Been a few times for lunch, dinner and the occasional glass of wine. Pretty chilled environment except on Sunday when’s its very busy with everyone having roasts! Although the best way to spend a Sunday or any other day for that matter! Really homey setting which is complemented by the lovely staff and delicious food - without a doubt the best roast in London. A much for a Chelsea local, even if its just for drinks. Our waiter today was charming, very smartly dressed, tailored made waist coat, very impressive in his suggestive sales in description to the Sunday specials the roast duck confit which my father had chosen. Very pleasant bar as well, enjoyable Bloody Mary compliments to the chef, the waiting staff, the barman We will return

Visited Codrington on Sunday and was welcomed in the door by a pleasant gentleman who showed us to the reception. We then we guided to a cozy corner booth table with a 1950’s lamp. Prompt service, children loved the apple tingler suggested by the waiter. I loved the the flat white- needed a bigger mug though and more of it. Our food order was taken by a tall brunette who seemed knowledgeable but a little tense I think she seemed over worked in her large section. Overall, food was really grand from the roast very classic to the truffle fries. The admiral Codrington is well recommended.

Visited this place for Sunday lunch with friends. We ordered roast beef and roast chicken but had had to wait 35 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Food was good when two of us had the roast beef, one was thinner the the other was more large, not so equal portions. We were served by four different waitresses which was confusing, I think our main waitress was a young blonde whom seemed seemed lost in transition as she had to go to the kitchen and ask the chef on what we asked three times Food was good except for the portion size, service steady just too many servers to one table

Where to start , food has improved best roast beef in town. My friend had the chicken and the Yorkshire cooked perfectly. Staff and service very good, cheerful bunch of diverse group. We are glad to see Damien again who by chance was our waiter. He’s very cheerful and charming. We just found out that he is the supervisor good on him, the admiral should be happy to have him. Someone who knows he’s work. Today’s lunch was relaxing and delicious, service spectacular It’s good to come to our local pub for a good lunch and service

We spent an enjoyable Sunday lunch at the Admiral Codrington and the food we received was delicious. I'm not sure the difference between a flat white and a latte has been discovered yet, however...! The service was good up until we had been served our coffee and then we were seemingly forgotten about and had to put our coats on to attract the attention of the waiter to finally pay our bill. Overall, it was a good afternoon but felt the service should have been followed all the way through to when we left.

Our waitress seem lack lustered, did have any idea about the menu. Top of that, we waited a long twenty minutes to arrive. When she took our order, she seemed confused. A few missing items on our order, we asked to see the manager but she simply ignored us. The job must be very hard for her As for the food, was very good we started with the fish soup then the mussels. Hopefully next time the waitress will get it right in knowing her products .
