anyway, so that's where we'll make sure we land going forward. The service has often been a bit strained in the past, but for the table side at full price, though affable enough, we got little time from our waiter. Still, I recommend the North End at 4580 as a great addition to the north Broadway dining options. We've always had good meals there, and this time we discovered their asparagus kale salad with blue cheese and bacon. It was delicious, and will be a regular item for us going forward. My advise to management would be not to seek to differentiate the offering on the bar side from the table seating side. In truth their is comfortable table seating on the bar side, and it's energy and light from the setting sun is, if anything, more exciting! Thanks to 4580 for hanging in, and providing a bright spot on the north Broadway scene, saving us from the hustle and crush that often comes with weekend downtown dining.
Great food and service. Grilled calamari with pepperoncini was excellent. Bison short ribs tender and flavorful. Staff friendly and informed. One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in several years.
