Great vibe, awful server, cold food. For the amount spent, things just should have been better.

Andre was excellent. Appreciated him asking how much time we had for the experience. We were going to comedy show post dinner and team took that into account.

We enjoyed another sublime dining experience at the Firehouse, this time Easter Brunch. The delicious muffins to start, followed by a delightfully light Braised Prosciutto and Mushrooms. My wife had the Lobster Benedict, the only "downside" being that it was generous enough of a portion to necessitate taking some home! My Filet Mignon and eggs was cooked perfectly medium rare and I enjoyed every bite. The Tuxedo Cake was both of our choice for dessert and it was rich without being cloying and was a perfect endcap to brunch. The staff, as always, were wonderful, professional and courteous. Amanda, our server, was a delight and enhanced our dining experience. We ordered the Firehouse Wine Flight to go with our meal, and she was kind enough to provide a "cheat sheet" so we could tell the different wines apart. We appreciate the time she took to answer our questions about the menu (and the muffins!) and truly, the staff at the Firehouse is one of the reasons we love to return. There are many choices for excellent food, but it is the food combined with a courteous, knowledgable staff (and a very fine wine list!) that, we think, makes the Firehouse unique in the area. Thank you all again for a wonderful mean, and we look forward to our next visit! David and Denise Wolff

Great atmosphere, fantastic wine list & cocktail menu. Food was great, not amazing considering the price point. The soft shell appetizer & blueberry pork belly amazing . The onion & potato soup & buratta and pear salad awesome as well. My husband had the ny strip steak w/ bacon jam he couldn’t even eat it so grizzly. But the taste was good…. Not for 60 bucks. My rack of lamb was delicious & my daughter’s chippino as well. Highly recommend the pear dessert. In all good not great for the 370$ price tag. Service was good not excellent tonight too.

At a estimated cost of $250 for a fine dining experience with two people, we anticipated a memorable evening. The establishment boasted a charming building with an authentic backstory, and our initial impressions were positive—the host was professional, and our server was knowledgeable and pleasant. However, our enjoyment was marred by the unfortunate seating arrangement in a noisy corner next to boisterous, intoxicated patrons. Delving into the menu, a special $125 per person three-course offering caught our attention, featuring a salad, prime rib, and dessert. Despite the hefty price tag, we couldn't discern the value, especially after our recent visit to the House of Prime Rib, where the quality far surpassed what was presented here. The culinary journey continued with the appetizer—a flavorful yet disappointingly minuscule portion of pork belly. The drink selection was limited, offering average concoctions at inflated prices. Transitioning to the main courses, my cioppino was tasty but lacked seafood, while my wife's NY steak was reminiscent of Safeway quality—tough and overcooked, accompanied by lackluster sides including boxed-tasting mashed potatoes. Fortunately, dessert provided a moment of respite, highlighted by a complimentary anniversary creme brulee and a delectable blackberry lemon tart we ordered. Despite the final bill aligning with our expectations at around $225, the overall dining experience failed to meet our standards. Regrettably, we won't be revisiting or recommending the Firehouse Restaurant. As avid diners, we anticipate being won over during our first visit, a sentiment that unfortunately wasn't fulfilled at this establishment.
