Been a few times for the desert. This was our first experience with dinner. We really enjoyed the cheese fondue and Mojo bowl. Our favorite was the lobster and shrimp. We went with our usual for desert, basic chocolate and all the cakes, cookies marsh mellows and bananas to dip. Not a fan of the pineapple pieces. Wish cheese cake was included with tray. However, we were more than satisfied. Our waitress, Bailey, was excellent.
Had a really nice meal and experience at the Melting Pot. Food was really tasty and was very filling for the 4 course meal. Each course was a fantastic and unique culinary experience. The waiter did a very good job explaining the menu, how to cook and eat the food and catered exceptionally to special requests. Suitable for meat eaters and vegetarians alike.
Would definitely recommend to friends and family as a unique experience. Only downside would be the frontage and parking lot wasn’t very appealing and the close spots were taken by adjacent restaurant “valet services (blocked by cones)”.
Great meal with family. Enjoyed the different meats.
10/10 would recommend for dates and special occasions
We love The Melting Pot. The food is delicious, service is great, and the seating is private and romantic.
Great experience! Had a great time with the family!!
Overall good but service was a little slow.
A great way to remember our parents’ fondue craze. The cheese was phenomenal (Wisconsin cheese taste was better than Alpine, but could be thicker), entrees did better in oil, but timing via phone was difficult, and dessert was fun, but overly sweet. Great time for the kids and our friends.
Great experience! Food was wonderful, but the service was amazing. Our waiter took exceptional care of us, going the extra mile to double check all of our food to ensure that it was gluten free. This is important to us because my wife is a celiac and any gluten makes her painfully sick. Having him take her situation seriously and work hard to ensure that she had a trouble-free evening means so much to us.
We always enjoy our experience at the Melting Pot!
It was great. I asked for the touch of romance experience and my girlfriend was speechless on the surprise. Everything was amazing.
My wife and I hadn't been @ Melting Pot in about 4 years since our grandchildren moved out of the house and we took a couple who had done us a great favor out to dinner. The Melting Pot was AS GOOD AS it was remembered from 4 years earlier. Our server [Heron} was EXCELLENT. We plan to return much MUCH SOONER than waiting so long !
Underwhelmed with the quality of the food. Definitely not worth the price.
Best restaurant I’ve ever been too. My girlfriend and I went and loved it!
-Waiter was fantastic when he got to our table
-Food was good
-Manager was good - spoke with him on below issues
-Hostess was irritated and not happy to see us. Zero eye contact. Made us feel unwelcome
-Floor was dirty in several spots leading to our area of tables - expect more from an expensive place
-Sat our table for 10 minutes before anyone came to take our drink orders. Again, this is an expensive place and I expect better
-Incorrect table given - I spoke with reservation person days before to ensure we'd be in a private location...and definitely not near a kitchen entrance. Take a guess where we ended up? You guessed it...near the kitchen.
-To top off the night, they got our bill wrong. And I'm not talking a few bucks...more like $20-30 off.
Came here for dinner on a Saturday dinner, it was frustrating how few times they had available and wanted to go the previous week but I was told there was no seating at the bar. This time was good though. Great food and service
Loved our dinner and our waitress. Only complaint is our dinner lasted 3 hours. It was an easy to pass 3 hrs but ruined our plans for the night.
While quiet, restaurant is dark and you feel like you are in a box. Wines leave much to be desired. Overall, while quality is good I certainly don't feel like you get near the quantity of food to justify the prices.
Celebrated my son's birthday. Food was wonderful and had a great time.
The melting pot is a great spot for a date. My wife and I had our weekly date night here for the second time and we love it every time. They have great cocktails and its just fun to dip food into hot cheese and broth. The dessert is definitely our favorite part, they give you plenty of pieces of food for each course and it's always delicious. We will definitely continue to make our way into Houston to enjoy this place!
The overall experience was good and Caleb is a great waiter
Service was very good. Food was tastey. Ambience plain. Pricing too high
Ver pleasant staff. Would be great with a group. We love the private tables. The food was fresh and tasty.
Most clean.. Respectful... Amazing food and experience... Staff was amazing and helped in all ways.. Will def be bAck
Had a wonderful meal with co-worker/friend on a business trip. Ask for Maurice- he is a wonderful server! This is not just a meal it is an "experience." Definitely not a "fast" meal, it takes time due to the nature of the meal- but so worth it!
We are vegetarian and although they did have many options for us, we did not like the food. The only thing we did enjoy was the bananas foster on the dessert menu. The menu was not explained to us well so we thought we had to order for every person in our group. $140 later for a family of 4 (2 being children), we were disappointed. The server was friendly and attentive.
My wife and I took two of her sisters out to say “thank you for all your help”. And we were waited on by two servers, April and Sapphire.
Sapphire removed our silverware and fondue sticks as soon as we mentioned we were there for Happy Hour, so when it came time to enjoy our cheese fondu I had to request utensils. But she only brought us one tong each, and no napkins or any utensils. So, when our salads came, I had to ask April for utensils and for napkins. Sapphire brought us silverware, but she only brought the small napkins that they use for drinks. Sapphire came across as stingy, and we didn’t like that at all. I love The Melting Pot, but this put a sour taste in my mouth.
We enjoyed a great meal & had an attentive, but not intrusive, server, Jacob. He could tell that we needed minimal directions & that hovering was not required. Jacob was prompt w refilling our water & tea glasses. We enjoyed our dinner date at The Melting Pot, but wish that we had been seated in a section for adults only. It was difficult to carry on conversation with a toddler looking over into our booth & being a bit loud. Next time, maybe I’ll request that.
Our served was fairly new and didn’t explain hardly anything to us. I wouldn’t have noticed if I hadn’t heard the server at the tables across from us explaining everything. Had this been my first experience I would have been lost. The food was excellent. We took a 6 pack of strawberries home with us. The first one I ate was very mushy. I’m afraid to try another. Other than that the experience was wonderful.
My husband and I really enjoyed our date night at The Melting Pot! Our server (I forgot his name) was awesome! Very informative and explained everything thoroughly. It was our first time visiting the restaurant and he made it perfect. We loved our private booth and we’re already looking to visit again.
I would not recommend this restaurant for any occasion. They should train their servers first.
Love this place. I have been a regular here for a while. I love the experience of cooking my own food
Everything as always is top notch!!
Fun and unique!
Favorite restaurant, all of the food was amazing, the server was great, it was such a fun experience. Only problem was there was a group of young girls who were yelling the whole time but there isn't much that dan he done about that. I cannot wait to come back!
Our valentines dinner was wonderful!
Awesome experience with my wife on Valentine’s Day they totally exceeded my expectations
I went on Valentine’s Day. The original time I booked for was pushed for a later time. I arrived 20 minutes early and still wasn’t seated at the time of my reservation. I had to stand in line to check in and wait in a another line against the wall. It was like I was at Chili’s on a busy day with no reservation. Keep in mind I paid a lot of money seeing that it was Valentine’s Day. The meat did not taste fresh, it was a very bad taste. The only part I enjoyed was the Champagne in the beginning and the fruit dish at the end. I choose Melting Pot because I had a better experience on several other occasions. I feel like I wasted almost $300 on a special day, which is my favorite day of the year!
Wasn’t very impressed with this restaurant. We paid $70 per person (2 of us) for Valentines Day which we were not told until after we booked the relation and arrived at the restaurant. Every meal was bite sized pieces and didn’t even taste good. The steak seemed cheap and chewy. We left starving! Very disappointed.
Service was a little rushed. Check brought too soon. Food was excellent.
