Very disappointing visit to the Edge. First, we arrived 30 minutes early on a Wednesday evening, the place was nearly half empty but we were asked to wait at the bar until closer to our reservation. At 10 minutes past our reservation time, I went back to the hostess and we were seated. Now, I did mention to the bartender at the time of our reservation that we should be getting seated any minute...thinking that he would pick up on that and check with the hostess...nope, didn't happen. Once seated, service was adequate, but you don't pay Ritz-Carlton prices for average service. We ordered a bottle of champagne, after finishing our first glass, we sat there for quite a while with empty glasses waiting for the waiter to return and fill them or even the manager who kept walking by. Eventually, we poured our own champagne. Finally, we're dieting and don't eat carbs. We didn't eat the amuse bouche, declined the bread (explained our diet), and picked the croutons out of our salads (waiter brought a plate to put them on). The waiter then brought us a complimentary piece of birthday cake. A very nice gesture, but it was almost comical at this point. It really reinforced that he wasn't even paying attention to what was going on at the table. These are all small things, that would probably go unnoticed somewhere else, but we go to the Ritz-Carlton and pay those prices for a special experience. The service on this visit, from the hostess, to the bartender, to the server just wasn't what we typically experience at a Ritz and certainly didn't justify the premium prices. There are a lot of better options in the valley with better service.

Overall disappointing in that we came for desert and it had apparently sold out. We were primarily disappointed in the Ritz Carlton overall as the valet parking seemed to chase people away and the place was empty

Absolutely fabulous experience. I was greeted with a beautiful smile from Chelsea. Had the best service from Rosa, Destiny, Hope, Rafael, and just all the team in general. Chef Darrell did an absolutely exquisite job with the food. Daniel came and check up on us at our table and made us feel so special. My guest and I were thoroughly impressed. Definitely can’t recommend this place enough. It’s definitely for the first class foodies.

Just another very overpriced steakhouse. Yes it had a view. The waitress was haughty. Her explanation of the menu was not accurate and we felt like she was lecturing about what we should already know and didn’t. The aperitif was yucky. The fall salad was terrible and the chicken Wellington was dry and had a small triangle of puff pastry on the side. Looked like half a Pepperidge Farm square. We didn’t stay for dessert and won’t be back price was absurd. The food served at the ritz Carlton club level was far superior. Our compliments to that Chef and his staff.

The food is exceptional, compliments to the chef. The desserts are not very good, and needs some refreshing. The service needs improvement. Enough excuses about poor service due to COVID. Bring back the classic Ritz Carlton service. I would definitely go back for the amazing Wagyu and truffle potatoes.

Overpriced disingenuous menu promising interesting dishes and delivering mediocre food. Under no circumstances order the Chicken Wellington, a small side of toast instead ofpuff pastry, next to dry chicken

Our table was outside, with a great heater, very quiet and private, which was perfect for our wedding anniversary. The fish was a little small and it was not described well but the taste was great. I cannot say enough about the Wagyu tenderloin, enjoyed every bite. The glass wine of CS and SB were wonderful. We would highly recommend it for a special dinner in this area.

The place is inside the Ritz Carlton and there is no indication on where to go, we had to ask at the hotel reception. The path that led to the restaurant was nicely decorated with lights. We got to the restaurant before our reserved time so we had a drink out on the patio. The drinks are overpriced ($35 for a glass of champagne, $24 for a cocktail). The hostess took us to our table, she was lovely. Once we got to our table, we dealt with three different people (our main waiter, a guy that brought our plates and describes the mises en bouche and another lady that cleared out table) so it was a bit confusing to know who to ask for things. The main waiter seemed annoyed when I told him I just wanted a salad and dessert (no entree). It took forever to get our « bread », it was something super sweet with tons of cinnemon. I ordered some rolls because I did not like it, they provided different bread at no cost so that was nice. My husband ordered the port belly, which was ok but not mind-blowing. Then he ordered the pasta dish which was served before my salad. My husband had almost finished his very tiny pasta dish by the time I had the salad served. The pasta dish was nice but again nothing incredible. My salad was just awful. I ordered the fall salad and the chef went crazy with the nutmeg. It was as if I was eating nutmeg straight out of the spice jar! The dish was supposed to have goat cheese but you could barely taste (probably the cheap kind). The waiter asked if I wanted one more glass of wine but he did not check what wine I was drinking because he got the wrong kind. The other waiter who was supposed to serve us the mises en bouche tried to describe was he was serving and we just could not understand what he was saying. The overall experience was just awful, especially for a restaurant of that standing and with such prices. This place is a joke and I highly advise against it.

