Food was great - ate too much! Loved the Key Lime Martinis. Wish there was more outdoor seating available on a beautiful night!

Server was fantastic, food was amazing!
So glad you had a great experience! Hope to see you again soon!
I have not one complaint about our dinner at Pelican Catch. My complaint was with the Hotel in which it is located. We arrived for dinner and I went in to use the ladies room located off of the lobby. I had trouble flushing the toilet. It should have been an "automatic" flush. When we finished dinner before we left the hotel I once again used the same bathroom. I was in a different stall and had the same issue with the toilet. I opened the heavy door to the stall and turned around to make sure the toilet flushed. When I turned around to exit the stall my left arm hit the door and latch and I got a very nasty cut on my arm. I did not have a bandage so I stopped at the Reception desk of the Hotel. A very nice security man approached me and asked if he could help. I showed him my arm and told him how it happened. He offered to get me a bandage and did so. A manager came over and took my info. As of today, no one from the hotel has contacted me to see how I am doing. I have a very nasty looking arm and I feel the Hotel should look into the toilet issues and at least check in on my condition!!!!!!!!!!
We are so sorry to hear this! Your message has been passed on to the appropriate staff members and you will be contacted shortly.
LaToya good server! The black bass was outstanding! Third time there on a 14 day stay, so we liked it !

Hi Jake! Thank you for taking the time to write this review! Our service team greatly appreciates your compliments and we are elated that you had a great experience. Looking forward to seeing you again soon!
Loved the Brussel sprout appetizer. Sea Bass was prepared beautifully. Highly recommend both.
Hi Barbara! Thank you for taking the time to write us a review! Our kitchen crew is delighted to hear that you loved the food and preparations. We will see you again soon!
Two of us had dinner at the Catch this week. Our table was ready when we arrived and the restaurant was quiet at this point. We ordered Caesar salads, the Filet Mignon and Sea Bass. Warm bread was served with butter an oil and it was very good. The salads were dry and average. The steak was cooked well, but was tasteless. The Sea Bass was done well also, but nothing to talk about. Half way through dinner they sat a dinner party of 24 people on top of us. We left. This restaurant is average at best.
We are so sorry that we did not provide the experience you were hoping for during your visit with us. Could you please provide us with an email and phone number so our management team can follow up with you? Thank you for your constructive criticism - without it we wouldn't be able to improve.
Great service. Will be back for the Bloody Mary Bar!
Thank you for taking the time to write this review Jody! We look forward to your next Bloody Mary experience!
We drove over an hour to get there..... my fiancée never got his burger ..... never came to check on us...... tried to charge us for full bill...... then they took burger off and tried to charge us for 3 Bloody Mary...... and then charged us for two and still tried to make it look like we were getting some kind of deal..... we only had 2!!!!!! Wow so sad.....
We are so sorry that you had this experience and that we failed to meet your expectations. If you could please provide us with an email or phone number our management team would personally like to follow up with you. Our sincere apologies this happened.
Food was just ok. Service was slow. We stayed at the hotel so restaurant was convenient but they need to work on their service. Service was very slow and our waiter was nice but he seemed overwhelmed. He also wore latex gloves the entire time. I would personally rather someone use hand sanitizer or wash their hands then wear the same pair of gloves.
Hi Becky - thank you for taking the time to provide us with some constructive criticism. We will absolutely continue to work on our service training, and explore the idea of potentially transitioning from latex gloves at some point. We can assure you that gloves are changed and sanitized very frequently by staff in order to provide the most sanitary experience possible. We hope you give us a chance again sometime soon. Thank you.
Celebrating a friends 50th Birthday
Went there to try out the bloody Mary bar, was not disappointed. Even the breakfast food was very delicious
My scallops were rather bland and the oysters were on the small side @ $3 ea! However my wife much enjoyed her salmon.
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner for two to celebrate his birthday. We sat at a table in the corner with a view. We didn’t feel rushed. Our food was outstanding.
