Everything was outstanding and our waitress was the best. Very attentive and provided us with our every need.
The best food, service ever had. Steaks are off the charts. BBQ shrimp outstanding. Bread was so tasty. Will be returning ASAP!!!
Ken was exceptional and my husband and I were so delighted to have a wonderful dinner experience.
This is the third time I've had dinner at the Great Oak and I'm very happy to say that each time the standards of food and service have been excellent. It really is hard to find great service in Temecula but here you'll find a very high standard of service. You might also be surprised that your waitperson might have been working here for 10+ years! I can only assume that they take great care to train their staff well at Great Oak and it shows.
One thing to remember and appreciate is that although they have a very good wine list, they are more than happy for you to bring your own. I think there is a $20 corkage fee which isn't too bad.
They do not gouge you on the price of cocktails or deserts, in fact, they are very nicely priced.
Whatever you're doing Pechanga, keep doing it!
Victor has been our waiter with Trevon helping him. Great service and such wonderful attitudes. Justin is doing a great job with the employees and customer service. Thank you
I enjoy to invite my family and friends at Great Oak steakhouse. They love delicious foods including good selection of wine list.
This restaurant is one of good atmosphered restaurant.
The veal chop seemed a bit fatty for a center cut and the wait was a bit much. It was Mother's Day so I understand. I'm a frequent customer and was expecting a little better. Overall the experience was good.
Fantastic food and service. Will definitely go again.
Tried the delicious Barbecue Shrimp entree recently added to the menu while hubby ordered the usual, steak. The amuse bouche appetizer and dessert were a very nice touch. Always enjoy our meals at Great Oak. Live an hour and a half away, but cannot wait to return.
Our server Horace was the BEST!!!!
This is our favorite steak house to go to in town.
Best steak I have ever had! Can’t wait until our next visit!
Romantic with great food, great staff and beautiful enviroment
Hard to say if the food or service was better as both were exceptional. Service was top notch and comfortable but informative, and the food was amazing.
Wonderful and delish everytime!
The Great Oak Steakhouse is in the Pechanga Casino. The food was very good and the steaks were done perfectly. Side of corn was exceptional. Very good service. Very reasonable corkage fee.
Our one complaint, and it is significant, was the smell of smoke that permeated the restaurant. Very irritating. They need to move this good restaurant to the new section and away from the smokiest casino I have ever been in.
If you have eaten at high end steak houses in LA, New York or Las Vegas, please do yourself a favor and don’t eat here. This was a steak comparable to the Outback.
Lobster Bisque was not hot, bone marrow was all fat and had no flavor, crab legs were less the warm, drawn butter tasted like oil. When serving the filets the server assured each person got the correct temperatured filet, she was wrong. The person who had the lobster bisque git sick that night and into the next day. We are usually very easy to please, but everything was bad, even the server.
Wonderful place to dine, my second time and 100% will be back.
Had a great time celebrating our 25th anniversary. Our waitress and entire staff were very attentive, friendly and professional and even brought us some samplers to make us feel more special. Service was quick and food was fantastic. Couldn't have hope for more on our day. Definitely will recommend.
Enjoyed another dinner at The Great Oak. Had the usual bone-in ribeye. Cooked and flavored to perfection.
The food and the value were good However we have had much better at Ruth Chris steakhouse in San Diego The service has s lot to be desired. In the beginning we were disappointed in the service, however they noticed our disappointment and they tried a bit harder to make it up to us. It was more the manager assisting us then our actual server which was disappointing They took a very long time to greet us at the table with even water no less the wine list that we actually had to ask for I would recommend this restaurant for a business dinner or just s night out however for a romantic night out or to celebrate with one’s family on a special occasion looking for a special personal experience I would not recommend it. Probably will not return as we will return at Ruth Chris, Morton’s & Born&Raised.
When you go to a steakhouse, you expect excellent steaks and we got them! Cook to perfection per our doneness desires. The Chef sent out an amuse bouche to start us off. The wait staff were very attentive and happy to make recommendations, but they weren't intrusive. The portions were plentiful without being over the top. Very nice selection of steaks and seafood, so my husband opted for a steak / seafood special that included halibut. The delicious baked brie appetizer went well with the bread basket that offered bread crackers, olive loaf and French baguette slices. We finished with a warm apple tart with salted caramel ice cream that had a buttery, flaky crust, along with French press coffee. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the food and overall experience!
