London’s most glamorous grill room, just a stone's throw from Bond Street station and Selfridges. A sophisticated tribute to the sleek, relaxed, clubby Grill Rooms found in New York in the early 20th century, The Colony has always been loved for its timeless menu of transatlantic favourites, served with a big helping of old-world glamour. With a cosy, sophisticated 1920s Manhattan atmosphere, full of striking murals and artworks and iconic red leather booths, The Colony offers a popular, easy lunch and dinner menu of grill classics: salads, pastas, shellfish, grills and steaks, with a focus on using mainly seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. There is plenty of theatricality too, with dishes such as Cobb Salad, Steak Tartare and Bananas Foster prepared table-side. The wine list is expansive, offering an extensive selection largely from Europe and the United States. The local 'power breakfast' restaurant of choice, the first meal of the day is also a must.

Very pleasant business lunch experience. We had the Halibut and Cod dishes with some sides, which was all cooked to perfection! We were sat in the corner, so away from the noise, which was ideal. Highly recommended and cant wait to go back! Ryan

The new menu is a great improvement and the home made chocolate truffles and fruit jellies were delightful - the very best!

Overall experience, food, menu, service and ambience are all superb. What a clubby London atmosphere should be! We have dined there several times. Bar is equally as good. Well done!

Overall good experience as always, however every time I book this restaurant they are not able to find bookings made over opentable. This seems to be a bigger issue which never gets corrected….
