A very nice meal, a great pre-concert venue
Teatro's is one of our favourite restaurants. A great wine list, mostly quite pricey. Great selection of starters & appetizers as well as entrees. The halibut special was excellent... priced at $42.00. This Sunday evening our service was "fair" at best as it was extremely slow. As a note generally service is much better than it was tonight.
We celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary at Teatro with friends from out of town, and everything was delightful.
The food was impeccable, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was alive.
We will certainly return.
Our server Kaitlyn (sp?) made our night! And the food was even better than I remember - outstanding!
We stopped in for dinner prior to an event at the Jubilee. The service was superior, food is amazing (had the salmon and halibut dishes), and it’s a great location for pre-concert dining!
It was quite quiet, and service reflected that. Attentive but not intrusive. Possibly the best boulevardier I’ve ever had (Tip: Have them use Michters Sour Mash), and the good was excellent. Great wine list.
Good ambience; good service; food generally good but poor lamb entree and miserly glasses of wine.
It was for a birthday lunch but the service was soooo slow, the lunch took nearly 2hrs. The birthday was forgotten... otherwise the food was great, great ambience
We were celebrating our anniversary. We got married at Teatros three years ago.
Fabulous anniversary dinner! Food, wine, ambience, and service were all spectacular!
Excellent food. Even though we were away from others it was too noisy to carry on a conversation. We were constantly leaning forward to listen. Crumbs were not scrapped off the table as I would have expected at a restaurant of this quality. Portion size was adequate but not generous. Overall the 4 course meal left us full.
A wonderful mother's day meal. Attentive service, great food. Thanks!
The food was delightful. I went in with my mom for their Mother’s Day brunch tasting menu. We got a very nice greeting from one of the managers. The ambiance was so pretty, we sat somewhere where we could see the kitchen as it has a very beautiful open kitchen concept.
I booked thru open table and one of the questions was what is the occasion. It was Mothers Day but i also noted that it was my daughters birthday. The birthday was not recognized by staff or manager on duty. As for the value, when you are paying $250.00 plus for brunch, one would think that there would be more options available. Sorry but the quantity of food versus the bill did not add up. We have always saved our Teatro experience for special occasions and had considered it to be our go to when it was a high celebration so this was a major let down.
Food was excellent, dish presentation outstanding, top notch service, one of the best atmosphere in Calgary
Food could have been hotter
The service was fantastic!! Restaurant is by a very nice park. Definitely would recommend the tasting menu, the food was amazing!!!
Food was awful and overpriced. I'll never go there again.
Wonderful! Everything from the food and our server....exceptional! It was a fantastic end to our afternoon after Lunch Box Theatre. We will be back!
All was very good, but costly entrees for the amount of food. The seating seems so open and exposed, no cozy or private areas. Great location to Jack Singer so convenient for pre-concert dining!
I always enjoy going to Teatro, their food is really good, the service is great and the Tiramisu is absolutely fabulous. The best I ever had :)
This place was much more lively, fun and approachable than we were expecting. The service was outstanding. We wish we had tried it sooner, we will be back!
Best food of my life. Never before have I experienced a spring thaw and a summer campfire in food form. Such creativity and flavour, combined with the ambience, made for a perfect birthday dinner. The chef's selection was outstanding.
Great ambiance, attentive and experienced waiters, great decor with high ceilings and lots of room at the table. Food was outstanding particularly the Halibut main course. Wines were reasonably priced and total cost was well within (below) expectations for the atmosphere and quality of service. Our waiter Darren was great and please say thanks to him from us.
Terrific food and service! :)
The food quality was mediocre - undercooked calamari, over cooked fish, and bland risotto. Not worth it, even for reasonable business lunch prices. The service was painfully slow, despite having a reservation with a party of 3. It took an hour for our entrees to arrive, with no explanation given until requested of our water. I cannot reccomend Teatro after this experience.
I spent nice time with my wife.
We were celebrating her birthday amd it was great rime for bith of us!
Excellent meal and service. Very attentive. Need to provide more shading of the window blinds where the sun comes in from the West. Too blinding for comfortable seating and eating. Need better sun blocking window shades.
Perfect pre-theatre spot!
Ii was a dress up date night for my wife and I without our 2 yr old, and we had only been to Teatro once before about 2 years ago, pre Theatre w friends. Had always wanted to get back and after a year away from Calgary we were delighted to get a table Saturday evening. lt was the perfect dining experience, great ambience, romantic lighting, attentive wait staff, creative food options, superbly cooked and presented menu options. We have it down as our fav for special occasions.
Very accommodating and all staff were very helpful. Food was awesome.
Service from beginning to end was exceptional. Impressive wine list and food was amazing.
Great food and great service like usual.
Tasting menu awesome!
Will definitely be coming again soon.
Food was ok, not big portions, way overpriced for what you received
Every time I eat at Teatro I am impressed. Dinner the other night was no exception. Everything we ate was outstanding, as was our server.
Very friendly waiters/waitresses, Management. Personally engaging.
Great food, location.
Amazing food and service
From the moment we walked in for our pre-theatre dinner to when we left - everyone was fantastic! The food was wonderful - the Beet salad was a work of delicious art! Specials were wonderful and our server was a gem! Loved it!
We had not been here for a number of years and went for our anniversary. Tried the tasting menu. Food and presentation was amazing, well worth it. Paired the menu with the tasting wines. Wines were average for a "premium selection side" but the pours were generous. Amazing special desert was created as a surprise. This chef has game.
The waiters were very conscious of food allergies and even modified the menu to suit. Thank you!!
Background was noisy from adjacent tables, but everybody was enjoying the food and ambiance.
We will be back and especially to try the proposed 25 course tasting menu for Teatro's 25 year anniversary when announced.
We had a very nice evening at Teatro. The food was fresh, delicious and attention was paid to detail. It is a bit pricey, but it’s good. I’ve never had such a flavourful and juicy chicken breast. The carbonara was so good too! I would go back for sure.
