Melting Pot continues to be a favorite of my family for special occasions. I'm having more and more trouble justifying the cost for value received. This latest visit, I found the cheese fondue skimpy, not even enough for the dippers we were provided. For the price, another 3/4 cup of cheese would have been nice.
The meats were high quality and the sauces as usual were tasty. I'm especially fond of the green goddess daubed into the mushroom caps, and the angry cocktail sauce for the shrimp.
My biggest problem was that my seat was directly under the HVAC register, and I was cold the whole time. Couple that with the house music system turned up too loud and I didn't really enjoy dinner that much.
Loved the Melting Pot! Very cozy private booth and the food and service was great! Will definitely go again.
Wonderful staff, food is unbelievably good. Staff went above and beyond for me and my family.
They changed the recipe of the classic cheese, but still call it classic. But the kicker is they do not offer oil to cook the entree proteins any longer. Quite a disappointment.
Was seated 35 minutes after our reservations. I understand that it was a busy night but rushing to get us seated and done close to closing was uncomfortable. We were sat in the back which was quiet until the bus staff and other waiters were heard joking and talking loudly while we tried to eat. I understand being understaffed on a busy night is tough but feeling rushed to finish because the staff wanted to go home early felt uneasy. I think based of the limited menu and long wait, we will wait a long time before we go back there.
My husband and I had a excellent time together here after a very stressful week. Our 2 hour reservation flew by! We will definitely be back!
Our server was horrible we didn’t see him fir the first 20 minutes then we finally ordered our drinks and our cheese was out before our drinks probably came by 4 times or less he had a trainee with him that was doing his own thing and helping us better then the original server was then when we were cashing out he blamed the new guy it was ridiculous would have been better off with the trainee
Went here for an anniversary. We were early but staff were welcoming and got a table for us right away. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and helpful but also gave us plenty of space. The stuck in the photo is a Love Martini, very sweet and fruity. We especially enjoyed the Gorgonzola sauce with the meat, and the local flavor of the Hatch Chile cheddar fondue. The complimentary chocolate covered strawberries and the sweet anniversary wish went the extra mile. We'll be back for other special occasions!
Very different experience
Fun time, good food variety, and unique experience just hits the wallet pretty good too
Great as always. One of my favorite date nights. It’s fun, interactive and everything tastes amazing
Highly recommend, always amazing staff, food is amazing, u think that doesn't look like enough but definitely is. It's amazing for date nights too, it's nice and relaxing and ur not rushing anything just enjoy each other and be able to talk. This has been our go to place everytime, absolutely love it, u won't regret it and I think the price is well worth it.
Service was slow, and when we found a long black hair (at least 10 inches) in our meat dish they were so slow to check on us we had to find someone. They did replace the meat dish and said they would discount the meal. They discounted 10% which is unacceptable for a $100 meal. Then we could not get drink refills because they were avoiding us, but we still tipped 20%. We should have left when the hair was discovered especially if they were going to ignore us the rest of the meal. Plus they don't discourage patrons from using timers to disturb your meal. Will never return.
Sadly, I doubt we will return to the Melting Pot. We used to live coming here but this time was an unpleasant experience.
I love The Melting Pot, the fondue is brilliant and I cannot wait until they are able to make it at your table again.
Wonderful. Good stuff.
I took my wife there for a nice dinner without the kids. We were seated at the time of our reservation. We enjoyed a delicious 4 course meal. Our service was attentive but not too attentive. The only issue, although small, is that there were some staining on one of our booth seats. Having children I understand where they likely came from.
I took my youngest out to celebrate the end of elementary school for her. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our waiter, Victor, made sure everything was perfect, and the food was excellent.
Excellent selection of meats! The teriyaki beef was exceptionally delicious!
Party of 4 to celebrate a special occasion. The staff was inviting and the restaurant was comfortable, not too loud, not too quiet. Our waiter was attentive and explained how everything works since it was our first visit. The salads, cheese, breads, steak, seafood, chicken, chocolates and desserts were all very tasty. We'll be back.
The melting pot was great! The waiter gave us complimentary champagne since it was our two year anniversary.
The food was so-so. I don’t think for the money you pay is worth it.
Frozen meat doesn’t cook properly. Out of many items on the pre fixe and only option for holiday dining.
