    Food has went down hill slightly over the ast few years. Still good food and good service but it’s over priced for the quality now days.

    I had dinner at the crossing with my husband and son to celebrate my son‘s birthday. We have celebrated many special occasions here. The food and service are always outstanding. We did the fourth course tasting menu, which is a fixed price. We were told that we could substitute regular menu items for some of the courses . my son substituted chicken instead of the duck for his main dish and when the bill came, they added an up charge of $17 to the $75 fixed price for chicken! I mentioned this to the waiter and reminded him that he told us that we could substitute regular menu items for the price fix items. His response was that the chicken was a full sized portion instead of the smaller portion that is in the tasting menu, and maybe he should’ve clarified that. The food was absolutely amazing! The chef made me a special dish because I have a dairy allergy that exceeded my expectations. The service was great but this was somewhat disappointing. I will definitely go back to the Crossing but I will definitely make sure that I am aware of added charges.

    Always amazing food and service! I feel very comfortable eating here as there are no seed oils used and the food is mostly organic and farm to table! Yummy!

    Definitely our new favorite restaurant in STL!!! We have been visiting this area and staying in Clayton for many years and someone missed this gem - never again! The way the menu is set up is perfect with the four course menu, and we got to try everything that we wanted, and each dish was better and better! Hamachi crudu, halibut and red snapper were the best we ever had! Excellent service that struck the balance between being totally attentive without being intrusive. Great ambiance and totally charming atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back again!!!