Simply fantastic. I've lived in Palm Springs for 20+ years and have been to most high-end restaurants, and this is, by far, the best restaurant in the Coachella Valley. The food is of the highest quality and the service was spot on - Scott, our server, was professional and welcoming and his knowledge of wines was amazing. Don't miss the Rib Cap, the Strawberries and Cream dessert, deconstructed caramelized goat cheesecake, and the BREAD - oh my gosh - I would go back just for the bread! Highly recommend.

The staff was friendly and the service was good, the food was subpar. Our meal commenced with a complementary shot of smoky manhattan, which was lovely. The amuse bouche was a tiny, flavorless blob of I-don’t-know-what. The duck tostada sounded interesting but was very dry and, again, flavorless. I ordered the prime Moyer Farm rib cap, which’s was underwhelming to say the least. For $145 I expect an exceptional steak. My partner had the strip, and had a similar opinion. For sides we had the turnips and apples, which were very good, and the duck fat fries, which were not. They were just bland. Since we’re gluttons for punishment we decided to try the “Taste of Coachella” date cake dessert. This consisted of a couple of stale pieces of cake with more of the same dry crumbs scattered all over. The accompanying gelato was good. This was a $500+ dinner for two without wine and one of the worst meals at any price we’ve had in a while. We’ll stick to State Fare.

What an amazingly wonderful evening and experience! Andrea and the enter team were attentive, professional yet personal. The food was fantastic and great view (all though sunset comes too early this time of year). Can’t say enough about the Edge.

Wonderful evening! Cecelia and the wait staff were excellent in giving us a personal, experience this evening. From the cocktails to the meal to the desert was first class. We ordered the salmon, chicken wellington, mushrooms and fries - all were delicious. We also ordered the date cake for desert. And would highly recommend it.

The staff at the Edge was so kind and friendly. The whole place was beautiful. The food we tried was absolutely delicious. The only one small criticism I would make would be that at night, the inside is brighter than the outside, so the glare slightly diminished the view overlooking the city. I guess in a high end place like that, I would think that would be remedied somehow.

Our experience overall was good. My Kobe Filet was tough, under cooked and had chunks of gristle in it, not something I’m used to getting with fillet. Everything but the meat itself was good, but the steaks are overpriced and not impressive

A must go sort of place. It was an experience that you need to have. Everyone from the valet who walked us back to the restaurant to the servers. First rate!

Went there for our wedding anniversary, the service is second to none! The staff was super welcoming and attentive and did a lot of special things for us to celebrate! Outstanding dining experience at The Edge Steakhouse. Although we didn’t get a table next to the window like we we hoping we were seated where we could look out at the view and seated in nice area of the restaurant. We enjoyed the seafood appetizer and fall salad and our entrees of the ribeye and salmon were delicious. Truly a wonderful evening celebrating my husband’s birthday.

A restaurant in the Ritz Carlton is always going to have some positives & negatives - and that is the core issue. For this kind of high price the steaks were not that good. Fine if you have the money and are staying in the hotel, otherwise don’t do it

My husband and I cane for our 25th anniversary by recommendation. After we had been seated, it took at least 15- 20 minutes before anyone came over to ask us if we would like a drink. When we finally had a waitress , we ordered our drinks that took another 15 minutes to get. My drink was not what I asked for and my waitress argued with me about it! For a $20 drink, I think it should be what I asked for. As the night went on, the service got a little better. Food was just as good as any fine steakhouse. We did get a free desert for our anniversary. Big deal. We are not rushing to go back.

We loved our Server, Eric is amazing. His assistant Hope was all over it. Food was phenomenal. We will certainly be back for more good food and service. Best steak house in Coachella Valley. Thank you for making my Son’s birthday one to remember!

Celebrated my anniversary at this dining establishment and I am so very glad that I did. Raphael and the rest of the waitstaff were amazing and attentive to all of our needs. All of the food we order was magnificent, and they even celebrated our special occasion with a dessert on the house. I would absolutely eat here again should I ever find myself back in this city.
