Rose was the most informative and gracious employee. Our son lives in the Stadium Lofts now and we plan to be back more often.
Very nice setting and friendly people. Food was mediocre at best. Expected a better execution of menu items. Lobster roll was dry. Needed some sort of dressing to help it out, not just the drawn butter that it's served with. Calamari was rubbery, sauce was OK but prefer traditional preparations.
Great food, great service and meal presentation.
Top-notch service from the time we walked in the door until we left. We were seated promptly, and had ample time to enjoy appetizers, drinks and our entrees. Look forward to a return visit soon!
Lovely restaurant. Great ambiance and good food, well presented. Prices were fair for the quality and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Anaheim how is looking for a nice restaurant to dine at.
The food is well prepared; the cooks know what they're doing. Our waiter, Phillip, was efficient and attentive. It's a beautiful place and a refreshing change from big chain fair. My bride had the sea bass which she found delicious. My dry aged NY Strip was delicious, albeit a bit beyond what I would have called medium rare. I didn't complain, as it was delicious and I have no real experience with dry aged beef. It was the perfect end to a Disney day.
The food was great and fulfilling. The service was fast, friendly and ambiance was perfect for Valentines Day.
Service great..just confusion checking in. Thought steak prices were high given it's Anaheim, but service was awesome.
We went to the restaurant before an event at the Honda center. The food, service and ambience were excellent.
Too loud. Poor inattentive service
Excellent service.....great food.....poor parking facilities
We had a party of four, reservation at 6. 2 of our party members arrived 1/2 hour early, so went to the bar to wait and ordered a drink. They told the bartender they would wait on the patio since there was no seating available at the bar. 1/2 later, we were seated. No drinks ever arrived. From there, it went even more downhill. To sum up, service was very slow, and our waitress wasn't friendly. The food was "OK", however I would not recommend the crab cakes, which were basically a ball of mush. we won't be going back
Our table was ready when we arrived. When I let them know our timetable the we’re spot on to make sure we stayed on schedule. Great dinner and great service.
I was a bit worried at first. My friend and I had a 6:30 reservation with a show across the street at 8:00. The people sitting next to us had a 6:00 reservation and had gotten there at 5:50 but at 6:45 their food was still not out (including their appetizers) and no one had taken our order. They complained more than once and finally their food arrived at 7:10, more than an hour after they ordered AND there were empty tables around us. So you can’t blame it on a full house. Thankfully, our food arrived 5 minutes later (order taken at 6:50) and we were all able to get to the show on time. My friend and I each ordered filet mignon, which was very good and we shared the mashed potatoes and corn, both were fairly good. There is no excuse for last nights poor service for the neighboring table but I would be willing to go there again. I’ll just make sure I sit closer to the front and not in a back corner to be forgotten.
The food was absolutely outstanding. I had the sea bass and it was thick and delicious. Our entire table was truly impressed.
Food was very good but one of their main items that provided a special prix fixe style opportunity was not available because they had run out of the swordfish. This was very disappointing and there was not an option to substitute another fish in this arrangement. We were there at 7 pm and because our waiter had not come back to us to take our orders in a timely manner, the last swordfish were taken by others. No substitute or other accommodation or consideration was offered.
Anything you have at this restaurant is always fantastic and personally feel their best entree is the Chilian Sea Bass. The service is outstanding as well.
Great like always! Thanks
Great food and excellent service! Perfect spot to grab a bite before an evening event.
Overall our dinner at The Catch was great. Server, Dillon, was one of the best we've ever had. Very knowledgeable about the entire menu and wine list. Suggested the crab cakes as a starter and we were not disappointed. Their fresh fish selection of swordfish was prepared spot on! Save room for dessert too. A good place to bring friends or family for a special night out.
Most amazing steak we have ever had!!!
We were celebrating a birthday and New Year’s eve.
Food was okay. My steak was a bit undercooked. The service was very slow and just not very attentive.
Overall a good experience however one of our entree’s was not hot when delivered to the table which detracted from both its flavor and our experience. Normally we would have sent it back but we were in a time crunch situation.
Food was fantastic. Dragon Calamari appetizer Chilean Sea Bass for dinner. My mouth is watering just writing this.
Perfect for a nice dinner before an event at The Grove!
Great choice of fresh fish entree’s , service was very good , fish was properly cooked , and the Old Fashions were superb.
Had a great time at our business meeting lunch.
However, my Sea Bass was very thin. It was actually embarrassing because my other guest had the same dish and their Sea Bass portions where excellent. Clam chowder was probably the best I’ve ever eaten. Service was lacking and took way to long to get our meals during lunch time.
Great atmosphere and location but kind of expensive for what you receive. All dinner options come A La Carte and range from $26-$55 dollars. A good steak is around $45 but if you add any accompaniment it's another $9-$15 dollars. Food was good, not great. You receive bread with the meal but it's a single dinner roll and they bring additional rolls one at a time if you desire more. A bit too fancy for me. I'd most likely go back for lunch at the bar instead of dinner in the restaurant.
It was Thanksgiving and this year we couldn’t spend it with our families. I had no desire to cook a big meal for just the 2 of us, so we went to The Catch. They had a full Thanksgiving dinner, with something for everyone , including a chocolate fountain. The food was impeccable, and the service outstanding. Thank you to the staff for coming to work and allowing those of us who could not be with their families and nice place to celebrate.
Always enjoy the Ceviche and lobster bisque. Shared the halibut tonight. Very good. Nice place to go anytime. Food is very consistent and service us always good.
Missed at various points for the expectations I had on a restaurant with this price point.
Flat diet coke (and again)
Fusion food style over done
Expensive but worth it. Good selection of foods. Everything was good and service was good.
The initial impression was poor. From the valet, walked through the door from what might be the patio. Bit confusing. Upon entering, no one greeted us. Then figured we were at the side of the restaurant. We had reservations but was asked to wait while they set up a table. There were empty tables all around so this was strange. Others came in after us and they were seated immediately. After over the time that past when we should be seated, we went back to the greeted. She almost looked a surprised I was there and then remembered or table was ready. Had I not gone back up, no telling how long I would have been waiting.
Sat in a back corner of the restaurant. The noise level for a higher end restaurant was off the charts. I could barely hear my wife over the table. Sounded like a noisy Chinese restaurant.
Up to this point, not impressed. But, our waiter Brando saved the day. Received outstanding service from him. His meal suggestions were helpful and checked on us just the right amount of time.
The food was also delicious. They named the Chilean Sea Bass legendary and I can taste why. Fantastic.
So, experience started out poorly but ended very nicely.
My wife and I will be back again.
The restaurant was beautiful and very spacious. The tables were spaced and not crowded.
The restaurant was OK. The service was good but the food was only OK. It is still old-school in terms of their dishes. The mains were very good while the sides were all fairly heavy. Maybe it was what we ordered?
First time at the Catch , loved our table , we sat next to Dewey Bunnell of the rock band America ! We were going to see them perform across the street at the Grove , they were fabulous! Anyway our service was fantastic but our food was not as I would of hoped , my risotto was not quite cooked and cold and my scallops were to salty ...everything was to salty actually including my chowder, disappointing but I will give it another chance 😎
Very close to the Grove Theater, super convenient. Service was slow, food was ok, Rose wine was terrible.
