   Great traditional steakhouse. We were celebrating a graduation, and everyone found something to eat. The server patiently explained every dish and made sure our specific needs were met.

   Great restaurant! Delicious steak, lobster, salads, creamed spinach and shrimp cocktail. An after theatre destination for us this time, but great beforehand too. Classic.

    We had a wonderful dinner at the capital Grille. Our waiter. Carlos was helpful explaining the food and drink menus. My husband steak perfectly and he signs her a great complement asparagus and mashed potatoes. I had the tuna with the rice. I don’t remember what it’s called. We would go back.

    Our anniversary dinner and the restaurant never disappoints. The food and service (thank you Shannon!) was excellent. Just as we were wrapping up a very large group (20+) came in and we’re seated at the far end of the main dining room. They were very loud and it definitely changed the ambiance, so we were glad that we were leaving. I would highly recommend the restaurant.

    We dined here for my husband’s birthday. And Ryan was our server. Low and behold it was also Ryan’s birthday. We had a great dinner, great wine and a lovely time. We’ll definitely be back and request to have Ryan again. He wore fabulous glasses!

    I've always had a good time here! Excellent food well prepared and good selections. Service impeccable, around when I need them but not overbearing. Ambience is reasonably quiet and comfortable. Great location for plays downtown Minneapolis. Costs appropriate to food and service.

    We were all excited about how hot our food was when it was delivered and how hot it was still minutes after we all started eating. Ryan was an amazing server and had great recommendations for our table. Food, drinks and ambience were 10/10!

    I actively avoid chain restaurants. This is my exception. Get the lobster and arugula salad. You won’t be disappointed. Their lunch filet is also amazing. Seriously? Go here.

    FABULOUS AS ALWAYS! We love The Capital Grille and love that we are familiar with all the servers/bartenders in the bar area. That is where we always prefer to dine. It's always a great experience and we've spent many casual and special occasions there.

    My daughters (26 and 12) and I agree, best steak we've ever had. Lobster Bisque was spectacular and full of lobster. All the food was top shelf and our waiter John was great. Keep up the great work!

    Great service from the moment we got there, till the time we left. Started with the Stoli Doli and my friend who normally has bourbon straight up, ordered the Sidecar and enjoyed it very much. We were going to a show after so no appetizer. I had the roasted pear & Gorgonzola salad & she had the lobster bisque. We both ordered the sliced filet and added the blue cheese crust. Excellent and done to perfection. We also ordered the soy glazed Brussels sprouts with bacon. My friend finished her plate and I needed a doggy bag. They offered to hold on to it till after the show. And it was ready & waiting when I went to pick my car up from the valet. And could not of asked for better service!

    Wish they had smaller portion option in main dishes. All pretty large chunks of meat. We found ourselves staying away from main course selections because of the large sizes

    Great atmosphere lamb chops were superb was not a fan of the calamari too dry and not enough peppers for my taste. The waiter was friendly, quick service, and most of all I was able to find us mint jelly for the lamb chops. I will definitely be back.😀
