We are a classic Kansas City Steakhouse in The Historic Garment District located at 10th & Broadway featuring live Jazz nightly. We are currently offering a solo Jazz Pianist Friday - Tuesday on the Main Floor , Trios are down in the Jazz Supper Club Wednesday - Saturday. All seating requests are based on availability.

                Fabulous anniversary experience, we were greeted with a rose, the waiter was personable and did a great job of explaining the menu and giving suggestions. The wine and food were fabulous: filet was tender and cooked to perfection, scallops were perfect, baked potato large enough to share and salt encrusted. I forgot to mention the homemade rolls with cinnamon butter as an appetizer that were out of this world! To top off the dinner, the restaurant provided us with a complimentary desert for our special day that we were able to take home to enjoy later (because we could not eat another bite). This first trip to the Majestic was wonderful and will not be our last, thank you for making our 34th anniversary so special.

                I expected more entertainment/interaction from the jazz show. You can barely hear them make announcements and that’s with a microphone. Also, it gets really loud because everyone is trying to talk over the music, which is not the point of sitting downstairs.

                An Uber driver recommended this place and said the Jazz Club is really nice. I was able to reserve seating on Open Table without issue. We arrived an hour earlier than our reservation but they were very accommodating and sat us immediately. At 6 the band started and it was really good. Different than New Orleans jazz but really nice, we had a great waitress named Ashley who took care of us the second our glass was empty or we finished a course. If you are looking for historical, quaint dining.. consider this place. $$$$ Nice date night, not for kids though

                My favorite steak house in KC. Great jazz club with music as you dine. I am from out of town and get here to KC once a year and I always make the Majestic a key destination

                I was having a difficult time trying to choose where my husband and I should go for our anniversary, and I’m SO. GLAD. I chose this place! The food was absolutely outstanding. Can’t argue that the prices are pretty expensive, but in my opinion you definitely get what you pay for. Our server was SO incredibly friendly and accommodating. It can be a bit scary to out yourself as a gay couple on your anniversary because you don’t always know how people will treat you. But every single staff member, from the host, to our server, and everyone else, was so warmly welcoming and made us feel very safe and appreciated. This will absolutely be our regular “birthdays/anniversarys/special occasions” restaurant for years to come. Thank you Majestic for a WONDERFUL experience.

                The Majestic is the place to go for steak in the Kansas City area! But it's not just the steak - its also the tremendously tasty sides. ...And the drinks! Great cocktails. Then, if you really want something special - book a table downstairs on a Fri-Sat evening and listen to fantastic jazz while you dine!

                My husband and I always have the best experience when we dine at Majestic. It is our favorite steakhouse in KC. The quality of food, service and music always outshines any other place. Thank you for my rose and glass of champagne for our Anniversary! ❤️
