Took way too long in between courses and wine service. One guest requested salad and Mac and cheese appetizer to be brought out together and she received appetizers first then salad later. Other than that, it was good.

Another great dining experience at this restaurant. Good martinis, my wife had great oysters, and I had a wonderful Caesar salad. We both had rack of lamb which is their best entree in my opinion. Service was excellent.....we had Jeremy as our main waiter. We brought our bottle of wine, which was a terrific complement to the lamb. Enjoyed all aspects of our meal. Highly recommend!

We arrived right when they opened and promptly got a table. Our waiter, James was fantastic throughout the dinner. The entire staff was fast and friendly; they were more than willing to answer any questions we had. The food was incredible! They provided us a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary. It was the perfect place to celebrate our special occassion.

This was our first visit to The Firehouse Restaurant in Sacramento. It was our anniversary We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely diningroom and beautifully set tables with white table cloths. The staff was amazing, professional, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food greatly exceeded our expectations. We did not order appetizers. Instead, we ordered the stawberry rhubarb salad. It was a delightful way to start our dining experience. The chef prepared a delicious chicken and fried wonton bite that was delivered to our table. It's the little things like this that make the experience extra special. Thank you, chef, for this and the wonderful meal! I ordered the pork chop, which came with mashed potatoes, gravy, and a squash dish. The chop was thick, juicy, cooked to perfection, and smothered in a delicious glaze. The squash was amazing, skillfully cooked, and a little crisp just how I like it. My husband ordered the special, which was the halibut. He said he was impressed, and it was excellent. To finsh off our meal, we received a complimentary creme brulee to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered coffee with dessert and even the coffee was delicious. During our meal, I had a lemon drop, and the hubby ordered a berry mocktail. Kudos to the bartender! This entire experience couldn't have been more perfect. The host and wait staff did everything to make this occasion an awesome memory to cherish. Thank you all!

Came here to celebrate our anniversary. The food was good , the service from the kitchen staff when bringing the plates felt a little rushed, but understandable due to it being a Friday night. Our waiter was great he was able to recommend great starters and main dishes . Overall food was amazing!

Such a wonderful fine dining experience at the Firehouse Restaurant last night. Superior service, high quality delicious food, and inspiring ambience. Our server, Andrea Gasparotto (Cert. Sommelier) was friendly, most attentive, and clearly a wine expert. His exceptional service helped make for a most enjoyable evening out!!

Absolutely a fantastic experience. Service was exceptional, food was outstanding, and the setting was over-the-top luxury. The service deserves special mention because it is so rare these days to get very professional European-style service. The amuse bouche was so memorable it should be added to the menu as an appetizer. Our party had the scallops, the duck, a steak, and the pork chop. We all raved over the pork chop and duck as particularly memorable. Desserts were just OK. Our matriarch has been coming to the Firehouse since it opened in 1960 and the rest of us for over 30 years and we all thought this was the best experience yet!
