   I think they don't have enough staff as the staff seem like they are rushed off their feet. The food is good and good atmosphere

   Great food as always at the Abbeyville. Sadly they were very busy when we got there- and so the service was very slow to begin with; (waiting 20 mins for a bottle of wine), however the staff were very apologetic. The food, as always, was IMMENSE! My only complaint was it was very loud- and difficult to hear my friend talking which isn't nice when there is only two of you and you are struggling to hear one another. (Or maybe I'm just getting old!!)

   Unexpected visit from family meant a Sunday roast at The Abbeville — somewhere I'd wanted to try for a while. Good meal & friendly, accommodating staff. Was very busy but that added to our experience rather than disrupted our service.

   The food was good. The children's menu was imaginative, proper food in child-size portions, and even had a colouring children's menu. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

   The Abbeville won't be winning any Michelin stars anytime soon, but that's not to say it's a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The menu is a primarily traditional British with a modern twist. The halloumi and asparagus salad was light and bursting with flavour while the Toulouse sausage was stunningly spiced and the mustard mash a perfect accompaniment. The wine selection was perfunctionary but well suited to the venue, price was reasonable. Wait staff were very on the ball and attentive, and the meal was paced well. Perfect for couples looking for a retreat into the rustic for an hour or two. A great spot to take family and visitors to London too. Finally, was very charming to see dogs and families accomodated by the fantastic wait staff. AM

   Stunning little pub on a nice secluded street. Good atmosphere and lovely surroundings. Food was good and the service was fantastic. Very friendly but professional and even met my request for a table by the fire. I have already recommended the Abbeville to friends and will definitely return soon.

   Lovely food in a very relaxed buy cool pub setting. menu choice always good as daily specials. We love this place because it is such good value and relaxing

   Went for a friend's birthday late on Sunday and found a warn and buzzing pub. Although every table was full ... they still happily accommodated an additional 2 guests at our table, which was very kind. Although we didn't order until 6pm they still had all the roasts available and at £14 each they were incredibly good value. The belly pork was excellent. Huge bowls full of great quality meat, very impressive yorkshire puddings and lots of veg and gravy. The desert menu was also ideal for those cosy winter evenings. The Oreo cheesecake was out of this world as were the Espresso Martinis. They were also happy to add a candle to our friend's desert as it was her birthday. A really lovely Sunday lunch venue - i'll definitely head back.
