   This place is like stepping back in time. Very dark and very nice. Food was delicious . Steaks and potatoes. Server was a tad slow but food was great. The prices were very good. Will return.

   Service was great however. The quality of the food was poor at best. The new York strip I ordered, medium rare, was dry and had no floor. The green beans were obviously out of a can. Very disappointing!

   My wife and I went here for our 9th wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was great and the service was wonderful. We each had the prime rib. We asked for medium rare and what we got was more toward the rare side but that was OK because we ended up having it boxed to go meaning that if it was reheated it wouldn't be dried out. The creamed spinach had an interesting spice in it. All of the staff was friendly and the price was reasonable. We will come back!

   Everything you are nostalgic for in the great restaurants of the past is alive and well at the original Taylor's. It is a man's restaurant fit for women. Love the 35-day aged bone-in rib eye medium rare with the perfect garlic mashed potatoes. Wedge salad made correctly. Try not to get full on the to-die-for sourdough bread…it's baked especially for Taylor's and is a "secret recipe." And don't get me started on the REAL cheesecake, not to be confused with that mousse-y stuff passed off as cheesecake today.

   We ordered fillet mignon and prime cut meat..we ordered fillet mignon medium but meat was too well cooked.. besides that everything was great

   I have been to Taylor's many time. Sunday night we brought first time customers with us. Everything was wonderful until it came to getting our food. It took 1 hour and 35 min to receive our food. The manager said the kitchen was backed up tonight and they were sorry. The waitress came over one time to offer a drink on the house. At the end they comped 2 of the fives meals. I love Taylor's but, it will be years before I go back again.

   At Taylor's Steakhouse, the martinis are cold, the steaks are medium rare and the leather booths are filled with a refreshingly unhip yet diverse crowd. Yes it's loud and on Friday and Saturday nights, it's packed to the gills, but once you're in your booth, relax, sip that cocktail, pretend you live in another time and don't worry, Betty will take great care of you.    My husband and I were thoroughly delighted with the French dip made with slices of prime rib cooked to your taste, piled high. The onion rings are the best too!

    Other reviews had touted the excellence of the food at Taylor's and they werent wrong. I went with the Culotte Steak, which was fantastic. My husband had the filet with mushroom caps served on breaded tomatoes - another great dish. The service was amazing and overall a very good experience.
