Ten22 Ratings and Reviews
Such great food!! The Brussels sprouts were amazing! Not too much balsamic and baked to perfection. The Caesar salad with salmon was really good, but the foraged mushroom pappardelle was excellent! Their signature bananas foster bread pudding was divine! Ten22 has so many yummy choices and I can't wait to come back to try more dishes.
First timer and it won't be the last. Was taken here for my birthday and it was an all around delight. Starting with valet parking for only $5. Greeting, seating, serve staff were all top shelf. Our server Mark was 100% perfect and gave me straight forward answers when I asked for help in ordering. He was attentive but not intrusive. Ten22 does group serving so when our food was ready, any available server delivers it. Very, very nice.
We enjoyed very much, the brussel sprouts appetizer, all roasted and delish along with the cauliflower/humus appetizer. My spinach salad topped with very tender, rare steak was super and I couldn't finish it. Others enjoyed the pork chop and a seafood entree. My husband was a tad disappointed in the fish and chips. He was hoping for larger pieces of fish and got something like nuggets. Flavor was good but it had more breading that way.
We're looking for a return visit in the near future.
We had 6pm dinner reservations but were at a concert that was still going on at six at Golden One. I called to see if they could hold reservation about 20 minutes (a Sat. night) and they said they were full but would try. We ended up being 40 minutes late (called again on our way there) and when we got there they had saved out table! Server was Maria- outstanding in every sense.
Service was awesome, prompt and very responsive. The dinner portions were a little small, but overall was very good. We had the banana fosters bread pudding for dessert and it was out of this world! Do take advantage of the Valet Parking they offer!!!! especially on events, in our case it was the festival of lights for old town and parking garages full those that were not were $15-25 prepay, valet $5 for 3 hours if eating at restaurant great deal! Overall I would return again to try some other items as the menu rotates based on season.
I had high hopes for this place, but overall we left disappointed and underwhelmed. Appetizers and drinks were the high point, all of our 4 meals were not great. I ordered their steak and crispy potato dish, and it may have been the worst steak I’ve ever had. It was medium rare but it was chewy, cut into these odd chunks, and had absolutely no flavor. My husband had the $20 burger and said it lacked seasoning as well. My in laws weren’t impressed with their dishes either. The waiter was nice but could have been more professional and didn’t know the menu that well. It just really wasn’t worth the price in the end, sorry to say.
Ten22 is one of my favorite places to dine in Sacramento. I would like to simply address that this experience was on Thanksgiving Day. We were leaving for vacation the next day and didn't want all the "stuff"to challenge our trip so decided to eat out...a Holiday first. The meal was exquisite...ALL of the staff was as gracious and pleasant as they could possibly be. I just may give up Holiday cooking altogether and plan on celebrating with Ten22 ! Wonderful experience.
First time visit for Happy Hour prior to the Kings game. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious and beautiful the interior space is, and look forward to seeing the patio area during the nice weather. We were rushed so couldn't peruse the menu for long but what we ordered from Happy Hour was delicious. I would warn first timers who wish to use valet service: the signage is practically non-existent which made it very difficult to find the place. We will be back!
We were from out of town, but we've eaten here in the past when visiting Sacramento. Went back this time after having positive past experiences. Still a wonderful restaurant with excellent food and service. Discovered a new local brew on their recommendation. Had a wonderful time.
There appeared to be multiple managers but no one was managing. Everything was out of sync the night we went to dinner. Our waiter didn't offer to inform us about the special because he said that it was sold out....by 7:00 at night! Our waiter also said and assured us that our salad and kids meal would come out before our food but our food came our first. Then we got a Caesar salad that was warm (it has sat out too long), so we got another one. This one has old, brown romaine lettuce. Our braised lamb dish was tough to eat as the meat was tough. The tortellini was also hard to eat as the pasta was tough.
My fiancée and I were there to celebrate our engagement (first date since engagement the day before). We had two specific questions for our waiter around food allergies. My fiancée is allergic to most soft cheeses and vinegar. We shared that with him. Specifically we asked about the cheese in Lasagna. He said it had mozzarella and Parmesan. We ordered it to find it had ricotta. Not ok for her. He blamed the kitchen for "not telling" him. He also said it had bacon, it did not. The salad that came with it had a vinegar dressing. He discounted the meal which we didn't want, we wanted to share a meal together. Also, water and bill were very slow to arrive/refill. We found ourselves waiting around a lot. Meal took about 45 minutes to arrive after multiple times telling us it was almost done.
Like other reviewers, we ordered those stupendous brussel sprouts. Our beverages arrived in a timely fashion then we ordered our entrees, from the salmon plate to kid pizza. We grew to wonder what happened to our order. Four or five times our waiter explained the food delay and we accepted each wait time because he kept us informed.
Also, we weren't in a hurry.
We each very much enjoyed our meals.
