THE Blvd - Beverly Wilshire Hotel
Host needs some training, waiter was alright. Arrived 5 mins early, host made it clear with attitude that we were early and that we had to wait for our table, was seated 15 mins after our reservation time after watching others with the same group size seated before us. not worth what they charge. Meals were average. Decor needs an update.
Great service and I loved the food!
Great experience! Thank you!
Everyone at the restaurant couldn’t have been more gracious and accommodating. They really made our anniversary very special!
Music band is too loud. Otherwise it's very good
They are always SUPER NICE, always have a smile on their faces, and are SUPER SUPER NICE to my Service Dog Toby.... and he loves the chicken there...
Great restaurant at the heart of Beverly Hills, great food and service. Perfect for a date, business lunch, anniversary, etc.
Dinner for 4. All was excellent . Food was first rate , service as expected for this class of restaurant , and ambience elegant . We arrived a bit early and were able to get a window table looking down Rodeo Drive and away from the live music . The music was excellent however , but it might have been difficult to have dinner conversation if too close . Also a few extras were nice . The chef brought out a new dish for us to try and give our opinion on. It was wonderful. Also after dinner we received a desert to share for the birthday we were celebrating . It was wonderful too. Only hiccup was when they changed servers on us and did not tell us . The new server went AWOL for a bit until we flagged him down. We would go back again however .
Enjoyed the ambiance. Quality of food good could have been better for the price . Disappointed Rose Garden was closed.Valet Service was grest
This is a difficult review since the food was excellent, however, the service was not. Upon entering from the street entrance, it was clear that it wasn’t the main entrance so we waited for some direction. After about 10 staff passed us, we walked around and found the front. The hostess seemed occupied with a guest, not sure, but we waited at the hostess stand for 7 minutes until we were helped. Was quite awkward. We were seated and our main waiter was great. However, another waitress came by who was crabby and asked if we had been helped. We only placed drink orders and told her the same, but she seemed eager to take our order which she did. She made two mistakes. Other than the poor customer service experiences, the food was incredible!! I had the beet salad and lamb chops and my wife had the arugula salad and pappardelle. Hope this review helps.
Good service and flexible on off menu options.
Always a great experience! David, our waiter was fabulous as was Andre the security! Can’t wait to go back!
The coffee, service and food were excellent. My husband and I had breakfast there after staying at The Beverly Wilshire Hotel, and David, our Waiter, was so personable and gave us excellent service. We would definitely recommend the restaurant and will revisit it again sometime in the future.
We never got service. After 20 minutes, we left and went across the street.
Dining at the Blvd. is really wonderful. I’d stopped by for coffee on several occasions. Finally when I did get to stop by and actually enjoy a meal, the Blvd. did not disappoint. Making reservations online is so simple. They have good entrees available to Vegetarians. They had really lovely desserts as well. One was even in the shape of a Santa hat! (That’s seasonal I’m sure.) The food was exceptional, the portions were just right and the service was great. Plus we got a booth with a view. What more can you ask for when you’re enjoying a post Christmas dinner!
Christmas lunch was not aware it was PRI fixed otherwise would have gone else where. The food was a big disappointment. Normally it’s a nice place for special occasions.
Food wasn't that great compared to the price, however, presentation was good. For $900 for 4, I would expect much better service as well.
Nice ambiance and good food.
Beautiful room with great food and service! The filet mignonette was prepared perfectly. Our waiter was gracious and very efficient.
Food was not of the quality expected for this restaurant. We ordered signature egg frittata dish and was bland. Also ordered the avocado toast and had to send it back the toast was burnt. Very disappointing for price of the meals.
Christmas 🎄 lunch
Perfect in all aspects.
This was our first visit for Dinner. Very vibrant and the live music was great.
A romantic venue for quite conversation it is not (except maybe at lunch time)
The food was as usual very good. The decorations for the festive holiday season were fabulous and were one of the highlights for the visitors I invited there.
Such a great lunch with the girls on the patio. The service was hands down the best I’ve had anywhere in LA the entire time I’ve lived here. Pricey but worth it to make a special occasion special.
the chairs and banquets fabric is dirty and must be recovered- this is a beautiful room , good food and quite, but not what one wants with the dirty , spotted fabric.
