Fine dining awaits you in our intimate dining area. Both indoor & outdoor as well as seating at our premier handcraft bar. Our marble-top bar greets you upon entry, you will find yourself in candle light looking at white linen tables that are positioned on beautiful wood and brick flooring surrounded by bottles of fine Italian wines. The Chef and Owner Samantha Castagnetti brings her city in Northern Italia to you via overnight shipments of imported Italian foods and boast over 40 wines almost all are served by the glass- 14 years and counting.. Come and see what everyone raves about!
Authentic food is an understatement - this is the real thing. Reservations are most welcomed and taken only through OpenTable for parties of 12 or less.

                              The total experience was amazing. From the strawberry, candied pecans with blueberry goat cheese salad to the amazing pasta and the ending espresso crème brûlée! Can’t wait to return!

                              We ate outside on the sidewalk. Great for people watching! Staff were very attentive. Everything was delicious!

                              We invited friends from New York to join us at our favorite restaurant. The food was outstanding. The service was impeccable and our friends loved it thank you to the restaurant and all that served us. We had a wonderful time. Always good to return to the barrel.

                              Firat if all, the food was delicious but apparently they had been extremely busy earlier in the day and were out of half a dozen menu items. Rhe waitstaff was very attentive and pleasant. Our bread and appetizers came out in a reasonable time but our entree took like 45 mins to arrive. They did come to the table once to apologize. My entree was not hot once it was served. Disappointing, but tried to be understanding that they had a busy day. The lobster ravioli and the crab pasta were both delicious. Just caught them on a bad day I guess.

                              Our experience with Italian Barrel was Perfect!! Blake was Fabulous, the Food was Fabulous as was everyone involved. We had a lovely time as we always do when we go there. It’s my favorite place in New Orleans:)
