Our first visit there, everything was excellent with the exception of the boiling of the meat 🥩especially when the table next to us was searing their meat. We were a little thrown off by this part. We will prob just do a 3 course with out the meat, next time.

Thx,
Gwen

My husband and I love to celebrate our anniversary with the Melting Pot. We have celebrated all 18 there. It has always been an awesome experience until this year. Food and drinks where wonderful as usual but this year the service was HORRIBLE. We sat for 15 min before we were even offered water and another 15 to get our drinks. That was the story all evening....waiting and waiting for service. She would just dump our food and run. We asked for additional veggies and sauces and she never brought them. Then brought us the wrong chocolate and never came back to our table so we could tell her and get the correct one. Usually a manager comes by the tables but we never saw one. They also have changed the menu and no longer have the Fondue for 2 option so ordering was wonky and confusing to make sure we got enough food. Unfortunately, it wasn't as much food as in prior years and we left still hungry with a $200 bill. We will try again next year and hope for better results. I hope it was just a bad night and not the new norm.

I love this place it’s so unique and fun.
The main problem I had though was that there was no toilet paper or paper towels in the women’s stalls. I had to get creative with some of the toilet seat covers. Ewww

Nate was an excellent server and made the experience fun and easy.
The price is way too high to become a regular customer, however.

We have been to the Melting Pot many times. However between the meat course leaving our table and receiving our chocolate and hour passed. What’s more is he took our chocolate order while we were still eating so I think he put in the order so our chocolate was solid and cold when it came to the table.

Service was absolutely awful. We were some of the only people in the restaurant and the waitress never refilled drinks and was rude. Very glad you make your own food there!

Our server was very busy from what she said and she didn’t care even after we told her it was our anniversary. We were there for 1hour without any food. We ordered bacon and brie cheese and she came to prepare it after adding a lot of wine she realized it’s not enough water so she went and changed the pot with cold water, came back with double wine to “melt the cheese”, when finally the second pot started boiling of course the cheese had no other taste than wine, it was so bad. After about 15minutes she came back to ask how is it and that’s when she decided to remake it, but we just left. Unfortunately we will never go back there. This was the worst experience.

Melting Pot was wonderful. We love it for special occasions.
However I seem to have an issue with Open Table. This review is for a party of 1. I got an email while we were at dinner that I missed my reservation for 1. I never confirmed a party of 1 for 5:15 on the 2nd, only for a party of 4 at 5:15 on the 2nd. May not use open table again, we’ll see.

First time to this resto. The waitress was excellent in all her explanations on what was going into the pot.
The cheese fondue was not as sharp as I prefer and the sides that accompany the meat were meager
(we were 3 and the portions were for 2). Chocolate desserts were good save for one w/peanut butter
which over powered the chocolate.

Caveat: One must order all 4 courses for $46.75

Our family of 4 went to The Melting Pot for Christmas Eve. The food was awesome, the service was great, and we had a wonderful time. It is a bit on the expensive side, but you definitely get large portions and leave satisfied. Loved the cranberry mule!

The food was exceptional however we waited a long time for service after being seated. We were seated at approx 645pm and didn’t get our last course until approx 9pm. I have been to several melting pots in various locations and this one is by far the noisiest and provided the worst service. We won’t be returning to the ABQ franchise.

We eat here about once per month and my daughter always likes to eat here on her birthday. Typically we have reasonably good service. However tonight for my daughter’s 15th birthday, we had a bad cheese and service experience. For some reason the cheddar never turned out right. The server rarely came to our table and made it difficult to address the issue in a timely manner. We tried to make it work with the help of Zo that tried to fix the cheese. It still just never was right. That was the first time we have had that issue. Our server did not bring us refills after asking several times, didn’t check on us, etc. Unfortunately it was not a good experience.

My family have been coming since old town. We celebrate our birthdays around this time. It’s always been great! This time salads were awful, I had to look for our server cuz our cheese pots were burning. We explained we had to leave by a certain time and everything was late!! We know how much time it takes. I think they were seriously understaffed!!!!

Plan on at least 2 hrs to eat here. Very expensive and you have to cook your own food. Say what? The menu is very confusing with all their courses and options. The waiter tried hard and did a good job helping our party out. Too much work and $$. Once was enough.

Upon arrival we were seated promptly for our 430 reservation. The table looked great. Our server was great. The food was pretty good but took a long time to come out. The trouble started when we got our check. There were 5 of us and when the bill came it was $340. Now that would not have been bad except 2 of us ordered the 4 course and 3 the 3 item entre. I asked our waiter if the bill was correct. She went and asked and they said yes. After we paid I started looking at the menu and bill more carefully and it didn't make sense. The items on the menu vs the orices on the receipt didn't seem to match. We were being charged for extra salads, 3 course entre's, fondue, and chocolate fondue. We were also being charged for the chocolate roses we had a birthday coupon for even though we showed the waitress the coupon and was told it would be taken off. All in all we didn't land up leaving till 9 after the manager tried to fix our overpriced food and we landed up missing our show we have tickets for. Turns out We were over charged $160! We have eaten here before and never had this problem. I was quite sad that we wasted so much time and almost got double charged. I hope this fix this issue.

I would not recommend this place for a quick meal, it took us over 2 hours. It was fun and we were not in a hurry. My 15 year old grandson really enjoyed the way the fondues are served. Just two suggestions: 1) a fork would be nice to have for the meats that are too hot to serve straight from the fondue fork. 2) Perhaps something like a small egg timer handy to time the cooking meats/veggies. It was a conversation stopper with everyone looking at their cells phone for cooking times. For a leisurely meal and something new and tasty, I would highly recommend The Melting Pot. The service was great!

This was mine and my boyfriends first time visiting. I had an idea of what to expect because this place was recommended to me by several of my friends and family. What we got far exceeded my expectations! We had a great night! Very romantic for a couple like us. Our server I believe was Amber it Andrea (sorry I’m horrible with names) she was very knowledgeable and helpful, she explained everything to us and how the dining experience would be. She had great suggestions and we appreciated her smile and personality. We will definitely be back!!

We enjoyed our meal, and the server was pleasant and efficient without hovering. We had the brie with bacon cheese fondue; I find we both preferred the classic alpine fondue. For us, the meal was a little more "kid friendly" than we wanted, and as far as I'm concerned, green chili has no place in fondue, but we understand that local businesses have to work with the audience they have.
