The Drapers Arms es un bonito pub de la década de 1830 situado en una zona residencial de Islington. Con nuestro ambiente de pub, somos igual de acogedores con quienes vienen a tomar una cerveza y leer el periódico como con los grupos que disfrutan de una comida especial. Si bien ofrecemos un ambiente informal y relajante, nos tomamos la comida, la bebida y el servicio muy en serio. Ofrecemos cervezas cuidadosamente seleccionadas y elaboradas (Harveys Sussex y dos más que se alternan), vinos (18 referencias disponibles por copas), cervezas lager auténticas, licores y refrescos. Nuestros platillos se preparan al instante y nuestra carta cambia cada día y según la temporada. Nuestro objetivo es que nuestra comida sea placentera, sincera y de temporada, además de asequible. Nuestro primer año tuvimos el placer de recibir un 'Bib Gourmand' de Michelin por 'Good food at affordable prices'. En nuestro salón comedor de la planta superior se pueden celebrar bodas, bautizos y fiestas y es una de las mejores opciones de alquiler privado en Londres.

We have an upstairs dining room that can hold around 60 for a drinks party and 45 for a dinner. A variety of drink and dining alternatives are available. We also accept large parties downstairs and cater for many weddings, birthdays and other celebrations every year.

We had a really lovely meal with clients outside. The staff and food were perfect. Only minor downside was the smell of the bins placed in the otherwise quaint outdoor garden :) Will be back! Julie

Fantastic food & atmosphere! Particularly recommend the salads, chicken pie, and lime posset. High ceilings and lovely big windows. Only challenge could be noise level.

We enjoyed our meal here on holiday in London for the most part. The restaurant is quaint, cozy and bustling in a quiet, seemingly upscale residential area. Our appetizers were tasty and the bread very good. We shared the lamb roast, ordered the pork belly, a steak, a pie and a vegetarian stuffed eggplant entree. The roasts were very moist and tender, their accompanying red and white cabbages, tiny carrots and roasted potatoes were in abundance on the plate, but bland and the potatoes a bit dry. Brownie dessert was warm and fine. The service was efficient but a bit uptight. We were an 8 pm booking and it seemed like they were accomodating us but eager to be done. Waitress sighed audibly in relief when I asked for the check. Also reprimanded for talking outside the restaurant while waiting for our Uber (as it disturbs the neighbors), so keep that in mind if you eat here.

I had not been to the Drapers for a good few years. It used to be stylish. Now it feels more like cram them in. Pile food on to a plate that is too small rather than use extra crockery to serve veg in. Our waiter was lovely but the lady who brought the food and relish I think would have rather been somewhere else. I don't think I'll rush back for Sunday lunch might try an evening before I write it off
