   This is the second time we have dined at Texas and it did not disappoint. If you are looking for a quiet place, Texas may not be for you. But, everything else is just exceptional. Gina who took care of us could not have been better. Everybody there checks to insure we were taken car of. My wife and I were thre for our 59th anniversary and they made it special. I believe we both had teh best steak (the 8 ounce sirloin) we have ever had. I would recommend Texas to anybody looking for a fine dining experience.

   Nice variety of options on the menu. Well prepared and fresh. Service is consistently friendly and professional.

   Wonderful hospitality, service, and food. Great place for a special occasion or treat. The ambiance is fun and friendly. Always a nice time going there.

   Perfect experience! Loved the entire staff. Dana, our waitress, was wonderful! My date and I will be returning! The only down side is no Sam! Maybe next visit!

   Fantastic and well worth the drive from Preston Hollow. Meredith our server was fantastic and Jim the wine guy picked out a great bottle for the 4 of us (we ordered another). Filet was great and owner Shelby came over to meet us. I'll be back!

   We have been to Texas a few times and have always had a great experience. Very attentive wait staff and hostess Shelby is awesome.

   If you want a great meal, presented by great people, this is the place for you. Every single person that works here was in a good mood and that came out in the service they provide. Not only was the waiter extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, but they have a crew of other people walking around making sure that you have everything and anything you could want. Even the owner, Dale Wamstad, was walking around greeting guests and asking if there was anything he could get you. I had the surf & turf and it came out perfect. All of the entrees come with two delicious sides so you can't leave this place hungry. The entertainment was a gentleman who was first playing the guitar and singing, then switched to a flute and sang. While he's doing this he's walking around greeting people with a smile on his face. Then he started playing the Star Spangled Banner on his saxaphone and before you knew it everyone in the restaurant stood up and started singing while facing the giant US flag hanging on the wall. This was great entertainment. On the way out a lady stopped us and insisted on getting us half a dozen fresh made chocolate chip cookies to take home. This was the best service I've had at an upscale restaurant in a very long time. We'll be back.

    We had reservations for 4 and the 2 of us were immediately seated on arrival. Waiter was attentive without being a bother. Food was great as always. 3 birthdays were celebrated around us within 5 minutes. I love Texas and will keep brining out of town guests here as they always love it!
