Ten Foot Henry

As vegans, we went expecting a lot of options from a vegetable-focused restaurant, however there weren’t many choices without completely compromising the dish (I.e., must hold sauce, cheese, bread, etc.)
My sister went a week or so prior, and she was told all the dishes she ordered were vegan, however our servers told us otherwise. For example, she was told the cauliflower and broccoli were vegan as-is, whereas we were told the broccoli contained fish sauce and the cauliflower contained honey, both of which could not be omitted. The food was good, but the options were too limited. We probably wouldn’t go back, not only because other places have more to choose from, but also because the staff don’t all appear to be fully educated on ingredients. The service and atmosphere were great.

The food this visit was amazing as always. We ordered the jerk chicken and veggies to go along and were so full at the end of the meal. Charred cabbage and the yam tortilla are a must!

always so good at Ten Foot Henry. Definitely one of my top 10 faves in Calgary. Don't miss the tomatoes or potatoes or actually anything because it's ALL delicious.

It was our first time here the service was great the food was better than we thought it would be. We are excited to go back and try some other dishes we know that we won’t be disappointed.
It was definitely a fun place to go to I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Ten Foot Henry is consistently amazing. One of our favourite restaurants in the city, if not our favourite. You will not be disappointed if you eat here. Recommendations: get the tomatoes. A must. And butterscotch pudding for dessert.

Food was so good, service was awesome. Ordered some bubbly for mimosas and our waiter never let our glasses be empty for long .

Excellent food and service. I was not expecting much for ambiance, because the entrance is rather uninspiring, but the layout and plants and lighting are really well done. A great restaurant.

The redevelopment of the front of Ten Foot has created some new and great intimate spaces. The food and service remain the best in Calgary! Covid precautions are apparent and despite the lower occupancy, this is not the place to have a quiet conversation.

You will feel young and vibrant at this restaurant. Bright decor. Salmon cooked perfectly. You will learn to love beets here.

We have been here once before, also during the pandemic, first round! We really enjoy the flavour layers in the food ( is it crazy that you return to a restaurant for the broccoli??) and also the service- just the right amount of friendliness and efficiency.

First time trying Ten Foot Henry and we were most impressed! Outstanding menu items (the food combinations and flavours are to die for), wonderful service & humour from Roland, and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend this restaurant. It is now one of our favourite spots in Calgary.

Stopped in for lunch and I love how they've taken down the wall and opened things up to what used to be the cafe. Our server was helpful in making some recommendations, but unfortunately was difficult to flag down to order and as well to get our bill. They may only have 2 servers working, but we had to ask for the bill more than once. Otherwise the food was delicious as always. We tried the charred cabbage and the scallops to add to our usual tomatoes, yam tortilla, tuna crudo and butterscotch pudding. The cabbage and scallops had big satisfying flavours and I can't wait to have them again next time.

One of our favorite places! Delicious food, awesome staff. Felt very safe dining there during covid.