I would recommend the Beverly Wiltshire hotel to any one visiting for a meal the food was excellent and the hotel really beautiful and all the staff friendly and exceptionally helpful .The only negative was I found the lighting very dim and cold due to the air condition. This may be a personal issue but I felt if the restaurant was warmer it would add a more inviting and homely atmosphere to the surroundings. Overall the experience was very enjoyable for a birthday celebration on our trip yo Los Angeles.
We were very disappointed by the food particularly when considering the price eg advertised to have spinach and maybe got one leaf? Will not be going back unless someone else really wants to go
It is central. Service is friendly and the staff leave you to talk and just chill. Nice.
We had out of town guests visiting. Made a reservation for a table on the Patio. What a hit with them. They loved watching all the cars go by. The menu is a bit limited for a Saturday lunch, but we were there for the location. The presentation of the food was beautiful. The service was good, nothing extra ordinary. However, we stayed for ver 2 hours and we were not rushed to leave by the server or management! That was a real plus in this instance.
Wonderful place for lunch. Wait staff very professional and friendly. We all enjoyed our entrees! Beautiful decor and very relaxing!
I never write reviews but just had to for here! My husband and I were on holiday in L.A celebrating my 30th birthday. We visited this restaurant on my birthday and the service was outstanding especially from our waiter David... who recommended the special to my husband who thoroughly enjoyed. The setting of the hotel is iconic and we would highly recommend to anyone visiting! Thank you again and hopefully we will be back!!
Had a fab time. Lived up to expectations. Would recommend
This is a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful grand hotel. We came here on a recommendation for our wedding anniversary whilst on holiday in California.
Food was amazing , but the whole experience was let down by absolutely shocking service. The hostess was friendly, but the rest of the waiting staff were incredibly rude and arrogant. Our waitress only bought us one drink even though we ordered two , and we had to ask several times for the other drink to be served. The food was literally thrown in front of us , table cleared really quickly and were never asked if we wanted more drinks or food. The cheque was given to us very quickly.
Maybe being English we are used to and expect good service , especially in a hotel of this calibre. But to be honest, I have had better service in McDonalds and would never recommend anyone came here.
Very disappointing day out
Nos encantó el lugar , la ubicación en rodeo drive ,la atención del staff , las bebidas en su punto y la comida deliciosa .
Two of my friends and I, from North Carolina, were in LA for a Route 66 Birthday celebration (since we all turned 66 this year!). For a week we packed it in seeing the magic of Warner Brothers, iconic sites, a play, museums, eating fabulous food, enjoying the conversations with our Lyft drivers and picture taking on the Santa Monica Pier at the “End of the Road” Route 66 sign. We even got out of town to see Hearst Castle in San Simone and had a wine tasting at Stolo Winery in Cambria. On our last day, we were trying to decide what to do. One of the group, being a “Pretty Woman” fan, suggested lunch at the Beverly Hills Wilshire. As we flew back to NC we agreed the 2 hour lunch at The Blvd was one of the most fun things we did and best way to end the trip. Why? The manager and wait staff were unsurpassed in detail and hospitality. The food was delicious and atmosphere was elegant without being stuffy. If we could give 6 or 7 stars we would but we’ll just have to settle on 5!
A little pricey and service was not optimal but good experience. Nice ambiance.
The service was AWESOME! When my wife casually said she would prefer something other than breakfast, our server smiled and said, this is the Beverly Wilshire, you can have just about anything you would like. She chose Salmon with a capers sauce and fresh vegetables. They custom made her favorite meal. Our server stopped by regularly so we never felt neglected. The food temperature, presentation and taste was spot on perfect. After we paid our bill, the server surprised our special guest (birthday girl turning 50) with a complimentary Mimosa. Our server really made us feel welcome and special. (I regret I do not remember his name) Our reservation was on Sunday 9/23 at 11:15, party of 6 (only 5 joined) under the name Maxwell. Please take a moment and look up our server and tell him one more time "Thank you for serving us"
Great! Awesome staff!
