This time when we were there, they were out of red wines and some liquors( no kettle one). They also did not have a lot of wait staff..Very slow...We also put in a request about a birthday and nothing was done...Might be awhile before going back...

Looking for a place that wasn't part of a chain. This was a place for both visitors and locals. Food was good. Recommend for a nice dinner.

My recent trip to M&M was wonderful. The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. Our waiter was very courteous and attentive. Taking time to take several photos of my family for me. The other staff members were also very friendly and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience. Thank you again M&M, for a wonderful evening!

M & M Restaurant is a very good place for a Before the Show Dinner. We were a bit disappointed in some of what we ordered. The pork chop was overcooked and I don't recommend it. The fish was GREAT and the Oysters were very good. Has a good wine list and beer on tap. we will go back and try to order better next trip.

I had the snapper and my wife had the gruper; both were excellent.

A must stop when in the Galveston area. Happy Hour is a worth the time. We went on a slow night middle of the week. Locals come and go, they seem to know where the bargains are. Our dinner was fine. One minor problem with the lobster bisque, was quickly dealt with by the waiter and owner. I must say the Snapper Diablo was the freshist that I have ever had. Will definelty make a return visit.

We dine here about once a month. Great spot! Excellent Happy Hour. Shrimp dinner is the best on the Island. Easy street parking... Good music on Friday nights...You won't be disappointed.

Nice, romantic and the food was great. Tried the avocado pancake appetizer at the recommendation of our server and it was really good. Steaks were perfectly prepared, side dishes very tasty.

Bad experience for all around. Was lied to about table availability and the waitress was rude. Had to request bread and butter tasted like whip cream.

From the avocado pancake appetizers to the bread pudding dessert, and everything in-between, its all great! Kinda like a pub feeling inside. Dark wood with TVs over the bar. Not obtrusive at all, but a great way to keep an eye on the game and have a tasty meal. Not a tourist destination. It's all locals.

M&M is just a great local place - excellent Snapper diablo, excellent martinis, even a good steak. Acoustic music on weekends. We come down on weekends and it never disappoints. great atmosphere - you don't feel like you are in an open warehouse, which is your fate in some well-known Galveston places...

We love M&M and already have another visit scheduled.

This is the go to place before or after the theater at the grand when we come down from Houston........

This was my fifth visit, and we were seated quickly and served great.

However at the same time a huge party came in and "wham" we were forgotten after our appetizer order was put in. We ate the appetizer and after a long wait, decide to just leave and eat once we made it back to Houston.

Our server was nice, friendly and funny, however he was overwhelmed with a table of 20 or so people and just plain forgot about us. We were not angry or felt insulted at all, we know from our previous visits, that was not normal.

When we asked for the check, he was apologetic and even offered to have a different server take care of us, but by that time we were already planning our order at the restaurant we went to after our drive back to H-town.

Next month we already have plans to stop in before another Musical (Ragtime), so we will see them again soon....we highly recommend M&M.

The avocado pancakes are fantastic.

We had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Galveston. As the owner of 2 restaurants, my wife and I do not throw out great reviews lightly.
