At lunch, the tasting menu option ends at 1.45pm.
At dinner the tasting menu option ends at 8.45pm. Reservations booked AT 8.45pm must contact the restaurant direct to PRE ORDER the tasting menu at least 24 hours in advance.

I’ve been coming to the French Table on and off for the last 18 years and it never disappoints. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you feel looked after in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are very professional and knowledgeable yet warm, friendly and approachable. The food is wonderful, tasty, creative and very affordable for the quality and level of skill involved. This isn’t your standard neighbourhood restaurant. It’s way better in so many ways, but it has remained a welcoming, warm, friendly place where locals go and have an amazing and very enjoyable experience. I hope to come back soon and more often than I have since I have moved away from Surbiton.

This is quite simply a superb restaurant. Staff are friendly, efficient and professional. The food without doubt the best in the area. If you haven’t been you are in for a treat.

We had a fantastic dinner at the French Table. It’s unusual for a French restaurant to do a vegetarian tasting menu - which is what we went for - and it was superb. Great service and low noise level despite the restaurant being almost full. We will definitely go back.

Yet another amazing experience at The French Table! We've been a number of times now and were pleasantly surprised that Susie not only remembered us but also our conversation with her and our favourite table. Food was exquisite, service was excellent (thank you Susie) and the atmosphere perfect. Classy, understated and welcoming. Still my favourite fine dining place to go. Every member of staff gives an excellent service!

We love returning to this special restaurant. So much care and passion go into the creation and presentation of the food. Nothing is too much trouble and the restaurant always has a friendly and alluring atmosphere.

Use the French Table for celebration of birthdays and anniversaries and special occasions. It never disappoints. Perfect in every respect. The Welcome is warm and friendly. Drinks served promptly with excellent suggestions. Menu explained and delicious breads served whilst making my mind up. Food service prompt and the food is a picture to behold as well as being delicious. Cannot fault anything about this restaurant and we’re so lucky to have this in our neighbourhood.

Perfect for a special occasion. Such excellent food, service and ambience. We liked the choice between 3 menus, and that there was a vintage menu with wine pairings - we had this and and it was perfect ... excellent food and wine - we especially love the cherry soufflés!!!!! My wife had a wonderfully memorable 50th birthday evening dinner. thank you.
