Best date night we've had in forever!! Food was great and the service was impeccable. Loved the ambience, and our server was the best. Thanks for a memorable evening.
Horrible food, way overpriced. The server was amazing but the food has horrific. I will never go there again and will warn my friends and family to stay away. I would much rather have eaten McDonald’s... and I HATE fast food.
Had reservations for 630p. Arrived early (610p) stood in lobby until 617 before someone acknowledged us. We were seated and did not see anyone until 630p. Server was nice but felt they were trying to over compensate. Meal was good. Once dessert was served never saw our server after that. Really disappointed since it was my husbands first time there ☹️
I understand it’s not a fast food place but from start to dessert was 3.5 hrs. It wasn’t even a busy night. Kids started to get wrestless. Also, saw the FB ad about the Veterans Day special; indicated that 3 vets were going to dinner when I made the reservations but the server knew nothing about the special. Needless to say, we didn’t leave with the promised “Patriot Stawberries.” The staff needs to be more aware of the specials.
Very disappointed by the food, service and drinks. For what we paid I was not satisfied. The restrooms were absolutely disgusting. Server apologized multiple times per course, may have been relatively new but was kind and polite. Would not return ever. Food was over priced and very minimal proportions, except for bread, fillers during appetizer course. Will not recommend.
The 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our experience at 3:00pm on a Sunday afternoon. We loved that it was fairly uncrowded and quiet. The service was fast and very cordial. The food was terrific and we told our relatives to hurry there as well!
The service was out standing and the food was excellent
They didn’t open in time. We were outside freezing for them to open.. even though we had a reservation. .. the waiter was great, but everything else was not what we expected.. I would not go back...
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. We had rose pedals and champagne glasses for us.
Our server I believe his name was Nate was excellent, our food was good and atmosphere was fine , but for the cost the only thing that was worth the cost was the service .. he was friendly and attentive . I would recommend for a date but i think the pricing is a little high for what you are actually getting .
Great food, great service, well done!!!
I took my sister to dinner. It was yum and she love the experience. Our waiter was wonderful as well.
Took almost three hours to eat. Three of us went, all placed identical orders. Long waits between food courses. Had sodas, difficult to locate waitress to refill. Wasn't busy, don't understand the wait. No hostess present to seat us when we arrived. Had to go looking for someone through restaurant after waiting and no one showing up, had reservations. Very expensive for the lack of service and mediocre ambience.
Table was located in a row that felt like cubicles in a hallway. Could hear but not see people at other tables. There were no decorations. No ambiance. Service was excellent. Food was good especially appetizer and dessert.
The place is consistently very good, and I like that they regularly change the menu options.
Slow service, disorganized. Nice server, but not well trained. Food is always a little “meh” but that just may be the nature of fondue restaurants. 3 hours for a 4 course meal was borderline painful.
Exceptional food, drinks, & service! Thanks Nina! Great for special occasions & date nights. One of our favorite restaurants!
Very Disappointing visit to a longtime favorite restaurant. Service was good; however, all 3 courses of food were not up to expectations, compared to previous experiences at Melting Pot. 1) Salad was VERY overdressed. Small amount of salad swimming in a vinaigrette. 2)Cheese course wasn’t warm enough to melt the chunks of Brie, and was accompanied by a big pile of bread chunks, a few apple bites, 2 small pieces of carrot, and 3 TINY pieces of cauliflower (too small to even stay on the fork when dipped!) 3) Chocolate course never got hot-was luke warm and served with skimpy portions of dippers.
Spoke with Asst Mgr who mostly blamed “the new guy in the kitchen” and offered to discount ticket by 15%. Most likely won’t return to this location, as it felt like an inferior experience that cost far too much for the quality of dinner we received.
Great time. Great service.
Nate was an awesome server. He created a great night.
My family and I had a lovely time for my daughter's 16th birthday. The food was amazing and so was our waiter.
We went on Columbus Day and they were closing early. Our reservation was at 8 pm. Our server was extremely nice but overworked. The food was very good and plentiful. The restaurant was in cleanup and closedown mode with wet floors, etc.
Again our server was a joy!
Came for diner with friends during Balloon Fiesta. We have been great here every visit.
This one was little less. Our waitress was doing her best. She was pretty young and had no experience with the alcoholic drinks and couldn't advise us.
We understood that they were short on staff and that was obvious. Drinks came late, it was a rush over and back to the table. The rush of the staff came down on our company...
