Love, love, love! The Burrata and tomato salad is so fresh. The tomatoes are so sweet. Oysters were fantastic! Have to ask for horseradish if you like it but they quickly deliver. Ribeye was cooked to perfection and we loved the scallop potatoes and wild mushrooms side dishes. Elegant restaurant. Lots of people dressed up. Lots of families and groups. Perfect for a date night too!

Got seated almost an hour after our reservation, waiter never even introduced himself, or go over any specials. Went to order and “Oh sorry we’re out of that”. Finished our meal, went to order dessert and “Oh sorry we’re out of that”. Waited another hour for the check. Horrible experience.

Mary, our waitress was amazing very knowledgeable with beverages and the food. Mary was helpful and getting the general manager Josh over to our table to go above and beyond and allow us to go into a cigar bar adjacent to the Capital Grille. It was an amazing night for all.

We sat at the bar so it was very noisy although that was what we expected so it wasn't disappointing. Definitely choose to sit in one of the private rooms if you're looking for a more intimate experience.

Great service and great amazing atmosphere. Food was very good had filet and wife had chicken both cooked to Perfection. The mushrooms were very so so and mashed potatoes were a little above average. Drinks good but very $$$.

We were there for a birthday lunch! They placed metallic colorful confetti and 3 large beautiful roses greeted us at the table! We had a delicious lunch and then they brought a happy birthday plate with chocolate gaunache raspberries and whipped cream! Everyone who helped us was personable, professional, and helpful! It was a memorable day and we are so grateful for the wonderful memories we made at Capitol Grille on the Country Club Plaza, KC! Thank you so much! ❤️

My filet was overcooked to well done and I asked for medium. Everything else, calamari, lobster, sides were amazing! The server was funny, smart and very attentive.

I have never had lunch at Capital Grille but it was amazing. The food never ever disappoints and the service was excellent. Our waitress went above and beyond. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

Service was amazing, food was average at best. Order steak medium rare, it was more like medium well. Dry. Was out with a client and didn't want to act fussy in front of them so I didn't send it back. If it wasn't for an awesome server, this would have been an utterly disappointing experience. I've been to Capital Grille several times, so I know they can do better.

Steaks were ordered medium rare and came out rare. Table was uneven and shook, and the tabletop itself could be spun. Server was outstanding and attentive. Probably won’t go back, however.

Such a fantastic experience- every detail was spot on. We went for birthday celebration, but will be back before the next “reason” to celebrate. Our server Corey was funny, professional, and took great care of us.

We had an absolutely spectacular dining experience at the Capital Grille. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was so romantic and our waitress, Patrice, was so professional and friendly. I can’t imagine having a better evening. It will be one of those nights that we will remember the rest of our lives.

This is a lovely restaurant. We ate at a table in the bar and we’re not rushed at all. We had leisurely drinks and then the entre. It was very good though pricey.
