grilled fresh salmon, crispy bacon, sliced tomatoes, spring mix, and dill aioli on a toasted egg bun
Great good and service!
Noise level way above "energetic ". Almost to the point of not hearing my dining companions
There was a sewer smell in restaurant
This is the fourth time I've eaten at the Tavern ... first time for brunch. I love this place!
We requested a booth and fortunately felt safely tucked away, it is a neighborhood gem.
Good and service was amazing as always!
The Tavern is always good and no surprises. And its one of the few restaurants that isn't nerve-shatteringly loud.
Our service Jay was outstanding!
It was my first time and I will definitely be back
Our food was deciduous and server was attentive and friendly. An enjoyable dinner all around.
Very nice brunch but fairly pricey for not being all-you-can-eat.
Food was, however, well prepared and very good.
Very enjoyable. I typically don’t order the pork chop, but it seemed to have an interesting twist (honey, goat cheese, brown super, bourbon cherries, peaches) so I decided to try it. Absolutely amazing! Will go back and order it next time too!
First time at this restaurant, and it was quite a reasonable price and value and good food. We will be back.
This is a highly overrated eatery
We were told it’s that since it’s so popular that reservations are necessary. I made reservations and found the best time on a Sat night
We were given a window seat that had MANY flies on it. We fought these flies during our stay. We told the bartender and he said “ I know!” * he may have been the manager as well.
Our server was super nice and service was quick
In fact, so many servers, each with a different responsibility. We thought there may have been a time limit in our stay. We were seated, served 4 courses in less than 1 hour.
The noise level was VERY loud.
I think this review is out of our complete disappointment that the eatery was more like an upscale Denny’s.
I don’t think we will be coming back on our own.
Great neighborhood restaurant. Always consistent with food quality.
Only feedback I would provide is the booth tabletops desperately need refinished!
A great lunch outdoors at Tavern! Quick service and tasty food.
Best meal we’ve had in a long time, and wonderful service. Will definitely be returning.
Food was not very good. There is too much bread in the dishes- the sliders, the bruschetta and crab cakes - minimal protein. Drinks were good.
Lovely place to have a casual dinner. Good service and good!
Girls night in the bat area for happy hour. Good and service were outstanding and the happy hour menu is a great value!
I hadn't been to the Tavern in a while. My last two visits were disappointing after enjoying several years of good food and service. I'm happy to report that the food and service are back to previous gold standard. We were there for an early lunch so it was a little quieter than normal. The wait staff was attentive and the food just as ordered.
Great brunch and service. The Monte Crisco sliders were just delicious and the French toast with peach compote was equally amazing. And of course the cheddar andouille hash is a must. Tavern is consistently great and never disappoints.
There was a hair in my food. It took several minutes to get our servers attention. He kept assisting the table next to us and walking away. By the time I got a new plate everyone else was finished eating. We planned on a casual brunch with several cocktails. The lack of hospitality from our server got us out ASAP. I hope he was just having a bad day. This was my first time there and it seemed like a nice place for brunch with friends.
Good food and service but got wrong order. Portions were big enough for two to share.
Loved it. Was our first time there. Will definitely go back!
Can not remember our waiter name, but he was great.
Food was not as good as previous visits, underseasoned.
Food was good , cocktails great! The atmosphere was eh…. I hate half booth half tables. Its awkward. Also, it was pretty loud.
As usual, enjoyed the experience. Nice spot for lunch or dinner.
Good menu variety. Great appetizers. Service was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this restRaunt.
Excellent food and service
Danny did such a great job taking care of my husband and me. Chef Jennifer LaBlanc suggested some amazing dishes for us. The heirloom tomato caprese salad was superb, as were the Mediterranean meatballs. My husband loved the bread pudding. We enjoyed our evening during our trip to KC so much.
We go to the tavern on a regular basis. The food is always
Good…and their specials are interesting seasonal tastes.
Service and staff are always thoughtful and patient. My four year old granddaughter “likes this place”…so it is family friendly…have never gone wrong here. Pets also enjoy the outdoor dining! It does get crowded so reservations are helpful!
Tavern consistently delivers great food and service. Worth going back often to check out the weekly menu additions. My favorite place to have lunch with friends.
I had lobster my wife had Asian tuna salad. Both very good. Also had a bottle of Lan rioja which was also good.
When we checked in, we asked if there was a booth available, but were told that they had all been reserved. At least one booth (that we could see) never had anyone seated during our meal.
That was disappointing.
As a minor item, our server attempted to clear my plate after I was done with my meal, but I asked her to wait until my wife was done. We think it’s awkward to have one person still eating while the others plate is cleared. We think the server should have asked before attempting to take my plate.
Outside dining with great food.
It would be nice if Women at other tables would stop screaming at each other. It makes a pleasant experience into a elementary playground environment.
The service in the bar is typically superior to the dining room and not sure why? Has been that way along time. We are very good customers and the servers in the bar know us well and treat us like “family” but we don’t experience that in the dining room on a regular basis with the same servers over and over??? Just disappointing. Mgmt is always very friendly which we appreciate!
Also, cannot figure out why outside is not full open for seating on all sides?
Otherwise we love the Tavern and it is our “go too” place most of the time.
Excellent service and food. The noise level was higher due to traffic on the street and a swim meet at a local country club, not anything they could change.
Sat outside due to nice weather which may have impacted the service slightly but nothing unacceptable. Kitchen was a bit heavy handed with the pesto on the app, but again nothing unacceptable. Overall pleased with this food and staff and would recommend to anyone asking .
Always enjoy the Tavern. It's a great place to gather. Food and Service is always reliable.
