Please please please bring back Au Gratin potatoes to your menu. It has been way too long since you have had them.

Overall, we had an enjoyable group dinner at the Catch. We initially noted preference outdoor seating on our reservation but because we called to delay our reservation by 30 min, we were unable to be seated outdoor, which was disappointing. The food and wine list were excellent. Given it was a very busy night, service could have been better.
How much is the Chilean Sea Bass?
The dinner menu on Open Table says $39.99. The dinner menu on the restaurants website says $40.99. And the dinner menu at the restaurant says $45.99. Same dish - three difference prices. When I asked, I was told because there was a convention in town, the prices were higher. The top of the menu did say "Convention Menu", so that sounds like the explanation. But is that fair to advertise one price online (including through Open Table where I made my reservation? My server told a manager, who came over an explained this me and offered to buy me a glass of wine to "call it even." Seemed like a good trade, so I paid the higher price and got a "subsidized" glass of wine. Service at the bar was a little slow. Food was good.
Service was incredible slow. Despite saying how hungry we were, we didn't have our orders taken for over 30 minutes. There was only one server for the entire area.
We have been eating at The Catch for many years. We were surprised to see so few people inside for a Saturday night, and most of them were going to the concert next door at the Grove. We were seated promptly by two very friendly hostesses. Menus were dropped and it seemed to take a while before our server greeted us. He asked if we were going to the concert and assured us he would have us "out in time."
Our drink order was taken right away and we scanned the menus. It took quite a while to get our two martinis. The standard "the bar is really backed up tonight" excuse was given. We checked out the wine menu and decided to go with the Opus One for $41, asking if this was the correct price?!? The server assured us that it was, the menus were just updated. We told him to check and he came back and said "You were right. It should say $415." We then ordered the Stag's Leap Merlot but were brought the Stags' Leap (the apostrophe makes a big difference in this wine).
After being there for 45 minutes, our first course finally arrived. We ordered wine by the glass as our food had already been delivered. We still did not receive the wine until halfway through our entree. It appeared that there were other diners who were in and out faster than we were.
I had the crab and artichoke stuffed King Salmon which was good (but would've been better with my wine) and my husband had the blackened salmon which he said was a small portion and not spicy enough. The bread (when requested) was crisp and tasty and the lobster bisque was excellent.
Kudos to the manager. We asked our server if we could speak with her and he got very nervous, asking if everything was okay. We told her we wanted clarify the menu problems we had. She came to our table and listened to our concerns about the wine menu inaccuracy. She then apologized and offered a round of drinks on her. Our martinis were comped but I'm not sure it's enough to get us back there.
The food was excellent, the menu offered many choices and the service was great.
We were pretty disappointed with this place. The decor and staff were great. Our server had bad breath but only one of us suffered that issue. The low ratings are strictly for the mediocre quality of the food. We ordered 3 filets and the not one of us thought they were good. I ordered mine medium rare and it was so tough still. I’ve never had to use such force to cut a filet. It was pretty sad. We also ordered the gigantic lobster. It was over cooked to say the least. The best part of the meal is the bread you have to request be brought to you. The French onion soup was served Luke warm. The Mac n cheese was good. I was disappointed that they didn’t ask if I wanted to pack up leftovers because I did want that and bread. For the prices of this place, it is no where near worth it. I would have been for fulfilled had I gone across the street and got tacos. I will not ever go back here or recommend it.
We were on our way to Disneyland for the evening and wanted to try this place out.
Had the scallops with pork belly and the spicy seafood chowder. Both were very well.