We’ve been there twice this year for Birthdays, always a pleasure to go have a delicious meal,
Always a pleasure to dine at Great Oak!
Their daily specials are amazing.... Thank you for your continued 5* service :>
Service was outstanding like always. Food excellent. Always a pleasure to dine there
Service was great out waitress Debbie (I think that was her name) was great. Ordered the bone in ribeye. It was tender on the inside but the exterior appeared to be burnt because it was so black and was lacking in flavor.
Our first time reservation for date night. Marlene, Jared, Marina and Ken were the ones taking care of us.
Marlene was very sweet, happy and cordial. Jared kept our table clean as he cleared off finished dishes. Our water glasses full and a vibrant smile and personality. Hope he is rewarded soon to server. The other tables responded well to his approach and great service. Marina although a brief interaction serving of our food had a sweet smile and kind manners. Ken our server was thoughtful, pleasant, with great communication skills making sure we were happy. Compliments to the chef. The crab cake , filets, lobster soup was out of this world. Was not big on the bread choices. Thank you Justin for returning my call. You were very nice. I Karen needed all the names so I leave no one out. We will be BACK. Ron and Karen Leftige.
Delicious Porterhouse and Pork Chops! Risotto and Brie was sooo tasty also.. great martinis! EVERYTHING GREAT HERE!! Service outstanding.. loved it for my boyfriend's 75th birthday dinner....
We were staying at the Pechanga Resort and Casino, where this restaurant is located, to celebrate my wife's birthday. There was a Bonnie Raitt concert we were attending at the Casino Theatre just steps away. We had a nice booth with exceptional service. My Bone-in Ribeye was fantastic, as was my wife's Lobster Tail. She absolutely loved it, which made me the hero :)
Food and service could not get better, had the special meal and it was fantastic.
The service was good from us getting seated to being service by the waitress. The ambiance was soothing and cozy. The food wasn’t what I expected after reading the reviews and yelping it. It’s pretty pricey for an okay dinner. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place to a friend or family for the price. I would gave it a 3 stars overall.
Great service, excellent food! Will definitely come back again
The service was top notch. My wife had the filet and i had the porterhouse. Her filet was cooked to perfection and th flavor was great. She had it with the Diane Sauce which is a must try. My porter house was cut a little thin an while the taste was ok. I thought it was a little overcooked. Everything else we had was really good and i would definately recommend eating here.
We started with a complimentary amuse-bouche to start, compliments from the chef which was a great touch and absolutely delicious
My wife likes a red wine and I prefer White wine so we compromised on Mount Palomar "Sangiovese Rose" 2013. It was a delicious rosé. Beautiful local vineyard as well. Smooth and fruity with a slightly dry finish.
Their bread basket includes a hard crusted fresh olive bread, as well as thin lavash flatbread crisps that were well seasoned and went perfectly with the wine.
We ordered the Baby Iceberg Wedge salad and had it chopped. The Salad was fresh and the Blue Cheese dressing was delicious. The pancetta crisp was very unique and a great addition.
For our entree we ordered the Filet Mignon USDA PRIME steak. So tender and cooked perfectly. We had it served with Diane sauce - a rich sauce of butter, shallots, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, brown sauce, mushrooms, cream, a splash of cognac, and a hearty dose of black pepper. It was exquisite.
We shared A Baked Potatoes and Sweet Corn with butter / herbs between us
Our server and service assistant make dining here an exceptional dinning experience.
We had great service. The waiter had very good suggestions for wine and food. We really enjoyed our evening. Service was amazing.
Nice place to eat when in Temecula. Not really any steak & seafood places in the area. So aside from eating at the wineries, probably the best dining area in the Temecula Valley.
Service was exceptional!
Over all this restaurant was great!! We will come back definitely!!
Horace our waiter was excellent as was his assistant. Both were diligent and went the extra mile to ensure our meal was perfect
Filet was great but the Alaskan king crab legs (told they were served warm by waiter) were frozen and there was hair in our creamed spinach.
I would eat here again but would avoid the Alaskan king crab legs and creamed spinach.
