Service was so slow was at restaurant for almost 3 hours only got one water refill the whorl time
This place was amazing. Relaxing and just what is as a couple needed for an evening away.
Good. Wait staff seemed confused as to who was helping us. Some things just seemed off, burner wasn’t turned on once, ingredients hurriedly tossed into pot, new utensils weren’t offered between courses. Our server appeared to be running between us and something else. Near the end, multiple staff filled drinks, cleared dishes regularly. The final course was brought by the sever as was the check. So overall, it was satisfying; nevertheless, our guest who had never been before didn’t experience the experience.
So disappointing, my boyfriend took me to celebrate my birthday. We worked at melting pot in college and I have been there several times. The food was average, the service was bad. No one greeted us for 10 minutes. When out waitress show up she said what do you want to eat. Forgot to even offer drinks, ask if we were celebrating like they always ask. She bought salads before the cheese. At one point all the drinks were empty on our table the cheese bowl was burning and she couldn’t be found. The manger had to take over our table.
We were sat next to two large patty, one that sound and appear to have never been to a nice restaurant. The rude things they said loudly at dinner ruined my experience.
I will not return to this restaurant.
One of our hangouts. Andre is fantastic so was Johnny whom he was training
The waiters were running around breathing heavy and saying how stressed and busy they were, wasn't very welcoming
I love the experience. The food is amazing and I always get a bottle of wine to enjoy it more.
Everything was awesome except for customers around us that were loud.
We had our reservation set 2 weeks prior. When we got to the restaurant, we were seated immediately. Unlike other times I’ve been to this Melting Pot, we sat and waited for our server for more than 15 minutes. Another server stopped to asked if we’d been helped and while she went to go find out who our server was supposed to be, she immediately took our drink order. When she came back with our drinks, she said she would take care of us so we wouldn’t have to wait for them to locate who was supposed to be our server. If it weren’t for this awesome server to take the initiative, our okay experience would’ve been very unsatisfying.
First course, cheese fondue was brought to our table cold and not melted. Waited a very long extended time for our waitress to come back to our table to send back to heat. Then tried to bring our second course before she brought our first course back to us. Guess she doesn’t under what a coursed meal is. All in all the whole experience and food was only mediocre at best. There are way better choices in Albuquerque, I would suggest picking something else.
Dessert and salad was great. The rest of the food was just ok. My stomach cramped up really bad as soon as dinner was over. I don't think boiling my food is for me.
Great sercice!!! Food was delicious!! I liked the seating spaces, very private.
The manager made us feel very rushed. We were looking forward to a nice relaxing evening after a long week and the manager made us feel very rushe
Very great experience. Love it every time. Food was super fresh and plenty of it. Waitress was super nice. Chocolate was the best. Plenty of choices. Would recommend it for anyone and everyone.
The food was great. We were disappointed that they were sitting at all the tables and no 6 feet social distancing. No paper towels to dry your hands in the women's bathroom.
The music in the restaurant was off and on for our whole dinner, most of the time the music was off which made the atmosphere very lacking, food was great although the cheese fondue was kind of cold when it was brought out.
Not an overall bad time to go. However, the choices available were scarce during our visit. Local beer selection was non-existent. Additionally, food selection was minimal as well. Understandable due to the pandemic and internal seating restriction.
So tasty! I love the whole experience but I wish there were more meat and veggie combos.
I enjoyed the melting pot. It was my first time experiencing fondue and it was better than I expected. I did move my arms more than I’m used to doing at a restaurant but it wasn’t too difficult or annoying. The price is only con in a groups of pros in my opinion. This was a good restaurant overall.
Horrible service. Food smelled sour. Got sick after we ate.
Even with the pandemic, they did a great job of setting a nice mood in their outdoor seating. As always, the food and service were exceptional.
Everyone is afraid of covid yet our waitress actually dropped a few of out vegetables on the table and took it up herself to grab them with her bare hands and put therm back on the plate 🤣🤣🤣
We went for a birthday celebration and had an amazing time! We were given a private room and everything was perfect. Great food and excellent service!
Fun for our little family. They had gluten free options, was such a great!
Great food and nice place to eat
Really was not worth the price
The food was great, the experience was definitely fun and tasty. Our server was friendly and quick and it was a nice quiet place to take your time over a meal to talk and enjoy. The place was very nice but the seating is in these little cubbies that were snug and cozy but maybe a tad small. I understand that you don’t want a huge space, so you don’t have to stretch to get to the fondu pot or your food, but still a little small.
The melting pot is a great experience. My only caveat is the people prepping the dippers weren’t wearing gloves or masks the entire time. My companion is a chef and he was able to look directly into the room from his seat and let us know of the substandard hygienic practices. Ultimately, this didn’t diminish from our dining experience. It’s a great evening of delicious food.
Delightful Birthday dinner Great cubicle style to stay safe during pandemic! Nice and romantic
Was sat next to the kitchen and was very load. Don’t know if the waitress other tables were across the restaurant but seemed like she forget about us. When they brought the cheese to us she did not turn on the burner the cheese was not hot. When we turned on the burner there was no water in the cooker that it just burned. Took a very long time in between courses. We asked for refills of our drinks and she only brought two drinks and left one almost empty.
Was very disappointed in the service quality a fool for how expensive it was. Been to the Melting Pot numerous times and loved it. I know we’re in a pandemic but this service and food was very not the quality that I was expecting from the Melting Pot.
Not sure why the food & service was so bad. We’ve been several times prior to this, but no one ever turned on our burners, the cheese fondu was already made (not at our table) and was cold, all the silverware & prongs were dirty with food, we had to wait & ask several times to have our water refilled, the chocolate fondu came out cold & was not presented table-side. Our dinner took almost 4 hours. We were there for a birthday, but were given what looked like leftover pieces of pastry & other desserts thrown on a plate instead of the chocolate covered strawberries that were promised. There was no manager who came to address any of the issues & nothing was addressed by our waiter. Really disappointing considering we like to frequent the restaurant.
Great experience, as always.
We waited 20 mins before our waiter even saw us and when he finally came to the table he brushed off the fact that it we had been waiting for so long and rushed us throughout the entire process. It kind of felt like he wanted us to hurry up and get out so that he could go home. He also barely checked on us. I usually don’t leave reviews because I don’t like offending anyone but the service he provided was horrible and we felt like we were inconveniencing him by being there.
We went to dinner on a Sunday evening! Got seated right away. My husband is handicapped and the staff was amazing. Lacrisha our server was perfect! She timed everything perfectly as to not rush us! The food and my martini was very very good!
Not rushed and great atmosphere
Absolutely delicious food. Had to wait quite awhile before someone took drink order.
The greeter wasn’t very friendly, but our server was good. The manager came by the table to check on us, that was positive. The ambience was nice, but the problem is that when you cook your own entree i.e., chicken, fish, beef it would be helpful to have a light to make sure you reach your desired temperature. Cell phone light helped. All in all, enjoyed ourselves and my teenage son decided he wasn’t too bad at cooking on the grill.
My husband and I went there for our 37th Wedding Anniversary. Inside was very cozy and the atmosphere was low key, as far as noise level. The Big Dinner for two was great! I loved the cheese fondue especially. It had bacon bits mixed in with the cheeses. The entree had both meat and fish, plus veg. for cooking and several sauces. The chocolate fondue for dessert was really good too, but I wished they could have given us a little larger portion.
My mom and I went to Melting Pot for a belated birthday for her. I just wanted to say how delightful our server Joseph was. He was funny and nice and surprised my mom with a little makeshift birthday cake. He helped make our celebration night a wonderful night!
