Teatro, or ‘theatre’ in Italian, pays homage to our restaurants location in the Calgary arts and theatre district. Celebrating 25 years in 2018, Teatro has been serving contemporary Italian cuisine in a fine dining atmosphere. Housed in the historic Dominion Bank (est.1911), our award winning wine cellar hosts over 10,000 bottles and features 1100 labels, with a focus on the fine wines of Italy and Bordeaux. Enjoy artisanal cocktails at our stylish bar, reserve a table for your next business meeting, or indulge in a 5 course Chef's Tasting Menu . We also offer both private and semi-private dining options for large groups.

    We are excited to welcome alumni chef Daniel Pizarro back to Teatro ! Chef Daniel (now of Murrieta’s Group) will be working with Camilo to explore their Chilean heritage through food, featuring dishes from their childhood, paired alongside one of the iconic wine estates of Chile; Montes. Your ticket includes cocktail hour at 6pm, followed by a 3 course dinner served family style with pairings from Montes, including their illustrious Purple Angel, by many considered the finest Carmenere in the world.

    Had an excellent experience with the chef’s tasting menu and wine pairings. The food was exceptional and the pairings were great. The staff were all so friendly and attentive. The sommelier was incredibly enthusiastic. We had a show to get to, and they made sure we’d have time for the full menu and be out on schedule.

    From the greeting at the front door until we left was an awesome experience!! Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! Food was of very high quality and delicious!! It was a very nice experience to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Thank you

    We had a wonderful dining experience at Teatro! The food was absolutely amazing and we were so impressed with the service. One of the hostesses was so thoughtful to bring me a little stool so I could place my purse on it. Such a delight to dine at Teatro!

    I booked their Mother's Day brunch as a surprise for my mom and we were not disappointed. It was a wonderful experience in a casually elegant setting. They seated us at a great table, the service was outstanding, and the food was excellent. My mom ordered the carpaccio for her first course, which was beautifully plated and the highlight of her meal. I also appreciate that the room wasn't overly loud so we could converse easily. Thank you for helping to make my mom's day a memorable one!

    Enjoyed the restaurant the food was manna from the heavens and the staff were pleasant, courteous and attentive. They even asked if we were going to the Calgary philharmonic performance so that we would be out before the performance started.