Great service as usual , great food , the bad blown speaker cracking music which was a bit annoying
Very nice birthday dinner
Atomosphere and staff were very welcoming, courteous and down the earth, yet professional. Great place. The food was good, but prices I felt were way too high. I
Our server was great!! We were celebrating and everything was perfect
The food was ok, but not what I expected for the price. I was willing to pay the price but I didn't get the quality of food for the money. It was my first time and I had heard great experiences but I didn't do any of the things they did. It was my anniversary and later that night I had the worst stomach ache I think from all the garlic that was included in everything. I didn't think about it until I keep burping and smell garlic all night. I would like to try it again but at another location in another state.
First time visit - tried just dessert menu. The server was extremely pleasant. But beyond this we were NOT impressive at all with the Melting Pot.
Selected the chocolate turtle; extremely expensive for what was presented and absolutely not impressed with the chocolate mixture. Tasted a lot like hersery chocolate syrup with added caramel ice cream topping and a very few honey roasted pecans sprinkled on top. The dipping sides were a poor quality selection (lunch box items: marshmellow treats, brownies, 2 strawberries sliced in quarters, etc) and the portion dippers size were sample bites - literally.
Not sure what I was expecting but now we can say we've tried it and probably will not be returning anytime soon.
Very disappointing. We've been going to the Melting Pot for years - since they were in Old Town - to celebrate our daughters' birthdays. This time, it just felt like it had gone down hill. We were in a room of 6-8 booths and it was very bright and noisy. Our server was harried as she said she had other tables of Homecoming goers. The cheese fondues were good - we had the cheddar and Swiss. We liked the addition of the soft pretzel slices, but they changed the Swiss recipe and it's not as good - no kirschwasser which used to give it a great flavor. The cheddar was tasty though. Our salads were good, but small. But the chocolate was terrible. We ordered the original milk - 6 portions which is approximately $60 worth - and there was possibly 1/4 cup in the pot. It was served cold and had the consistency of Hershey's syrup, definitely not melted chocolate. We had to ask the server to turn the burners on to warm it up. And, we went through our plate of dippers, which are supposed to be endless, in about 4 minutes. When we asked for more we got 4 banana slices, 4 strawberry slices, 2 brownies and 2 blondies - there were 5 of us. Additionally, we noted on the OpenTable reservation that we were celebrating our daughter's birthday. In the past, they've had a card on the table or the server has brought out a chocolate covered strawberry with a candle - this time there was nothing even though we had mentioned it to the server when she first introduced herself. Not even a "Happy birthday" from her when we left. When we're spending $220 for 5 people for cheese, chocolate and salad - no drinks, no meat - we expect more.
The food was delicious, our server was amazing (thank you, Killian!), and the pace of the evening was absolutely perfect. A perfect evening when you're celebrating! We also plan on coming back for post-movie cheese fondue, as that course was so scrumptious and very reasonable when priced alone.
Victor our server was pleasant and professional. Great small talk but not over involved in our time there. Food was great as always. Seems like it’s changed a little bit with the menus and the dippers for the chocolate. I do miss the old way so hopefully it will come back. My wife missed the marshmallows.
Overall, love the experience as always.
Waiter was anazing manager very helpful setting up my birthday bash for up to 12 people in the bar area during happy hour. Made cost very reasonable
Andre and Amanda (I think that was her name) were so amazing! Thanks to them, my family had an unforgettable night with excellent service and outstanding food.
Nice selection of fondues, quiet ambiance, expensive, spotty service. Entrees are delivered to the table uncooked, so be prepared to cook you own if you order one!
We were there to celebrate our anniversary. Our waiter brought us an order of chocolate dipped strawberries on a plate with “Happy Anniversary” on it. He went above and beyond. As always, the food was spectacular. A fantastic place to celebrate any occasion!
This my first visit to Meltong pot. Very enjoyable! Great food. I was disappoint that I was unable to use the remainder of my $75 gift certificate for part of the waiters tip.
This is such a fun experience! They have many selections to choose from from the cheese fondue to the chocolate. The food was extremely fresh and tasty and Kirin our waiter made the evening even more enjoyable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
I'll never go again to waste my anniversary. Why would one drop a bill to cook urself?
This was the perfect place for my wife and I on our first anniversary! We couldn’t be happier. Such a romantic setting. The table covered in rose pedals and a bottle of champagne were just the icing on the cake for such a wonderful way to cap off our first year of marriage. The fondue was fantastic as well and the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly even with us being fondue first timers!!! A night we will always remember. Thank you melting pot!!!
