The Edge Steakhouse
I absolutely loved them. They were truly the best, thank you for having us.
Amazing! Views, service and food were over the top! Thoroughly enjoyed this dining experience!
We were there for a birthday celebration. The food, the service, and the table were excellent. However, there was a table behind us that had four people who were very very loud and we couldn't have a discussion between ourselves; we were forced to listen to their discussion. It appeared they were Hollywood types and talked about people not caring who heard it. We complained to our servers who were understanding but of course couldn't do anything about it. The noise at the rest of the restaurant was louder than we like, but tolerable. It was the table behind us that was intolerable.
Wonderful, romantic dining experience with incredible view of the valley. Excellent wine list. Great service. My wife and I shared the seafood ceviche, then shared the prime bone in ribeye, with wild mushrooms. All fantastic. Another perfect meal in the valley. We will return.
Excellent food and service. Saturday was a stellar view with the full orange moon over the valley. It is rather pricy but worth special occasions. Seems prices are even much higher than the last time we were there about 15 months ago. Sally is an amazing server and always provides the best in service.
The ceviche was a flavor explosion- delicious. The scallops were perfection.
FYI -Mixed drinks are half the price of a glass of house wine.
Thought it would be a quiet somber environment but it was energetic and bustling with music and conversations.
The Edge is a restaurant with a fabulous view... that's what you're paying for. The food is good, but expensive. The service is the best. We were fortunate to get a window seat on a full moon... it was beautiful.
Note that valet parking is required.
It was a birthday celebration. Our first time to The Edge. Will return absolutely. Gorgeous view. Great service. Our steak marvelous
I looked over all the high end restaurants in the area and decided to choose this one. I chose it for the view. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it since it was dark when we arrived. We arrived at the Ritz and the valet promptly parked our car. As you go in to the Ritz, you will pass straight through their less formal restaurant, go outside and you will see a gorgeous water feature. Pass straight through that and just follow the path to the edge, literally. What a site to behold. The water and fire features really set the mood and when you get to the end, the lights of the valley are just breathtaking. This is what you see from their window tables.
Sometimes when you go to a restaurant that has a view, the food is so-so. Not here! We had Octopus to start with and I am not the type to eat that. It was great! For vegetables, we went with cauliflower and mushrooms. The main course was the Steak Flight with aged tenderloin, rib eye, and New York. Amazing! Then we had apple cinnamon dessert which was stellar. After that they offered us complimentary night cap drinks.
We left feeling pretty magical that night. I used Open Table to reserve it and put in the comments that I really needed a window table for a date night and they made sure we had one. We also made sure to show up earlier than our reservation time. So glad I chose this place.
Excellent service! Great food! Best bone-in Ribeye steak and more! Thanks!
Went for our 45th anniversary. The food and the experience was outstanding! Would do it again tomorrow. Be prepared to pull out your wallet but you will be rewarded with the quality of food and preparation that comes with the fine dining experience.
The stakes were not so impressive even though the prices were exclusive. the waiters were very professional. each portions were big enough for 4 adults to share.
Fantastic food and experience
Food and service was outstanding!!
Beautiful space, outstanding service and VERY over-priced mediocre food. $100 for a steak!
Perfect! Every time we are on Palm Springs this is a must have!
Consistently excellent service and dinning experience.
French onion soup was salty but surf and turf was awesome!!
it was a little louder than what I expected there a kind of slow so make sure you have time and is not in a rush the food is good the service is good and dinner for two will run you at least 225 or higher
Pricey but worth it.
A true gem in in the desert. It's expensive. The good and service is top notch. It's louder than you might expect in a steakhouse at a Ritz Carlton, bordering on rowdy. If you're looking for a quiet romantic spot, this may not be it. But there's a reason you have to reserve a table here well in advance. Food, service, vibe and view are all in abundance here.
Wonderful greeting by the maîtred’. Servers were wonderful. The dinner was delicious. The dessert was adisappointing. Ordered the Granny Smith. They took a traditional American dessert and tried to Ritz it unnecessarily. I would still highly recommend this steak house.
Great dining experience for special occasions
Really overpriced food - which we don’t mine paying for when the quality is there but unfortunately the quality was less than average. $55 salmon that looked like Ian’s tasted like it was previously frozen and a $75 7 ounce filet mignon, really?
Seemed very loud.
Excellent service and food.
The service was fabulous and very solicitous. It was a great evening. The ambiance was elegant and the food was wonderful.
The Edge is such a wonderful place. The food, the service, the view are all exceptional. Yes, it’s expensive, but if all the hospitality extras are important it is worth every penny.
Great food, service, good drinks, great dessert and fantastic view of
Rancho Mirage and Palm Springs Valley below.
The food was very, very good. It was however, the level of service that was spectacular, quite literally from the valet to the resturant manager.
We had a wonderful romantic evening at The Edge Steakhouse. The spectacular views and laid back elegant ambiance made for a fantastic experience. Tatiana was our waitress and she was wonderfully attentive without being intrusive. The entire staff was professional and accommodating. Even the patrons were friendly and joined in wishing us a happy anniversary. It’s an expensive night out, but entirely worth it.
Service is a little slow but the view and food compensate.
Jokingly, asked if my table by the kitchen door which would bang the back of my chair was in place. The maitre d smiled. After being seated at a nice table they moved us to a window location. Gracious staff, amazing food and fabulous views. Get there early to enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace.
We celebrated our anniversary her. Chad remembered us from two years ago. We are from Seattle and are used to “Canlis” level food and service and the Edge completely matched . We are still talking about our wonderful evening!
The food was delicious! And they went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. They even gave us a hand written card from all of the staff to wish us a happy anniversary.
Amazing venue. Sat outside. Great vibe and views with service to match.
My wife and I had a reservation and were looking forward to the dinner. Our expectations were exceeded. Great service, attentive but not over bearing. We couldn't decided which was better the cocktails, wine, steak, salad or sides. All were terrifically prepared and presented. One of our best dinners and we dine out often.
Thank you Rafael and the entire service staff for making the evening that much more enjoyable.
Exceptional food and service. We had the petite filets...great sear and tender inside. Loved the crispy smashed potatoes. Flourless chocolate cake was dreamy! Servers were friendly and attentive.
Service was exceptional! They will add a very personal touch to your dining experience by addressing you by name, remembering the occasion and they will even have each employee personally sign your card ( whether it be a birthday or anniversary). Food was fantastic and the view was beautiful!
We stayed at the Ritz for part of our anniversary weekend and the Edge did not disappoint! Our service was fantastic! Oscar, our bartender, made an espresso martini to die for and the aged Edge Manhattan was so good my husband made us come back the next night before we went out to dinner just so he could have another one. Our waiter, Scott, was phenomenal, recommendations on point. My husband had the rib cap with 4 different sauces (he said it was easily the best cut of steak he can remember) and I had the scallops (literally the best I’ve ever had) and we shared the mac and cheese that we continued to eat for lunch the next day. We would highly recommend the Edge and from a foodie perspective we are very picky.
Add this to the most amazing view and you can’t go wrong!