We went to Mother’s Day dinner. We had a two hour time limit. It was a good thing because we didn’t see a waiter for the first 30 minutes, then the food that we did order was either incorrect or we had to asked for it to be sent. The picture is a picture of the California salad that we received. It was lettuce no dressing no fixings just lettuce. It was a very disappointing evening for our Mother’s Day dinner. The restaurant did compass one meal and a bottle of wine but it was disappointing because it was supposed to be our special day.
It's Mothers Day. I took my wife and kids to Melting Pot for the Mothers Day special. It's turned out to be a not-so-great experience. Considering a special menu and a set price for it, the one thing you don't want to hear is "Sorry, we ran out of that". Well, we heard that three (3) times during our meal.
First, they ran out of the dressing for the Caesar salad. But yet, they served it anyway.. dry. After taking a mouthful of dry salad, I told our server that our salads were dry.. and he replied "yea we ran out of dressing". Went to see if he could find any and couldn't so returned with a cup of Ranch. Didn't even offer to bring the optional other salad. I guess he didn't think we'd notice it was dry. So ranch dressing was our only option if we wanted to have a salad.
Next in the main course they ran out of the "Special Pasta" that was to be included on the meats platter. Nope, ran out. Subbed with nothing so I guess we just get to miss that. (But pay for it)
Lastly for Dessert, they brought the platter but as informed once again.... "Sorry we ran out of everything so this is what we had and I can't bring anymore".
Wow. I wanted a special evening for my wife on Mothers Day... and paid nearly $300.00 for the meal... to have several things that "ran out".
Quite a disappointing evening to say the least. Oh by the way.. They had a mandatory 18% gratuity added. Mandatory.
All was well EXCEPT. We were at our table well over 2 hours. I don’t know if they were overrun, Ill prepared, or wait staff was neglectful. Great periods of time lapsed between courses.
The food and theme were quite pleasing though so I will give them another try.
It just seems that if one has a limited set menu for a special day (Mother’s Day) the operation should run a little more smoothly. Especially since they don’t actually cook anything.
They were understaffed.
Our waiter was courteous and tried his hardest to stay up with the demand.
Only had to wait a few minutes upon arrival of reservation time to be seated, seating was quiet and intimate, service was good, never had to wait for next course and at the same time didn’t feel rushed to finish the meal. Food was excellent, just a little pricey. Good place for dates or special occasions.
The Melting Pot is probably OK for a regular meal, but I wouldn't recommend going there for Mother's Day or holidays. The Menu Prix Fixe was expensive ($50+ per person), so the meal should have been worth it. Service was extremely slow (3 hours total), and they got the appetizer wrong - twice. The infra-red unit at the table was wonky and wouldn't hold temp, so cooking the entree took way too long. On the plus side, the peppered sirloin and dessert course were very tasty.
Service was not at the standard you would expect it to be considering the amount of money you will be spending. The food was just okay and it also was not up expectations set by the price. This was an experience that you can really inlay have once, sadly it was not a great one.
My husband and I love going here! We got engaged here and try to plan our date nights here as often as possible. The food is great and so are the drinks!
The whole night was ruined for many people due to the lack of employees. One person was sick so they did not come in and the remaining skeleton crew slowly grew more panicked making everything super choatic and service super slow. We were pretty understanding in the beginning but later on it was inexcusable. We were one of the last customers there and service was still very slow. We asked for waters repeatedly throughout the night and we did not get any until we left our table to ask a different server. It may have been a one time thing but it was overall not a very good night for my fiance and I who were celebrating our anniversary.
Great time! The service was fantastic and the food came out quickly and was delicious. We will be going back soon!
Cheese fondue then salad then entree broth fondue the. Chocolate. All amazing. Come hungry
First time there. It was a great experience, loved the food and ambiance would go back forsures
Too long waiting. Food was good but too pricy. It’s ok to go once to enjoy the experience but I won’t plan on going back.
Our server was great and the General Manager stopped by our table and checked on us and retrieved plates from our table. Leadership like that goes a long way to exhibit positive customer service.
The restaurant has a lot of management problems. It seemed as though kitchen staff and wait staff were never on the same page nor did they have any wine list. The food is as good as any melting pot location however we were rushed out at 10pm when our entree only came out at 9:50pm. There was no notice that we had to leave so early until the last minute so we were unable to finish the meal and had to take desert to go. The waiter seemed to try very hard throughout the service and deserves praise for his efforts, but the organization and management of this location is terrible.
We really enjoyed the experience! It was definitely worth it!
We celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday and it was the perfect location for a small get-together. The four-piece selection was just right and was delightful. We will be recommending it to our friends and family.