Considering how busy it was, the staff was attentive and the food was out quickly.
Crab Cakes were excellent. Sea Bass was disappointing. Next time I'll try the steak.
Food and service wss great! View of the Stadium and Grove, not too exciting...
The service was good, but the waiter seemed a little overwhelmed with too many tables to serve, the food was a little pricey but the portions were big..,the only complain is about the steak ordered I asked for medium-well and got a really well and dry one. I asked about if it was cooked correctly and they did not bother asking to change so really not worth paying for something pricey that I didn’t end up eating
We had 2 salmon dishes that were well prepared. The salmons were moist and flavorful. The CHOPPED HOUSE SALAD was excellent, large portion and very tasty. The FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE and CLASSIC CRÈME BRÛLÉE were terrific. The service was great.
Food was average. Got overcharge on credit card. Crab cakes were bland. Couldn’t even finish the meal.
Great location next to Angel Stadium and a few minutes from Honda Center. Dinner before going to a concert worked out perfectly. Arrived at 6pm and on our way to the Honda Center by 7:45. Service was outstanding and everyone in the group enjoyed their selections. Definitely going back if we attend an event in Anaheim in the future.
The Chilean Seabass and the Butter Cake are a must! The food was amazing, the ambience very nice and friendly service.
We have dined at The Catch before for our anniversary and had an excellent time. We decided to do it again recently and it did not hit the same highs as it did previously. It was so noisy we had to move our table. The second location was better, but not great. Service was basically horrible and we even explained that we were not attending a nearby event so we had time, but the level of service was just not acceptable. When we asked for a utensil it was brought and dropped on the table in no particular placement. Let's just say the service lacked the quality for this restaurant.
The food was excellent and we still highly recommend it as a dining option. We enjoyed the Seafood Chowder (stew) and the Aged Ribeye. Both were excellent although there are not appropriate utensils for dealing with lobster and crab claws in the stew.
We made the reservation indicating we were celebrating our anniversary and no one at the restaurant ever noted or made reference to the event. We left it at that.
Great food and service... should have requested the dining room instead of the bar area for better conversations.
The service for such a nice place with many people on a business lunch was lacking. Only 1 waiter for the whole area not his fault but it took forever for him to take our order refill drinks etc my business guest had to leave before the check because it took so long.
Food was outstanding, Wait staff was outstanding, Ambiance was outstanding, (after we asked them to change the music overhead) overall very, very good. We love this place and plan to visit when ever we are in the area!!

I was a little disappointed they took the Ahi Salad off the menu. My go-to when trying to limit the carbs. I had the sizzling sashimi and it was good but left he mound of white rice behind.
We used to really like the Catch, but this dinner was very disappointing and they food was very high priced. Next time I will go to Ruth’s Chris.
Went to dinner before show at Honda Center. Staff was very aware of time constrains and fit the meal service perfectly. Food was great! Absolutely will return.
It started off good, the place was fairly dead as we entered with an online reservation. Our waiter described the two choices of Oysters as larger and a littler smaller, we choose the large type, once they were delivered I questioned if we received the correct order, the waiter assured me it was the larger type. I'm sorry but you could hardly see these Oysters and the manager didn't argue the point. I really felt like I was getting a product that the kitchen wanted to purge. To top it all off the waiter brings me someone else's bill. This waiter over sold me on the Oysters and once I complained about them he was disappeared only to bring me someone else's bill. I would not recommend The Catch.
Perfect place to dine before a hockey game, baseball game or concert. Great food, wonderful service.

Enjoyed the halibut and the crab legs. Grilled Artichoke sauce was vinegar based and a bit much. Would have like to see an aioli or something like that. Overall a good meal and good service.
My friend and I came for dinner before a concert at The Grove. So convenient and our halibut was delicious!

We had a great time celebrating my wife's birthday before attending the Chris Isaak concert at the Grove. The Sea Bass is amazing, and our server Philip did a fantastic job making it a real memorable night.

Awesome service, but food was average at best.
We had eaten at Catch a couple of years ago. Both food and service were outstanding. This time; however, the experience was disappointing. Service was very slow even though the restaurant was mostly empty. We shared the calamari appetizer and is was good and enough to share. I had the scallops and my wife had the halibut. The scallops were ok but there were three with a lot of filler- pasta, mushrooms, etc. My wife’s halibut was very over cooked and so dry it was nearly inedible. Given that the cost of the meal was over $100, we won’t be returning.
