Simple is better, that is our motto. We are an Italin family with a passion for excellent food. We took over The Lavender pub and re-launched it with simple, fresh and high quality Italian food. We use the freshest produce selected by our chefs in Billingsgate market(for fish)and Smithfield (for the meat). We directly import food and wine from Italy.

When we turned up to the restaurant, although they had our booking, they did not have room for us so we had to go elsewhere.

Food, wine and service all excellent and reasonably priced. Quite noisy when we visited, but could have been because it was Christmas party season.

Really enjoyed a family birthday on Saturday evening. The food was interesting and although the first choice of wine we wanted wasn't available the waiter recommended a wine that wasn't 'twice the priced' of our original choice. They also kindly brought a dessert for our adult son as a surprise!! All in all a good evening out. Only slight criticism, I would have preferred it warmer.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and we had a fantastic time! The food was incredible and the staff were attentive and very friendly, we will definitely be coming again. Thank you so much !

Food at the Lavender is always great, however this time we had the 5 course tasting menu - it was truly fantastic Italian food! thoroughly recommended!
