   Perfect hospitality as always at this long-established but still slightly-sexy eaterie. Their steak & frites at £23 is a bargain and plenty of choice (and prices)on their traditional menu. Good cool jazzy background music and live musicians three nights a week. Excellent location midway Waterloo Station and Royal Festival Hall --- dont let the horrible roadworks nearby put you off!! There IS a way through and the ambiance will soon have ypu relaxed and well-fed

   A surprisingly good find! Friends had eaten here before but it was my first visit. Food was excellent, service was good. I’d eat here again.

   An excellent and tried and trusted venue. It certainly lived up to all our expectations and the food and service was very good. It was also very reasonably priced by today's standards. In addition, the steak on the Prix Fixe menu was not large but was excellent.

   The Arch Duke is discreetly located between Waterloo Station and the Thames, with an exterior that gives little indication of the experience within. However, upon entering, the space opens into a warm and welcoming dining environment, enhanced on select evenings by live jazz performances—though unfortunately not on the occasion of our visit. Service was prompt and attentive, and the cocktails were excellent. The food was of a high standard, although the dessert selection was somewhat limited. Overall, I would be pleased to return for another meal, ideally coinciding with a live jazz evening.

   Beef bourgonion was exceptional, great portion! We also had spinach artichoke appetizer which went great with my Mai Tai. Very Cute ambiance, upstairs especially. Waiter was attentive. Highly recommend

    Delicious, reasonably priced meal served by friendly, helpful waitress. She tried to get the horrible loud Muzak turned down as it was making conversation difficult - but she didn't have much luck. A pity - it made the whole experience less enjoyable.
