Our diverse menu features tapas & paellas, artisan pizzas from our Italian wood-burning oven and fresh seafood just to name a few. We also feature a world-class wine, beer and spirits program beautifully complemented by our signature cocktails.
Was good. Nice spot for a Valentines celebration with friends. Food great. Service even better.
The rice in the paella was a bit dry, lovely other than that!
Four of us ordered a large assortment of tapas and made a dinner of them -- they were excellent, as usual.
Enjoyable dinner during HH. Shared delicious small plates. Split a pasta special - it was ok, not as good as the tapas. Service and value were excellent
The tapas were absolutely incredible and the Happy Hour menu was on-point. Our service was also impeccable and overall we had such a great time! If we hadn’t made a reservation we would have been a bit bummed to have to wait so long (it was a 90 minute wait when we arrived) but with just a little planning ahead we had zero issues.
Great food and wine. Fun atmosphere close to St Julien
Amazing food, excellent, attentive service, and a great atmosphere.
Birthday celebration. It was awesome
Too loud for a not very busy Sunday night.
Food was good and server was good too. He was out of our face which was very appreciated.
Amazing service. Made the reservations on behalf of my parents for a birthday meal, called in to pay for the meal, and the manager made sure they had a phenomenal experience. Great food, reasonably priced, and stellar service. Would definitely recommend for casual meals or a special event!
Manager went out of her way to get us a special table.
It was a nice setting, the waitress was a little to abrupt.
Overall the food and experience was good.
I hadn't been to the Med in a year. This used to be a very good restauarnt. Not any more. The service is still good. However the food is fair to poor and pricey. 20$ for two scallops that were mediocre. The Paella was dry and tasteless. Lamb tasted as if it had been sitting for awhile and was dry.
We had a nice table with 10 guests. We shared so many wonderful tasting tapas & enjoyed our evening.
Granted, it was a busy Saturday night. That said, I think visitors will much prefer lunch here - I know we will be back for lunch but never again for dinner. It was manic in the restaurant. Servers barely stopped at the table as they hurriedly dropped off food. Very loud. Food was really just OK - you could tell everyone was hurrying to get through service. Plating was sloppy. Just "meh" all around. At lunch they do a much better job of presenting nice plates in an enjoyable manner.
The names used to be great and reliable. Now they barely try.
Sad to see an old Boulder gem on its way down hill.
I had a horrible service with experience at this restaurant! It was my birthday and I notified the restaurant before making the reservation and the waitress didn’t wait until after she was slow, mean, and rude to say “sorry I just noticed that there was a note that this is a birthday”. She was rude and extremely slow the entire time. Whenever we asked her for silver wear or more water in our empty classes she was mean and disrespectful. We left satisfied with the taste of the meal but frustrated with our waitress and her utter rudeness, truly that woman was not a nice or personable person that I would never consider hiring.
The food has really gone downhill! Very disappointing
the Med is our go to place , great for date night or Family night. The menu does not disappoint. Order enough tapas and you will not need an entrée. Restaurant is always high energy , if you can score an outside table do it Their patio is delightful.
The mgr Allie is very helpful and professional. Nice experience
We had an amazing meal. It was really great food. I love getting food here. It's the perfect place for a birthday celebration.
Most of the food was bland except for the lamb which was loaded with so much oregano that I couldn’t taste anything else. The waiter was nice; however once a table of people who I assume were his regulars, we barely saw him.
We had the paella - it was delicious and not a long wait.
We were given a tiny, wobbly table that was pressed up against one of the waiters station so one of the three seats at our table was unusable. we had piles of dirty dishes constantly next to us. Very loud music made it hard to have conversation.
Only bummer is no gluten free bread.
Dinner at the Med never disappoints! Date night for me and my husband - the service was great as usual and the food excellent . Best Happy Hour around - we enjoyed the opportunity to start with a leisurely Happy Hour and follow with a lovely dinner . We’ll be back!
Food was absolutely amazing, we had a steak plate and a tuna plate and they were both so good! The dessert was also really good, really good experience!
We've been frequent customers at the Med for years. We were disappointed that, despite our reservation, our restaurant table location request was refused. The area in which we were seated was uncomfortably warm and uncomfortably noisy. We were a party of 4 and there were numerous open tables in a less noisy and much cooler section of the restaurant. Unfortunately our experience was negatively affected.
The food was impeccable and indeed fit the small plate size as stated online. Perfectly done steak, wonderful service, great atmosphere.
Great waiter. Very attentive. Wait for food was perfect!!
Boulder has lots of good restaurants but this is my favorite. We’ve eaten here 30-40 times and never had a bad dish. The bacon wrapped dates are a must.
I love the Med but the eggplant was not good, waitress unattentive . Very poor. I was so dissatisfied for New Year’s Eve.
It was unfortunately.
Positive: Our waiter was kind and attentive.
Bad to mediocre food (hummus grainy, falafel dry, vegetarian entree small and drowning in oil, dessert dry and lacking flavor, coffee bitter)
We love the Med! We have been eating at the Med in Boulder for years and have never had a bad experience. I am vegetarian but my meat-eating husband and I can always find something on the menu that we love.
Great lunch spot, good for foodies, family friendly.
Over crowded with patrons sitting atop one another;
Food has declined significantly since we were there previously;
Noise level made it difficult to hear wait staff and one another;
Service was average;
Overall - disappointing at best.
The chicken parmesan is a lot smaller than it used to be...
Early light dinner. Food prepared well with some exceptions. My soup was supposed to be a squash soup, but it was a tomato soup. Waiter never asked how well I liked it. Bread was terrific. This was my third time and this not as good as previous experience
My husband and I went just for the paella and weren't impressed. It was very dry. We ordered the one with the chicken, chorizo, mussels and shrimp. We were told we can share it, and you could if you wanted to fill up on rice, but there were only 3 or 4 shrimp, 2 mussels, a bit of chorizo, and a small piece of chicken. All the meat/seafood was over cooked. The service was good, and the atmosphere was nice. It's a cute place, I just wasn't happy with what we got. Other food coming out looked good- so maybe we just needed to order something different.
Absolutely fantastic. Great menu selection, plenty of GF and DF options. Something for everyone.
