El restaurante y enoteca The Archduke está ubicado en South Bank, a pocos pasos de lugares de interés famosos de Londres, como el IMAX, la noria London Eye y el Royal Festival Hall. The food was excellent well presented good table and a good atmosphere. My only issue was £4.25 for a can of coke a bit excessive if I’m honest and the only thing that may put me off visiting again.

The service was great and the space is nice under the bridge. The steak had little flavour but the fish was good.

Had a very nice meal at Archduke. My salmon was very good but I would have preferred garlic butter to creme fraisch. Green beans were done well if not that sweet. Small news potatoes were great. My wife's Steak frites was ok. She would have preferred a more tender cut and the frites were cooked too much for their skinny size. Her appetizer(she has the price fixe meal) was OK-guacamole and fresh pitas. The Merlot was so-so but we do not know wines from Europe well. Service was excellent.

With the growing food scene that surrounds them, they need to be careful. The entrance is unappealing with so many empty seat and doesn't give a very good first impression. That said the food was good and the service even better. The red wine was a tad warm. Most reds If not stored in a controlled environment would benifit from 10 mins in the fridge before serving.

Really enjoyed the set lunch at the Archduke prior to watching Witness for the Prosecution. Both my friend and I were very pleased with our choices. I had prawns, baked mushrooms & icecream sunday. My friend had prawns, Steak frites & apple pie & cream. I would definitely go again when I'm in that part of London.

We had a pre theatre lunch with cocktails. The service was friendly and the food and cocktails were excellent. Such a unique venue will be coming back again

Lunch with friends on a Saturday afternoon. We have eaten here before and the restaurant always has quite a few diners but not overly busy so quite relaxed. 2 of us have allergies which were dealt with very well and staff were knowledgeable. I enjoyed the 3 course set menu which was good value. Instead of steak, this time the others had a double burger which looked tasty. Unfortunately all said it was a little dry which was disappointing. Chips are lovely! We will be back but may chose other food option.

Very positive experience. Consistently nice food and excellent value especially the set menus. My go to place for several months now on the South Bank Meetings with friends and Concerts opposite at the Royal Festival Hall. Very friendly and fast service. Only noise caveat is to make sure you get a table near door as it might get quite busy when busy! More please

The Archduke is a longstanding establishment, providing good service from various staff members. The menu provides a good variety of options taking into account seasonality. This time, I dined with a friend upstairs, sitting near the window and watching many people pass by outside. I've also had a seat downstairs towards the back of the restaurant and also outside in the past. It's a short walk from both Waterloo station and the Southbank.