Wonderful brunch, our omelets were cooked perfectly and the Bloody Mary bar was incredible—- dozens of fun add-one to try
Burger was sensational! Service was perfect!
Grouper was under done!
Pricey for a limited menu but the service was very good and the sunset was nice.
Great brunch included valet parking and an amazing bloody mary bar.
Weekend brunch! Truly an experience if you’re in the area. The Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar is truly out of this world!
Enjoyed dinner very much. Denard (I think that’s how you spell it ) was Awesome!!! Very attentive to our every need! A bit over priced but other then that Great!
Pricey but good!
Excellent food, amazing mimosa and Bloody Mary bar. Will be visiting again.
This is a great place with very nice ambiance. Unique menu. We had the special was Branzino for 2 which was delicious and boned tableside.
The Seabass was excellent. The dessert menu disappointing, obviously no pastry chef. Mainly ice cream. The service was not attentive and I waited 30minutes for my salad! Overpriced for what you received!
The service was great. The food however was lacking. The lobster was extremely over cooked and the filet did not have any notable seasoning. I did not care for the sauce either.
The restaurant ambiance was very nice.
We may try it next year, perhaps it was an “off day” for the chef.
Excellent food & service in a beautiful setting.
The Bloody Mary Bar was awesome! Delicious brunch!
Brunch birthday. Samantha was our server and she was delightful
We celebrated a birthday at the Catch of the Pelican recently. Curtis, our server, and the waitstaff that took care of us were absolutely on point. We experienced a very delicious meal and our night was so fun because of the staff. Would come again!
The restaurant is part of the Naples Grande Hotel. It offers inside and outside dining...as a result its a tad expensive, but it’s on the Gulf so the view is excellent. Heavy on seafood- but my life partner had Filet Mignon and said it was excellent, I had the diver sea scallops and they were excellent. Service was prompt and friendly. We went to Cafe Milan and USS Nemo during our stay and this place was much better- enjoy
Despite the restaurant not seeming to be busy, we had very slow service. It took awhile for our server to check up on us and we ran out of drinks and had to wait to be served again. The food was good and prepared well, but the price was a bit high compared to other similar restaurants we have been to. If you are staying at the resort, it is worth a try, but if not....don't bother.
Good example of how poor service can make for a poor experience, dispite the quality of the food or atmosphere. Our server was handling too many tables. Waited way too long for our server to return so we could ask for the bill, with empty drinks, finished plates, and no water.
Our table was perfect outside near a wall which kept down the noise. Our waiter was great not pushy. Food & sunset was wonderful for celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary...Thank you🥂
Would be nice if kitchen would split salads!!
It was Sunday brunch beat breakfast I have ever had
This was the most disappointing restaurant experience I have had in Naples since 2004.
From the moment we drove up to the hotel, we were not greeted or even acknowledged by an overwhelmed valet staff. It took approximately 15 minutes before room was made for us to park our car (with the anticipation that the attendants would take care of relocating it.)
Then our first order - drinks...produced 2 ill prepared
Manhattans. These were returned to the bar and re-made. My companions still were not happy with them but didn’t ask for any more changes.
There were 4 of us dining. My three fellow diners were smart enough to order from the appetizer and side menus. Burgers and French Fries were good. A sushi tower had little raw tuna on it and was mostly guacamole. My salad had a pungent champagne dressing that ruined the taste of the vegetables (which would have been first quality.) I had the scallop dinner. 3 scallops were broiled and had a bulgur accompaniment together with a few root vegetables. It did not justify the $30+ price tag.
No dessert was even contemplated. Please, if you stay at the Naples Grande...find alternative places for dinner.
Naples has many fine seafood restaurants. Unfortunately, the Catch of the Pelican...is not one of them.
Outstanding experience - based on comments in the open table reservation, the restaurant staff were aware of our anniversary celebration. They provided complimentary champagne and the most wonderful dessert we've had in recent memory.
In addition, the grouper fish we had was the best I've ever eaten. I've been consuming FL grouper for decades.
