After 8-and-a-half years we locked our doors for the final time on Friday, July 30th. We thank you for the support over the years and the massive outpouring of blessings over the final days. We always have a wonderful experience at 4580. My personal favorite is the salmon but my husband loves the short ribs and my son enjoyed the burger. Everything is delicious and the elderflower martini is the best! Service is outstanding in every way. We'll just keep going back!

Food is fair, at best. Will not return. Decor is nice, but not a reason to go back. No one at our table of four thought their food was anything above average, and that’s being generous.

Amazing quiet for an open bistro atmosphere. Interesting and varied menu. Not far from CU if you have wheels and a great place to take parents.

Friendly eatery, talked away on the north end of town. Simple, well cooked dishes. Loved the truffled french fries. Parking is a bonus.

Still a favorite, especially outside when the weather's good. Squid in all forms great, risotto was tasty, steak was huge. Wine selection also very fine.

A VEGAN REVIEW. I had the vegan steak and it was amazing. I don’t usually want food that tastes like meat, but everything about this was so good. The dish itself wasn’t vegan but the chef was so knowledgeable and full of suggestions on how it could be made so. It’s probably the best tasting vegan dish I’ve ever had in Boulder. My husband, who ordered a real steak, tried mine and was amazed. And imitation meat does not thrill him, ever. And they had a really good mango sorbet for dessert. Also, the quinoa fritters were a really good appetizer! And, the staff was super polite. And, our dog was welcome! Wins all around.

Was good, food was excellent, waiter good at first then got busy with other tables and kind of forgot us. Probably would have had dessert but decided to just get our check and go after waiting on our waiter to long, oh well!

We've had better experiences in the bar than we've had on the traditional table area at 4580. The food is always good, and the menu and drink options are excellent. The happy hour is a great value, but we found out after we were seated that it is not available on the table seating side. We liked the atmosphere on the bar side better anyway, so that's where we'll make sure we land going forward. The service has often been a bit strained in the past, but for the table side at full price, though affable enough, we got little time from our waiter. Still, I recommend the North End at 4580 as a great addition to the north Broadway dining options. We've always had good meals there, and this time we discovered their asparagus kale salad with blue cheese and bacon. It was delicious, and will be a regular item for us going forward. My advise to management would be not to seek to differentiate the offering on the bar side from the table seating side. In truth their is comfortable table seating on the bar side, and it's energy and light from the setting sun is, if anything, more exciting! Thanks to 4580 for hanging in, and providing a bright spot on the north Broadway scene, saving us from the hustle and crush that often comes with weekend downtown dining.
