The Mayfair Chippy is a quintessentially British restaurant with an emphasis on great fish dishes, serving only the freshest produce to the highest standards.
Fish & Chips is the specialty, but we also serve traditional classic British dishes such as our famous Shepherd’s Pie. To complement the fabulous food, we also offer a selection of world wines and retro cocktails.
Located in the heart of Mayfair our independent restaurant boasts 1 AA Rosette, we are also proud to appear in the Michelin Guide 2016.
We are open 7 days a week for Lunch and Dinner.

My friend and I come here as often as we can. The best squid we have ever had and of course fish (we prefer the haddock) and chips. Loaded chips are the best. Consider us regulars.

Maravillosa experiencia. Nos atendió una camarera increíble que se llamaba Laura y ella nos ayudó a escoger la comida! Delicioso Fish & Chips y mejillones!!!

Service was good but food tasted blend. A little over hyped but maybe all fish and chips tasted similar. Wished chips were crispier. Tartar sauce is on par. Portion is enough to share. Overall it was fine.

Very slow service and had our orders mixed with two other tables, and then served both starters same time as the mains in a table that can hardly take two dishes. Squid was bland, prawns were puffy and hardly any taste, main fish and chips was perfect.

Best fish and chips ever! Restaurant is in a popular area right off of Oxford. Restaurant itself is nothing to get excited about…..except for the fish and chips!

Having booked a table , on the basis of multiple Instagram stories, we waited outside for 10 minutes after the booking time, while the staff seemed more concerned with the walk in queue, its cramped inside, and our order was taken promptly, however 20 minutes later our drinks hadn’t arrived - after a prompt they did. We had king prawns and oysters to start, oysters were faultless, but batter on king prawns was so thick, overpowering. staff could be heard talking about shifts ending the whole time, the mains arrived and the fish was delicous but chips very underwhelming - tasteless- the curry sauce is very sweet and the HP gravy nothing special, tartare was nice. However the server who delivered the mains stood over the table and said ‘fork’ implying we should move the cutlery on the table to make space - no please or explanation - and then when I declined to pay the service charge I was met with a ‘why’ - overall the food is ok, doesn’t justify the price on either ambience or service - we won’t be back

Cibo di ottima qualità ma il locale è stretto e sembra quasi un fast food . Non vedono l'ora che ce ne andavamo per liberare il tavolo.Tutti attaccati come sardine per fortuna avevo prenotato altrimenti avrei dovuto fare pure la fila. Un vero peccato . Il cibo era buonissimo e per fortuna siamo stati serviti da una Filippina che tutto sommato quando le ho parlato in lingua si è sciolta . Senza generalizzare ma potrebbero essere più simpatici . Da ritornarci ? Non li mancherò ,lo so, ma proverò altrove.
