   Food was delicious. Our server, David, was great. This was our first time dining here, but we met up friends who live in Clayton and this is one of their favorite restaurants.

   Favorites from our personalized tasting menu ~ fresh truffles from Italy on buttery angel hair, crudo with caviar, super delish winter spin on a vieux carre, a _smooth_ (really!) "infinity" negroni, interesting and good paloma Italiano with aperol in addition to grapefruit, sweetbreads, Spanish octopus, tender quail, perfectly cooked (med-rare) hanger steak, coffee gelato, perfectly sized chocolate torte with vanilla gelato and berry coulis, espresso -- basically everything! We were tucked in a cozy corner, there was a birthday card waiting from the owner-chefs for my sweetheart, and a birthday candle with his dessert. We did have to leave half a very boozy house Manhattan on the table to ensure safe driving but we had a lovely evening. Free valet was a welcome touch in the construction zone that is currently Clayton.

   The food at The Crossing is always superb. Everything is made from scratch with excellent ingredients, which is important to me. This restaurant has spoiled me—nothing else comes close (except maybe Acero, of course!)

   Table of 4 had an incredible dining experience. I had the special, a pork chop which was the best I've had in my 50 years on the planet. The food is wow, delicious and impeccably presented. We will definitely be back.

   Had a fantastic dinner at The Crossing with my girlfriend and mother who was in from Europe. We all thought the food was fantastic! Parts of the restaurant can be a little louder with great conversation but we were sat in a back corner which was great! The team that works there have great pride in the restaurant and food - complimentary valet and coat check - great place for an unusually great food experience

    Great place for a birthday celebration. Had tasting menu and wine flight-all excellent. Not sure about chimichurri sauce on meat, but could easily avoid it. Tom gave great service and wine descriptions

    We go to the crossing a lot and love it. Last night was disappointing. The trout was not good. My husband didn’t say anything (I had the other fish and it was fine) but he was underwhelmed and said the fish was not good! 🙁

    Came to St Louis for daughters bday. Wanted to take her out for special dinner. Wish I remembered our servers name. Great service. Got the 4 course meal. Everything was excellent. Bit pricey but for a special occasion. Would come back

    Oh my goodness the cassoulet! So good! We had a fairly subdued mid week dinner out, hoping to avoid crowds. As always the staff at the Crossing were kind and accomodating. I had the cassoulet and my husband had the octopus and a pasta. Best restaurant in St. Louis!
